Beliggenhet og rom for oss med hund og kort til lufteplass
Dårlig mulighet for lading av el bil

Superfint hotell, välstädat och överraskande modernt. Bra restaurang, mycket trevlig personal.
Kallt vatten i bassängen!

Hyvä aamiainen ja poronkäristys illallisella. Reppurisauna hyvä ja uima-allas käytössä.

A wonderful location for our one night stop-over to Hammerfest.
The pool was a little too cold for comfort, but the sauna was nice.

Die Lage und die Ausstattung
4.1

Breakfest was super! Restaurant good @ nordic price. Hotel clean atmosphere. We were only one day so could not enjoy the environment. We did a short walk (2km) to Jyppyrä hill. There was a perfect campfire hut with a great view on the like and surroundings.
Small village not much to do.
4.1
Good location and quiet. Ideal if you need a bed during a road trip. You can recharge your EV.
Carpet in restaurant needs a revamp. Indoor pool a bit too cold.
4.1
Location, friendly staff
The hotel needs renovation.

Best restaurant in whole scandinavia (considering food quality). Restaurant personal was very considerate and did their best.
The lake is a good place to see northern lights in winter.
Room was cold. Sauna and pool worked weird hours (if you stay for 1 night forget it exists).
There were northern lights above the lake, but a snowmobile tour (from the hotel) desided to lit all the lights (on snowmobiles and near the hotel) and drive around the lake for a long time not letting people enjoy the view.

Good breakfast
Nice sauna in the main building
Good location in Hetta
Free parking with electricity
The studio apartment in the annex had a serious mould problem, the apartment had a nasty smell. Not really suitable for accommodation.
Apartment is of good size, but very basic.
Price and quality definitely do not match.

We got to see the aurora just outside our door! The cabin was very large and spacious. Living room was huge - very suitable for families. Furnishing can be quite out-dated, but I'd rather call it retro / vintage :) Warm insides. Had a double door to keep out the cold.
We did not quite understand the instructions for the rooms so we took awhile to figure out that they were actually on the other side of the road from the reception building. The restaurant was closed just minutes before we reached (from a very long drive) and there was no other place that served food - so we did not have dinner that night. Sauna also closes quite early. But on hindsight, we missed dinner and sauna but saw the aurora so maybe that's good.
Dining table and kitchen was quite small. There were no coffee/tea/sugar/creamer packets, so bring your own.

one of the best hotels I ever stayed! my room had a stunning lake view. everything was excellent. I hope I can come back again.

Fantastic sauna, very good breakfast.
4.1
Nice lake view from the room.
Very clean room, renovated (except the bathroom).
Nice staff.
We had a delicious dinner.
Free parking and a cheap electric charger.
Comfy beds and sofa.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature.
The bathroom wasn't renovated since it was build, it would deserve some love. Also, the lighting in the shower could be better - when you closed the shower door, it was very dark in there.
We had to carry our suitcases down a staircase because there was no elevator.
You can only use the swimming pool from 16.00, it would be nice if it was open in the morning too.
The hotel is from 1984, so it felt a bit dated, though it has really good upkeep.
4.1
The pool and sauna were really nice.
We booked one apartment, but we did not know that they do not have WiFi. Only the main hotel building offers wifi access. The apartments are on the other side of the road and quite old. The apartment kitchen only offers the very minimal amount of kitchenwear.
4.1
Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Spacious cabin with large fully equipped kitchen. Located by lake and forests, at one with nature. Free access to sauna and good sized pool is a bonus.
Beware mosquitos in the region. Wifi (internet) connectivity was below standard.

The breakfast was delicious, the equipment rental at the hotel was convenient, we also enjoyed the pool and sauna. The location close to the ski tracks was great and we appreciated having a spot to charge out electric car.
The pool could use a bit of renovation, and there should be wifi also in the vacation apartments separate from the main hotel building.
4.1
Very friendly staff and great food which 100% makes up for the partly dated facilities! It must be said though that all facilities and our room were in immaculate condition and extremely clean. The hotel is a great location to do all the available winter-activities!
Nothing to dislike about our experience!
4.1
No human in all arriving process and it was incredible smooth and easy. Room door with code, breakfast already in the room. Really liked it!
One potatoe chips left between beds :) But despite that, all the apartment was very clean.
4.1
very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and great dinner.

Staff at reception excellent and hotel had Great Lake location
Uncomfortable air quality in the room, plus unable to turn off noisy cooker hob vent. The apartment needed to be updated esp bathroom and kitchen area. No WiFi in apartment only in the hotel across the road

Rooms in need of renovation

I loved the lake view from the restaurant and the possibility to swim in the lake after the sauna. The restaurant was excellent.
Unfortunately, my room was facing the parking lot, next time I will make sure to book a room with a lake side view. The rooms felt a bit outdated.
4.1
great location in a very quiet surrounding, easy access to the frozen lake and pathways on the lake, great breakfast
