excellent view, high in the hills; very spacious (2 bathrooms, kitchen, good bedroom; street parking nearby; warm; quiet; the negative below (about problems entering) were much outweighed by the pleasant stay

would have been far better for host to message or email me instructions as to how to enter by the morning of the day; we arrived exactly as notified, to find no one there (a late message said that, but too late for me to see); luckily, there was a very helpful neighbour who provided instructions, but the site was complicated (we explored various areas till we found our room door with a key); as host never came while we were there, we had to find another way to pay; use GPS coordinates to locate

The covers and sheets are not cleaned. We were 4 people, but only got 3 sets of quilts, we asked for one set of extra and clean covers and sheets, the staff didn’t bring us. It was Christmas, but still it’s not the reason we were not served.

The view was fantastic and the hotel has many nice facilities including several terraces and a swimming pool

The road to the hotel was quite challenging. It takes a good driver to manage.

To get the best views, you have to go up

The accommodation provides an amazing view of the town of Cefalu. Be ready for a steep ride to the place which becomes more enjoyable every time you do it. The house itself is beautiful, a complicated set of stairs and turns, and plenty of outside sitting spots to have a nice breakfast at. Clean and comfy apartment, quiet surroundings, several cats, and a fully equipped kitchen.

This place is perfect for a cool, peaceful holiday.

Great location, however, you would be advised to get there by car because the hill is steep and long. Facilities were good, we had the use of a roof terrace, a terrace outside the door to the apartment along with table, chairs, loungers and a pool. This place is great and I would be happy with go back there.

Exceptional property, highly recommended

This property was superb, one of the best ever. In terms of design, mod-cons and facilities, a lot of care and attention had clearly gone into it. For example, both balcony doors had retractable mosquito nets, with black out blinds fitted outside, meaning the doors could be closed or opened independently (and were modern glazed doors); coffee machine was great, wet room great, living area and beds all great. Pool was fabulous. This property was immaculate too. An exceptional property, especially in Sicily where standards are not great. Our stay with 3 small kids was a joy.

Check out was early at 10.00 and check in late at 15.00, which is annoying. However, we were offered use of pool and external shower both before check in (on arrival) and on check out which more than made up for this. I would suggest a sweep in the room would assist guests with kids. Drive down to the main road is precarious but the view from the property made it well worth it!

Great and I would go there again to visit Cefalu

Great location. Our apartment was not ready for our arrival at 15.00 but it was not an issue as we could use the pool and just wait 30 min.

The apartment was super with a very nice bathroom and beds. Even a great terrace all private for us. The kitchen was however not well equipped as it was missing vital elements such as a cutting board, a bottle opener and had only one pot. Our host has already made up for these things :o)

If you’re looking for a reprieve from the heat of the city/beach look no further. This place is magical. One of the nicest villas/hotels I’ve stayed in and I lived in Sicily.

A unique place!

We only spent one night at the guesthouse. We would love to stay longer. The rooms are very clean, cozy and homey. The staff was friendly and we were given all the instructions we needed. You can enjoy the communal terrace at the very top and the swimming pool with an amazing view of Cefalù. More than that, each room has a private terrace. I must warn you that the drive up to the guesthouse is not the easiest but if you are already an experienced driver it won't be a problem :) The road is steep and tight but the mirrors were helpful. Highly recommended for lovers of beautiful views!

Quiet, relaxing mountain retreat with stunning views and easy access to Cefalu.

This apartment property has a super location in the mountains above Cefalu and the view is stunning both during the day and at night. Furnishings within the property are basic but provide all that is needed for self catering. There is an outside terrace with dining table and chairs and access to bbq facilities. A swimming pool with spectacular views is shared by people staying in the apartments. We were in text communication with the person who met us at the apartment and gave us the keys. It is a 15 min drive to Cefalu which offers great shopping/dining/beach experience. The mountain location provides a welcome cool breeze and a place to relax in beautiful and quiet surroundings.

Little to criticise - would have been nice to have more fixed electric outlets on the counter top as the current arrangement with an extension lead and multiple sockets makes it tricky to make coffee and toast at same time.
