I didn't know that I have to ask for the bed sheets separately. Once I had them all was good. Great place, friendly people, good spirit. Simple, straitforward. As I was there for work I had all I needed. Room was nice, clean and warm. Wifi very fast.
It's off seasion so the bar/Restaurant were closed and there is not much close by.

Overall, the venue and location are great. There's a cafe where you can have breakfast and some snacks, a lot of activities and good proximity to the beaches and the town with shops, cafes and restaurants. Nice to have some privacy, e.g. private bathroom, fridge and sleeping area. There's also a big common kitchen for everyone who wants to cook meals themselves.
There was a huge dent on one of the interior doors inside the apartments as if someone hit it. So, it looked like the previous tenants had a good (or scary) time there. Bed linen and towels are paid extra (read it in supplementary information provided by the hotel after booking, not sure if it was mentioned earlier or not, could be my fault). There's an extra cleaning fee which I haven't noticed before finishing my booking either. That's totally fine but I assume it might affect the overall cleanliness in the venue as many people prefer to clean themselves and not to pay the extra money and unfortunately not everyone cleans after themselves properly.
The night my partner and I stayed there, there was a big group of people, who were very loud, cooking something, playing music outside and enjoying themselves. Luckily it didn't go any further but it might not be the best place if you want to have a quiet evening and relax after a cycling day. At the same time if you'd like to have fun, get to know some people and make acquaintances this is a good place to stay.

ok hostel a bit outside lovely Tisvilde
quite loud group of men living in “our” wing smoking and talking loudly making the kids uneasy, just bad luck that day I guess

Really nice area, with multiple beaches and lovely town.

Location, price.
Cold room, not very clean, uncomfortable pillows

The buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice.
The facilities in the room were very basic. A kettle and paper cups. No cutlery or crockery. Not even a spoon to stir tea/ coffee. Had to rent linen, otherwise no towels or bed linen. No spare rubbish bags. Nothing much in the shop if you need food or drink for self catering. Very poor. No restaurant facilities.

The nature and this is a place for families.
My only comments are the gas burner or gas stoves was suppose to be working and its not working at all. We can't even warm up our food to eat, we dont have a microoven.

Photos are misleading. Ok place for a night but playgrounds are overgrown and old.

-We could do a lot of activities there, we could make a nice fire, have a lovely walk, and everything just 10-15 minutes from the beach. The appartment had a good isolation and it was overall a cosy environment.

The check in and chech out times are very inconvenient.

Very friendly and helpful man at the reception. Good location!
I can't really put my finger on it. We stayed in one of the studios (F05). and it cost the same as our summerhouse per night. So the studio loses. The place has potential, but it is sort of not really there. No proper playground for younger kids and the studios are impossible to use during hot days. Your kids will get fried on the gallery. We should have stayed at the B&B near by where we could have hat two rooms and breakfast for the same price. Next time.
