the room was right above a bar which wasn’t advertised until it was booked but which was so loud right until gone 4am so myself and fam got zero sleep? toilet room had no lock or catch on door so couldn’t lock it?

If you have any standard avoid avoid avoid.

Location was the only plus of this property.

Before I booked this accommodation I called the property and enquired about the car park. The call taker stated that the car park was included. When we arrived I was told that you had to prebook and pay extra. We were told that there were no spaces. We paid £200 for a night in the back alley room, next to the smoking yard, without the bathroom or any other basics. There were other people mis/sold also. Staff informed us there was a cash payment only as they had no internet. There were passed out/drunk people sleeping in the ‘bar lounge’ which we had to pass on the way to our bedroom. The property was dirty, cluttered and noisy. I was speechless how could you charge £200 for such a dumb? We couldn't cancel as it was non-refundable and they had already taken money from my account.

Nice comfy room

Sensor light and fan in bathroom stayed on a lot even with the door closed. Wiping the sensor with a towel made it go off properly. Sensitivity needs adjusting.

We will certainly come back!

Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable, though it was small for three people with luggage. The pub located on the ground floor was great and all the staff were lovely and helpful. We had full English breakfast every morning and lunch once. It was easy to reach Sheffield centre with a tram-train from Attercliffe stop or Arena stop just a 6 minute walk from the hotel. We all fell in love with Stella ...a friendly dog living at the pub!

Everything was fine.

Drunk employees

I didn't like my experience at your hotel at all. I do not recommend.

First of all it's hard to find this place. The entrance is through a dirty, stinky pub with drunk employees. It wasn't mentioned that it was a part of a pub. I expected a hotel. I specifically don't recommend it to people with families or single people for safety reasons. I didn't spend the night there after online reservation because I didn't feel safe there. Now I know why there is no refunds. If there were refunds they wouldn't make any money from the rooms. Because of them I had to find another hot and I had to pay twice in the result. I don't recommend

terrible and threatening.

I was disrespected at the entrance. They accused of not paying. After I showed them email invoice. I was nervous and scared. They were shouting at me. They keep saying show me your banking details. The guy at the reception took my ID violently. He didn't return it until I got to the room.

Okay hotel but staff in cafe could do with customer service training !

Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Owner had to call me and was very nice and polite.

No glasses for water in room, very basic facilities. The service in the cafe was awful. Lady was rude and made us feel bad for going to the cafe as directed through the hotel and waiting 10 minutes for service as we hadn't gone through the front door which would of rang a bell and notified her of customers in there! Like we was to know this. She then took the order and walked off, drinks then took ages to come. Very lacking in customer service!

Adequate for what I needed but won’t be returning

Comfy bed, or maybe I was just that tired I just made do. Quiet room but have have helped I’m deaf

Bathroom was dirty. Didn’t have a shower as it was grubby and walls had mould. Glad I was only using the room as a bed for the night. I asked in advanced about breakfast and got no response. Also when I was leaving, there was dirty empty glasses and bottles in the pub area downstairs. Clearly no care given by the staff member(s) on shift last night and either joining in for a drink with the customers or racing to get home so couldn’t be bothered to clear up. As a GM at a pub I would be outraged if my staff left it like that. Totally disrespectful.

Very Highly Recommended

Location is on a bus route approximately ten minutes from Sheffield city centre. Bus number 9 stops across from the hotel ask for Zion Lane just after the fish and chip shop. Going into Sheffield the bus stop is right outside the hotel but check the times a list is on the bus stop. There are other buses that operate along the same route but at different bus stops. The hotel super clean with paid breakfast and light meals. The room I had was really good very clean and spacious. The hotel had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and I shall be returning. Thank you to all staff and management for a enjoyable stay.

Great value, exceptionally friendly. I hope to return.

The welcome from Kelly was friendly. She showed me to my room and explained the security fobs. She also sold me a breakfast token and explained how the system works with the cafe next door via the internal door. The television is very complex but I found my way through the options so that I could watch my favourite programmes. I had a late pint in the bar which was very busy even approaching midnight. The locals were keen to make conversation.

Directions from the local tram stop using Google Maps were unclear, so I arrived via the long way round. After trying the round using Bodmin Road and a couple of linking footpaths, a 20 minute walk became am easy 10 minute stroll. Beware of the guard dogs in the yard along Bodmin Road.

Friendly helpful staff to give a warm welcome on arrival. Beds very comfortable..had an amazing sleep. Large smart TV in room Excellent value

Awful. Its a run down, poorly kept pub that plays loud music till early hours, not a hotel. AVOID unless you want to be

The fact that this pub don’t advertise that they will be playing music till the early ours and don’t care that you won’t be able to sleep is disgusting. The noise is just unacceptable! Its run down, poorly kept and the staff kept us waiting 10 minutes while they pulled pints.

Flush briefly stopped working. Shower Water not hot enough. Not many vegetarian options. Seems understaffed. Only one person at the reception handling the clients and the bar. Not too many other restaurants around.

Decent bar, good friendly staff, tasty bar snacks. Tip top twin room,very clean.. Met some random locals but really good to here there stories and get to know other ways of life.. All in all it were a great stay..

Racist staff they made me pay for my booking and then when they saw we are Roma they didn’t let us in and was making things up . I am definitely not impressed by this hotel I will never go here again and no one should . But I do recommend Spacesavers great staff comfortable beds very nice .
