I liked the big bed.
There were hairs everywhere (bed, bathroom), bad smell in the bathroom and no AC (despite it was written in the room decsription), they wanted me to update the room.

Awesome value for money, room was fine. Very knowlegdeable host, ready to arrange all kind of things like transport, renting a scooter and more.

Only location is good.
I'm traveling around Asian countries 1,5 months, and this is the first time I have very poor guesthouse. When I ordered, it was flat TV , wife etc,but I very disappointed, TV not working ( owner told me, is very expensive to repaired) , wife absolutely not working, maybe some time connected 19-15min, plus every 1hour there is no electricity. The biggest crap, In my 1,5 tour around Asian countries.Plus lots off lizards in room, night time full my bed lizards.Avoid this guesthouse.

I asked for a room with a balcony and got confirmation. On arrival no rooms have a balcony. Blanket on bed was dirty. I got a clean sheet instead which was adequate.
Cleanliness in the bathrooms was rock bottom

So affordable! Great value for getting a clean, basic room with a private bathroom and hot water shower in Siem Reap. It's the right distance from the main downtown--still within walking distance but quiet. Getting to Angkor Wat from here is very easy. The host helped me rent a scooter and it was a 20min ride from the hostel to the temples. They have drinking water, fridge space and a a hot water dispenser on the first floor.
The breakfast wasn't worth the money. It was fairly basic and not filling. I found myself wishing it was half the price since I'd gotten full meals for the same price in the same area.

Was none
Wifi
2.5 / 5.0
There was virtually no wifi on the second floor. I asked why and he laughed and said the router is broken. I said 'well I paid for a room with wifi and I have no wifi' I'm sick of hotels charging me for services which they don't provide. it happens in almost every hotel. All they do is shrug and say 'tough'

The owner would fix us up with anything we wanted and places to go, a very good family run hotel, easy walk to the city....

Very quiet and peaceful yet close to the main area. Very helpful staff who let me change bicycles after the one I rented spoilt. Was given a free room upgrade because the one I booked was unavailable. Free drinking water is available so you can reduce plastic waste.
Room interiors look very dated and stained. Would be nice with a little freshening up.

It was in a quiet place in the city
Single room don’t have hot shower
Receptionist doesn’t really care about you in the first place
I complain about the hot water and I had to negotiate with the owner until we decide to change the breakfast for the hot shower instead
So he upgraded my room
