close to the beach, the staff was efficient, and although we had to ask sometimes, we had most of what we needed. The staff were straightforward and I noticed they didn't take any guff from unruly customers, this made me feel safer and more secure.
It would have been nice to have utensils in the kitchenette and coffee mugs if we borrowed the coffee maker.

Right on the boardwalk, room with a balcony over the pool. Small fridge and microwave.
The shower leaked water over the entire bathroom floor. The space is tiny, there is no where to put your things except in a line along the floor, making it very uncomfortable. When I called to ask if they had a room, the said there was absolutely no vacancy, but I was able to book on booking.com after hanging up the phone, and the place seemed to have all their rooms available. It was so weird that the staff seemed like they didn't really want us there, so much so that when I called, she refused to book me, making me have to bypass her with the website.

Location is great. Everything else is very basic. Air conditioner didn't work. I had to ask help to fix the toilet.
Very basic and hardly comfortable

The location is amazing. You walk out of the hotel, cross the malecón, and you're right on the beach! The hotel is perfectly located among many restaurant options, too. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is even a little convenience store inside the hotel that has drinks, snacks, and other essentials. The pool is clean, quiet, and a short walk from all rooms. The room was spacious, the balcony was amazing, and the small kitchen and dining area were useful. The room was much bigger than I expected!
The cold water pressure was disappointing, but the hot water pressure was good. This made for showers that were either too hot or too cold with bad water pressure. There really was no good balance, but it was just a minor inconvenience. Taking a little longer in the shower wasn't a big deal. I did not like that you have to trade your driver's license or passport for more towels while using the pool. I understand theft is always a possibility, but I should not have to give anyone my ID just to have some towels for the pool, especially at a hotel that I'm paying to stay at. Finally, the WiFi does work for sending emails and WhatsApp messages, but almost everything else is blocked. This would have been nice to know before I booked the hotel. What if I was counting on the hotel's WiFi? Luckily, I had unlimited mobile data on my phone that helped me to get by. This WiFi restriction should be disclosed up front. I want to emphasize that I really did enjoy my stay at this hotel, and I will definitely be coming back! The pros heavily outweigh the cons.

Good location, staff was friendly and helpful, small pool was a nice addition....good water pressure and lots of hot water for the shower.
Only 2 pool chairs...a few more would be nice.
No hand towel provided at the bathroom sink; Only bath towels.
No silverware, paper towels or anything but plates and drinking glasses in the kitchenette.

Booking .com ripped us off and .charged us 300 dollars to make this booking. Never use them again

The location was fantastic. Right on the beach and near many restaurants.
The balcony area was nice and the staff was very helpful and professional.
The beds were a little hard and the kitchen area did not have any utensils (not one fork, spoon or knife) only a few plates and glasses.

The view is amazing, the staff was superb!
Room too small and few kitchen appliances
2.0
Toilet actually flushed well. Plenty of hot water.
Ugly room. No view. Water from sink splashed all over the place. Noisy neighbors. Road and sidewalk under construction. Nothing but dirt.
4.5
Good location beach /ocean view.
Construction in front of hotel. It will probably be sone in a few months.
3.5
Spacious rooms, and there is a pool in the property.
The road(malecon) is under construction and also the noise at night from other customers was so loud up until 2 am, and there is no elevator so if you stay on the top floor...good luck walking up with all your belongings

The place is clean and the location is perfect. The room was huge! We had an appartment with kitchen. The staff is very nice and helpful. Very close to many restaurant, the pier and the local market.
We had two problems while our stay. First, the internet was working sometime, when it was working it was fast, but it was working half the day at most, always disconnecting. Not reliable if you work while traveling. The other problem was that one day some other guests were putting very VERY loud electronic music by the pool and it was unsupportable. We had to go several time to the reception desk to ask to do something about it. It took 7 hours before they decide to do something.
Apparently the hotel staff was not able to call us a cab at check out, so we had to figure out ourself how to get to the bus station. There are no taxi running in the street near the hotel.
Not their fault, but note that at the moment of our stay, there were heavy road construction in front of the hotel.

Awesome location, probably one of the best beach views in Progreso, great value and good room. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Probably one of the best hotels in México I have stayed at. Plus the best water pressure in shower so far during my three months stay in the country.
Getting a plastic bracelet around your wrist when staying in the hotel (for ID) just feels really wrong. I have never, across the world encountered that. Please stop it. People going for a beach vacation don't want tan lines. It feels like I am at a cheap festival.
Kitchen area is great. BIG fridge which is a plus. However missing some (any at all) cutlery in the kitchen. I personally didn't need it, but why a big empty kitchen area?
The glass on the balcony. It is both a plus and a minus. Plus is the unbroken view for sure. I love it and get the idea.
Minus is that it's not secured properly. Some of them are a bit loose and moves. Would I trip and fall against it I wouldn't count on it to keep me. Please have them looked at and secured properly. Probably not only room 14 but all rooms.

Loved the air conditioning, wouldn't have survived without it. Location was great, right along the Malecón with lots of restaurants nearby. Balcony facing the pool was nice to sit out and relax on. The pool itself was nice, some people say it's too cold but as a Canadian it was perfectly fine for me and the coolness was more than welcome when the temperatures were in the high 30s. Room was nice and big. Beds were comfortable. Shower had good pressure. I liked that the sink was outside of the washroom so one of us could get ready while the other was showering or using the toilet.
The sheets had some small stains on them one night. We could tell they had been washed but it just wasn't a great look. Also, the part of the Malecón directly in front of the hotel was under construction while we were there. Obviously not the hotel's fault so I'm not taking points off my rating because of that, but it might be worthwhile to check and see if the construction is still happening before booking as it was muddy and gravelly and sometimes noisy. There was even one morning we were awoken by a steamroller that was causing the entire building to vibrate.

Clean spacious room. Very quiet. Excellent service and friendly accommodating staff!

It was an excellent location on the malecón. Unfortunately, there is construction going on right now, but it did not negatively impact our stay. We just needed help getting our luggage in and out of the hotel. The swimming pool was wonderful and they kept the whole hotel very clean. I’d stay there again.

Great service and lolalization in front of the beach. Good internet, nice and clean swimming pool.
All was good

The view from the balcony was fabulous .
There were only sheets on the bed, no blankets. Even though it is hot here I like to have a blanket.

location is fabulous…the room was large with a separate bedroom area and a kitchenette…staff was lovely…for the price it is a win!

Excellent value.
I would highly recommend.
Nothing.

good location I guess
it didn’t reach our expectations in anything. one of the reasons we chose this place was for the gym, which they filled up with mattresses on our first day and then told us the gym was now out of function. we tried to just move some weights outside so we could still train but they told us that we weren’t allowed and they had no idea when the beds will be moved. ( they never moved them during our 4 nights stay) The kitchen is not at all as promised, which was the reason why we chose the suite instead of a regular room, it has nothing in it only a microwave and a fridge. No cooking possibilities or cutlery/kitchen tools. the nice balcony with the view that you see on the pictures is also not accurate since we got a tiny balcony that was facing into another rooms wall…
the staff didn’t even try to fix any of these issues and treated us very poorly during our entire stay.
2.5
The location was excellent. The staff was pretty friendly. They kept everything clean.
Walls are very thin so you hear everything. Room didn’t get very dark due to thin curtains. AC could not change settings and was in a very inconvenient space.
3.0
Great location on the malecon, large suite with kitchenette.
Room cleanliness was not great, bedding cheap and uncomfortable, humid.
2.5
We booked a suite and paid extra for a kitchen. When we arrived there was 4 glasses but no coffee pot, mugs or cutlery, etc. Happily they provided a coffee pot, 2 mugs and 2 spoons. that was it. it was not the friendliest place but we enjoyed the beach view.
