Freundliches, sauberes Hotel mit Garten, Parkplatz und Anspruch - jedoch preislich überbewertet

Zum Zimmer: früher war dies ein Arbeitertagungsheim o.ä., die Zimmer sehr klein - im Zuge des Umbaus wurden daher jeweils 2 Zimmer zusammengelegt: dadurch hat man jetzt große und bequeme Zimmer, 2 kleine voneinander getrennte Balkone und neu eingebaut: (abgetrennt) WC und Bad (= Dusche). Zudem positiv: es ist ruhig, Parkplätze ausreichend und direkt beim Hotel. Alles sauber, gepflegt, mit Aufzug, freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal, zudem funktionierendes WLAN Bzgl. Lage: ist Geschmacksache - relativ schnell von der Autobahn, nahe an anderen Hotels etc., aber halt nicht ganz im Zentrum (v.a. zu Fuß ohne Rad halt doch noch ordentlich zu gehen) Bzgl. Frühstück: so man den Aufpreis von 20eur pro Person zahlen möchte: Grenzwertig - ordentliches Angebot, frisch - aber ob man dann als Paar 40,- extra zahlt... Zumindest beim Müsli würde ich mir doch eine gesunde zuckerfreie Alternative erbitten.

1. Definitiv die Ausstattung was Lagerung betrifft: ein großes Zimmer und keinerlei echte Kommode oder Kofferablage-Möglichkeit; ist lästig wenn man alles am Boden liegen hat. Wasserkocher extra an der Reception erbitten zu müssen anstatt am Zimmer vorzufinden ist auch etwas störend. 2. Die Enge der Nassbereiche: am WC muss man gefühlt ein Zwerg sein um sich die Hände waschen zu können, so niedrig - im Bad gibt es 1. de facto für eine Frau keine Ablagemöglichkeit um sich entsprechend herzurichten, v.a. nur komische Bildrahmenähnliche Holzquadrate an der Wand die gerade mal meine Zahnpaste und Handcreme gehalten haben und 2. ist die Dusche derart eng, dass man sich selbst als Halbspargel wie ich kaum umdrehen kann - ernstgemeint: wer dick oder Endschwanger ist sollte sich das gut überlegen. zudem ist der Radius der Duschwand (halbrund) größer als der erhöhte Duschboden = es schließt nicht richtig und der Badboden wird beim Duschen komplett nass. Schade, dass beim Neueinbau derart eng und klein gebaut wurde - wäre mehr "drin gewesen". 3. Abschließend das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: all dies berücksichtigend sind Preise um die 240,- die Nacht (auch am FestspielWE - wobei man deshalb überhaupt nicht in der Stadt war) ohne Frühstück für das Gesamtpaket deutlich zu teuer

Sehr gute Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet und durchweg sehr nettes Personal. Zimmer groß, Betten gut und nicht laut am Morgen.

Good stay

Super close to the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Lovely garden Comfortable bed and pillows.

All attractions are quite far. Very small bathroom. Cleaners were laughing and talking loudly in the morning. They kept knocking on my door even though I was checking out that day

Perfect Graduation Get-Away!!

I booked this stay for my 18 year-old and 3 of his friends as a graduation present to them and they had the best time. They shared that the location was beautiful and the facilities were amazing. Thank you for taking care of our boys!

They didn't share anything they did not like. :)

Ruhige und grüne Lage! Freundliches Personal!

Schöne Zimmer und ruhige Lage. Das Bett war bequem und das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang beim Checkin.

Das Bad hat unzugängliche Ecken, welche scheinbar schwierig zu putzen sind. Hier waren noch Krümel von vorherigen Gästen.

Superb

Great room, fabulous breakfast, close to the centre of town. Marick was our first point of contact and he was very helpful, welcoming and charming. The breakfast staff were lovely and we requested extra pillows and assistance with the safe. All the staff we interacted with were very accomodating.

Access to streaming services would be another bonus point.

Coffee in bed! Balcony with view on the gardens. Quiet. Friendly staff. Good bed.

The room is weird shape with lots of hall space, but no real clothes hanging space. No ventilation in toilet. It's quite far from centre, close to main train station, which is good when having train commute, but not v. nice area.

Perfect for a city trip by train and bus.

Spacious room, nice terrace with park view. Good breakfast with very good service. Easy to reach by public transport.

The location itself is nice but the way to and from the train station is obviously not the nicest. Breakfast rates are rather high (but comparable to other accomodations in Salzburg).

Great stay near park

Nice location - less than 10 minutes from train station. Very friendly stuff. Spacious room with beautiful park view. Easy access everywhere with a stroller. Good internet for work and calls. Lovely park right outside the hotel for children to play in the snow, nice restaurant on first floor. Punch in cute christmas mugs in the hallway.

Centralised ventilation in the bathroom. You can’t switch it on/off. Small shower cabin in the bathroom.

Exceptional

The room was spacious and tastefully furnished with balcony overlooking the garden. The hotel is a short walk from the main station, so really convenient, but very quiet.The breakfast was excellent. .
