the view
We paid a rate per night similar to what we have paid in resorts located at Cabo or Cancun. Yet, the bathroom was smelly, the shower was clogged, the room small and noisy (located below the restaurant, you could clearly hear the chairs, steps, laughs and so on until late in the night). The room service: we asked for a cradle three times before they brought it (we had to insist). Food prices are decent, yet the waiter was rude and at the end he did not bring to the room all that we ordered. He simply ignored my requests for the drinks we ordered and never came back to the room. We called the bar and they said they would send the drinks but never came.

Nothing
They promise a bigger room. The room was smaller than a One for the triple price. it was not so clean. The view is not as the pictures. And the staff was no so welcoming and didn’t explain all the facilities and commodities we paid for.

Porton del Cielo has the most beautiful views in all of Patzcúaro. It also has a very cozy vibe with an extremely nice staff. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed there one night in mid-October.
The views, architecture, décor, and landscaping are uniquely beautiful.
The hillside location is private and tranquil with exceptionally beautiful views from the guestroom, dining room, bar, and balconies. The photos on the booking.com website are accurate.
We enjoyed our 30-minute walk up the hill to see sunset from the Estribo Grande, where there's another exceptional view. (The road is cobblestone so wear sensible shoes. Take a flashlight if it's after sunset.) Abundant trees and wild-flowers filled the fields on both sides of the road.
The guestroom was extremely clean; the floor-to-ceiling window-wall was spotless. The bedside reading lights are excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Although there was no heat, it was a very comfortable mid-October sleeping temperature and the bed had appropriate layers of blankets.
The bar has a good selection of wine by the bottle, and adequate wine by the glass. While the bar is extremely comfortable and nicely decorated, we decided to be served out on the balcony where we could enjoy the view of Lake Patzcuaro and surrounding fields and mountains.
We had dinner on out room's balcony and breakfast on the dining room balcony.
We had guacamole as the dinner starter. It was delicious, perfectly seasoned with a lumpy fresh avocado texture. The very generous portion of steamed mixed vegetables that came with the salmon was perfectly cooked with good flavor and texture.
Breakfast was delicious with excellent hot and strong coffee. (I regret that I forgot to ask its brand and origin.) The chocolate lava cake that we had after breakfast was excellent: moist, warm and flavorful
The ceiling lights in the dining room were much too bright. They ruin what could be a comfortable dining experience. Eat dinner out on a balcony.
The food portions are much too large for an adult male with a normal, healthy appetite. It seems the chef aimed to fill the plate instead of providing reasonable, healthy portions.
The dinner's salmon entrée was over-cooked and would have been enough for two people.
Although nicely prepared, the breakfast omelet was too big, too. It may have been a three- or four-egg omelet.

the breakfast was under value, they said breakfast included ( they said good) and it was just continental we pay extra money for a good breakfast
First of all hotel location ,they said it 5***** it was not. the area is really bad insecure maybe they will fix al least the road of the entrance is not enough parking the room was really tiny it wasn't a standar room , the bathroom tiny and the shower ( the water didn't run properly )

It is a hidden place good for love couples and friends get away fun paradise. If you looking for Relaxation and peacefulness this place will take you away from reality.
The town street entrance is simple and rural. However, when you enter the hotel seems like you cross an other place.
