Wish we could have stayed longer

Well, sometimes when you travel a lot, you come across a (hidden) gem that outshines everything else. The beds were great, the shower was what you hope for, but above all, the eye for detail and the immense generosity of the owners was amazing!

Hard to find anything we didn’t like. One minuscule detail was maybe that the view is nice for 120 degrees but not for the full 180, but please don’t let that stop you from experiencing this very nice and charming place!

Super sted

Vi havde kontakt inden, hvor vi gerne ville ind før. Det var der ingen problemer i. Vi fik en rigtig varm velkomst af Gorm, så vi følte os som en del af familien😍. Værelserne (3 stk) var SÅ smukke og man følte at man lige så godt kunne have sovet ved et familiemedlem, så hyggeligt var der.

Just a very nice room for a solo traveler or couple.

I booked the room with private bathroom, and I must admit it was really nice. Looked like it had been renovated as the bathroom was great, 2 showers, heated floor and very clean. There was also a very nice private outside garden/patio for sitting in, although it was too cold when I was there. The room was very nice!! I only spoke briefly with the owners on arrival and when leaving but they were very hospitable and friendly.

My pillow was too soft, minor grip is all.

Comfortable and Great Overnight Stay

Lovely and comfortable room with probably a big too much bric-a-brac around but quite a cozy room . Owner was a very friendly and helpful person . Comfortable bed with very clean and bright bathroom . Several dinner places within short walking distance . Good breakfast brought to your room in the AM . Bike parking was in back of the home in the open but secure .

Currently they are creating a very nice terrace in front of the room that we stayed in and because of the dust and noise we had to leave the windows closed but this will be a short time project and I’m sure that the end result will be quite nice . The owner was very apologetic and gave us a great bottle of Chardonnay Brut as a peace offering.

Felt very homely. Great beds and view from our room towards Holbæk bay. 5 min walk to center of town with shops and restaurants.

For us, coming from Sweden, we never use cash. It would have been great to be able to pay the “minibar” with another method than cash or danish mobilepay. iZettle for example. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Very nice rooms with comfortable beds, a yummy-yum breakfast, in a very nice location in Holbaek!

The location of the room is very nice, close to the center of Holbaek and close to the sea, and its very nice promenade path. The view from the rooms is amazing. The breakfast is so good, with a large variety of food, the products are of high quality. The hosts are very nice, and we felt very welcome in their rooms.

As above, friendly hosts, clean, comfortable accommodation and wonderful location.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating (we showed up only 15/20 minutes after our booking. The facilities are lovely and very comfortable. The location is beautiful.

There was nothing we didn't like about the whole experience.

Thank you for a great stay! Wonderful atmosphere, good comfy beds, fantastic sea view, lots of small details to make guests feel at home. And a delicious breakfast. This was a perfect stay for a romantic weekend!
