Lovely, friendly and hospitable host family - particularly Ingrid, Cesar and Willy. They made us feel extremely welcome and cared for. They arranged our trip to the nearby ruins of Yaxchilán and Bonampak.
Stunning grounds and facilities.
Extremely peaceful and tranquilo.
Our room smelled a bit damp, which was difficult to get rid of. Otherwise it was perfect.

Really nice property owned by a dedicated family to their estate. It’s beautiful. Natural streams and water running in front of your private cabaña. Near to Bonampak and Yaxchilan. You are in the jungle.

First. It's a working farm in a pretty remote area. And coming all the way from Comitan following the Mexico-Guatemala border this place is a hidden gem. The spacious cabanas are exceptionally well designed and crafted. Very clean! Huge beds. There is a little stream just in front of the terrace with crystal clear water. Yes, there are some things that could be improved, but it is all a matter of expectations. For us, after staying at almost 30 places in Mexico, all that matters is did we feel comfortable and were we happy as a family. And oh yes we were. Host Cesar and his lovely wife are beautiful people. So much passion! Actually you see quite a few people working on the estate, after all it is also a farm. Our teenage daughters loved the horse riding over the fields! Food is good, although limited in choices. The restaurant is being rebuild and it looks like it is going to be great. This resort is probably a project that is never going to be finished. But you can see that what they do, they do it well and with love. Internet is an issue, even for the owners, but they even shared their satellite phones for us to connect to. This is a perfect stop if you going through the biosphere of Montes Azules. It is remote, so not much in the direct surroundings. Not even a larger village to do some groceries.
We highly recommended this place.
Nothing.
Keep up the good work.
Bring cash or pay in advance, although the host is working on a better credit card payment solution.

Loved the room and the unique bathroom. The meals were excellent we had dinner and breakfast, lovely home cooked fresh food. Star gazing in the evening outside the room, beds really comfy and the whole place was just relaxing. A real family feel to the the place, very welcoming.

The hotel is the most charming. It feels like staying with the very welcoming family of Don Willy. The bungalows are very confortable and clean. The garden is enchanting. The food is simple but everything is homemade and tasty. It's also a functionning ranch so you get to see cows, zebus, chickens, horses... Wifi only works in the restaurant area.

Lovely bungalow in picturesque setting. Family were amazing, couldn’t have been kinder and a great help in organising things for us.
We would have preferred a more conventional wash basin in bathroom area with hot water for my husband to shave. Also a shaving mirror would have been good.
