Beautiful cozy cottage with a lovely view of the ocean.
We would have liked to have internet access in the cottage.

The owner of the cottage is pleasant and easy to work with. The cottage is lovely, spacious, clean, and well equipped. It's very homey feeling. I love cooking and had no lack of items necessary to prepare lovely meals. The fridge is large enough that you can make 1 weekly run to the grocer and be set. The view is really nice and enjoyable each morning from the picnic table out front. It's the first driveway on the narrow road, which helps for those intimidated by one lane roads, and the ones leading up to it are all two-lanes and passable at the posted speeds. The drive to Waterside Cottage along the Wild Atlantic Way offers spectacular vistas as well. The nearest pub is renowned for serving the cheapest pint of Guinness and is full of friendly people.
If you're looking for a lovely place to disconnect from the pace of daily life and enjoy time together reading, hiking, swimming, bicycling, playing board games, or cards.. this place is a charming respite. I highly recommend it.
It's in a cellular dead spot for Three.ie service, so we had no way to be reached in case of emergency back home, which with ailing parents is a concern. However, this is no fault of the owner at all. I'm just commenting on it here so that others can plan accordingly.

Excellent location with lovely views. Quiet and relaxing. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. Very helpful host.
Local hotel restaurants closed or not taking bookings for non-residents due to staff shortages. Tumble drier not working - was needed for towels after swimming as rained at night.

If you want to feel relaxed, comfortable and peaceful, this is the place for you.It is away from everything but just 15-30 minutes away from little stores or town. We felt like we were in Paradise. Breege was so kind and made herself available for anything, including dropping off homemade scones. Thank you!!
The only down fall is there is no wifi

Great quiet location with a fantastic view. Everything we needed was in the cottage. The owner was available for requests, but we found everything we needed and did not have any.
Not a problem for me but it is better to know in advance that there is no mobile coverage with Eir in and around the cottage. (Vodafone was ok)

We particularly appreciated the position and the helpfulness of the owner.
Beds were too hard for me and some furniture and linens were of poor quality.
