Bien ubicado, personal amable, habitación amplia, comoda.
Es un hotel que por cambio de administración, eso nos dijeron, no hay servicio de comedor para almorzar y cenar, no hay toallas limpias suficientes, estaban lavándose, la piscina un poco sucia porque están pintando el hotel, se me hizo elevado el costo y no tener todos los servicios que ofrecen

Quaint building. Exceptional staff, often meeting our needs without being asked. Clean & neat. Basic rooms but good value. One minute walk to beach & about 10 minute walk to the malecon. We booked for 3 nights & stayed for 9! Nice bathrooms at the pool area.

Bien para relajarse y descansar, el desayuno estuvo muy rico y puedes desayunar a un costado de la alberca Vigilando a tus hijos.
Un poco alejado del malecón, nada que no se pueda caminar, pero si estás cansado, en comparación con otras estancias si queda un poco retirado.

The house is beautiful with a great location.
La casa está en muy malas condiciones. La puerta del cuarto hace un ruido muy fuerte toda la noche debido al viento que entra por el vestíbulo (tuve que dormir con la puerta abierta detenida con una silla y una toalla) La puerta del baño tampoco se podía cerrar y toda la noche estuvo golpeando. La puerta de la regadera tampoco cerraba bien y las bisagras y la jaladera estaban muy sucias (un aspecto bastante desagradable). La poca agua del lavabo salía toda dispareja y para todos lados. Las paredes de la habitación despostilladas en algunas partes. Nunca nos dijeron que el desayuno estaba incluido. La alberca estaba sin limpiar llena de hojas, la limpiaron cuando nos vieron con los niños jugando en las escalerita de la orilla. El bar o snack de la alberca estaba sin funcionar, sin servicio y con todas las sillas recogidas. En general, en nuestra opinión,el hotel deja mucho que desear y la tarifa no corresponde a lo que se ofrece.

The property is clean and reasonably located 10 min from the malecon. The rooms are big and good ac. Very plain
No one seems to really care if you request something. We don’t speak Spanish (which we should learn) so seems like a real barrier. We left and found a studio downtown for half the price.

Hubo olor desagradable a cañería, las ventanas y puertas hacían mucho ruido, y por el precio mínimo esperaba una botella de agua en las habitaciones, el personal poco servicial y la alberca sucia

Die Lage ist gut, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.
- Die guten Rezessionen, welche uns bewegt haben dieses Hotel auszusuchen, konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen
- Die Fotos in booking schmeicheln dem tatsächlichen Zustand. Ausser der Frontfassade (Schokoladenseite für Werbefoto), lässt die Aussenhülle zu wünschen übrig. 100 Jahre sind halt zu spüren und zu sehen
- Unser Zimmer befand sich im EG (!!!), direkt neben dem Eingang
- Beim betreten des Zimmers roch es muffig, alt (lüften bevor Gäste eintreffen wäre angesagt). Wir haben diesen Duft auch mit lüften und der Klimaanlage nur schwer bis gar nicht rausgebracht.
- Die (dünne) Holztüre konnte den Ganglärm nicht abhalten.
- Auf die Gesellschaft von einem Haartrockner mussten wir verzichten.
- Die Klospühlung schaffte es nicht, den Spühlkasten nachzufüllen und stellte nicht ab. Unsere Reklamation wurde zwar sofort bearbeitet, jedoch funktionierte das Ganze nur bis zum nächsten Tag
- Ein Frühstücksbuffet wurde nicht angeboten. Es konnte von einer Menükarte individuell ausgewählt werden. Wir bezahlten für eine Omlette und einen schlechten Café 13 Dollar pro Person(!). Auf eine weitere Budgetbelastung haben wir verzichtet.
FAZIT: Wir werden aus all diesen Punkten von einer Empfehlung absehen

La tranquilidad, por estar retirado del malecon y del bullicio de la zona comercial
1°Que te publican que está en la primera línea de playa, lo que a mi parecer no es cierto, ya que como tal la playa está como mínimo a 7 calles,
2° que si estás contratando el servicio de habitación por "x" número de personas, lo adecuado es que te den las toallas para ese número de personas y no que te digan que no se puede

Edificio y su estilo.
El hotel necesita un poco más de mantenimiento, la habitación que nos toco tenía los muros en mal estado y tenía olor de humedad.
Agua del lavado del baño salía mal se le tenía que dar mantenimiento.
Se tendría que trabajar en checar el estatus de habitación antes de su entrega.

La ubicacion y la atencion es excelente, muy confortable, lo recomiendo y en relacion calidad y precio es una muy buena opcion a pocos pasos de la playa, como sugerencia yo incluiria el desayuno.

The building was beautiful. Location was good. The room was very clean. The shower had great pressure. The ac worked very well.
The bedrooms lacked character and were clean but very spartan, no decor. The staff were weird and inattentive. we had to ask for a coffee, and breakfast was never offered. They did not engage us.

The building was beautiful, food and service excellent. close to the beach and a fun bar-restaurant across the street on the beach. walking distance to the Malecon with all of the shops and fun. Netflix was my sons favorite part of the hotel after no TV at the others. Safe parking and pretty pool.
The bathroom shower entrance flooded a bit and none of the rooms faced the ocean.

Very kind staff, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet location about 15 min walk to the malecon. Felt very secure.
Keep your expectations in check: this is a very low key and moderate inn located in an old mansion, maybe comparable to a pension in Europe. Note there are 2 floors and no elevator. Good air con in the room and reliable hot water in the shower. There is access to the Gulf of Mexico across the street, the water is clean and warm for swimming: water shoes are recommended.

Beautiful mansion converted to hotel. It is located in a quiet area and steps from the beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating
The mattress was a bit soft for my liking but the bed and bathroom linens were new and changed regularly.

Very friendly welcome, large room with good AC, good bed. Good and fast privat clothes service/washing. Good price/service relation. Free coffee during the day. Nice and clean pool. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach just over the street
Employees do need much more training in the breakfast service. Breakfast in general could be much improved.
Too little beverage offer in the evening. No wines available, just beer.

The tall ceilings and tall windows. Hot water was good
They are not "Jr. Suites." Basic hotel room with ONE Outlet. Literally. Internet was useless. No dinner served, so forced to walk in the rain to get some food. For breakfast, I sat in the dining room for 20 minutes, no one came. It's like they've given up. It's a shame. This could be a really good hotel. Great bones, no management is my guess

Good location to visit Progreso and coastal towns
The facilities are functional but really basic and aged. The breakfast included of coffee, fruits and toast could not be less.

Beautiful property and nice pool, super close to the beach.
Our bathroom had a bad smell and we could hear everything outside of our room in the hallways.
