El desayuno era espectacular, y súper completo, tenía de todo 100 puntos a ese desayuno buffet. Las vistas desde el holl eran impresionantes frente al mar.
La atención de sus comensales excelente

Beautiful view from the room and at breakfast, with a panoramic viewpoint of the lake. Excellent location just on the highway, well suited to travel to all the highlights in and near Mývatn. Very comfortable room with good bed linen and bathrobes and toiletries.
Price is high, but I guess it’s in line with the superior service as compared to other places we stayed in Iceland.

all the staffs are friendly and helpful. great breakfast. great location.
bathroom, basin and shower area is too small.

the location was great, they have a nice sitting area with books and games to enjoy.
we would of loved to have had a longer stay.
my only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower, and not enough lighting in the room.

The hotel was located conveniently at the halfway point of the Snæfellsness Peninsula. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, linen and towels as well as 2-in-1 body wash and shampoo provided. We took the breakfast option and the breakfast was awesome! They also have the option for a picnic take-out which is what we did so that we could eat a lunch later in the day. It's 2 sandwiches, 1 juice and 1 chocolate for $19.
The room was very cold and no matter how many times we adjusted the heating it didn't change. We found out the heating is only in the washroom and you have to keep the door open to get some of the heat to move to the room. So if you pooped the smell would be in your whole room since there is no ventilation in the washroom. This is a bad set up.

clean with great restaurant
Not as great quality as previous Fosshotel chain we stayed at for more expensive
4.0 / 5.0
lighting in the room was poor- there was no reading light over bed.
Also very low water pressure. I was told this was an ongoing problem that the hotel had no control over. however I feel we should have been made aware of this at check in . I actually had to kneel in the shower and hold the shower head in my hand in order to wash my hair! if I raised the shower head the water would not flow.

great location for exploring west iceland. room was clean if spartan.
the nightly rate was of poor value for the quality of hotel room we received.

water pressure is absolutely terrible - couldn’t even wash soap out of the hair when showering.
room stayed cold despite use of the heater

Nice view and location. Comfortable bed. The restaurant staff and food were great. Staff within were also very good.
Expensive for what it is and there is a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms / hallway some people may find off putting.

The room was very spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The room had also a couch and a table which was very useful.
The hotel restaurant had a great view on the sea. The breakfast was rich and very good.
The dinners in the restaurant were good.
The staff (both at the reception and restaurant) were not very friendly / attentive.
The bathroom floor had not been cleaned properly (hair), but this was corrected very fast after a complaint.
In the last night there was a false fire alarm which awoke us at 6 o'clock. There was no explanation or apology given at the check out.

Food was excellent.
The place could have used some maintenance.

very clean, comfortable, and cozy. right on the coast with scenic views. breakfast was simple but nice.
curtains could have been a little more blackout.

Not much on the positive side. Our dinner was ok, the service was friendly.
Our supposedly triple room was small - for almost 300 Euro, breakfast not included. The furnishings are very basic. One electric radiator was out of order. It was very noisy due to the strong winds, but also from the nearby parking and people passing by in front of the entrance door. Reception staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly.
