We were given water when we arrived. The accommodation is at the top of a large hill. If you cannot pull your luggage, it would be wise to arrange baggage shuttle to assist. Accommodation is on a quiet part at the top of Via Colombo, the main street, as most restaurants and shops are toward the other end. Bathroom with all amenities, mini fridge and kettle with mugs were provided though we did not use the kettle.
Winding staircase up to the rooms is difficult with large luggage. If you did not book the room with terrace, you do not have access to it as it extends from room 3. The air conditioning did not seem to cool the room quickly or past a certain temperature, which was difficult on the 30+ degree days during the heat wave. A fan in the room would have been welcome. Items required in the room didn’t seem to be accessible - toilet paper provided every 2 days when room is cleaned, and no tissues were provided in the room, so had to plan accordingly. There was one small garbage bin in the bathroom, but another garbage in the room would have been great for larger items. Otherwise, you can bring your larger garbage items down to the reception area to sort, though these bins were also small. If you need pegs to hang clothing, you must ask reception but only when they are present in the office (seemed to be morning only) as they are not provided in your room. More hangers within the bathroom would have assisted with drying, as we often had towels, clothing or wet beachwear that we had no suitable place to hang (drying rack in bathroom was rusted and did not seem to be functional). The room had a warning letting patrons know not to leave food out as it attracts ants. We did not have food and still found many ants crawling in our room. We brought it up to reception who said it was from the terrace above our room, but we were not given anything to help rid them or clean them up.

Location was awesome and a cessible to all. The area is amazing.
There were a few things that were not ideal. The rooms faced on the main road that goes down the hill to the coast. Trucks drop off supplies starting at 5 am and roar by the window. Close the windows you say? Yes, if the AC worked. But it does not. With 30+ degree days there is no reprieve from the heat. A stand up fan in rooms would all but solve this issue. The fridges in the room were too small for much more than a few small bottles of water. The only other concern was the front door to the road. You need a key to lock it going in or out. The issue is that if ever there were an emergency, if you didn't have the key you couldn't get out. This must be changed.

It was well-located in the area. It is up a steep hill and then has a spiral staircase inside, so large luggage isn't well-suited for check-in and check-out.
It would be easier to access with a backpack or smaller/lighter rolling luggage than what we had.

It is a lovely little apartment with a kitchenette, extra toilet and bathroom and a big rooftop terrace. The location is very good. Right in the center but a bit further away from the busy area. Edi the manager (owner?) was very lovely and supportive. The place was super clean. We had a lovely time there and would be happy to book it again.
The address to pick up the key was wrong and it took me a while to get the key. Luckily the staff in the shop was very helpful and called Edi to meet me.

The location of the property is difficult to get to but the manger met us and was exceptionally helpful with getting us there. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.
The air conditioning was not working so it was a little warm. There are only three rooms all up a very tight winding staircase, which is to be expected in such a hilly region.

Great hotel for the price. It’s near the top of the Main Street so it’s a little bit of an uphill walk, but the room was clean, good size, and comfy.
The location is wrong on google so it was hard to find. It’s on the Main Street just a block farther up than where it shows

We chose the room with the terrace and booked it last minute that morning from the train station. We called the property managers and they came within 10 minutes to check us in. The room was spacious for 2 people, and spotless, with a good sized bathroom. It is a studio with a little kitchenette (stove top, fridge, toaster oven, kettle). The terrace had a beautiful view of the town’s Main Street and if you turn your head you can see the ocean.
Nothing— we thought everything was lovely and typical for places you would rent in the smaller of the 5 towns. Any negative reviews we read did not really apply for a studio apartment at the top of a hill in Cinque terra. if you want a place with an elevator and less quaint, pick a hotel in a bigger town.

Super central location, great beds, mini fridge and kettle in the room, soft towels available and easy entrance with hotel card.
Water pressure was low and a very small room.

The room was great and the hotel manager was very friendly. Location was nice as well. The room and bathroom were spacious and had lots of charming elements throughout. It was a really pleasant experience.
The only complaint I have is that the last hotel employee to leave accidentally locked the main hotel door improperly before they left, so all guests were locked in. I had to call a neighboring hotel to get them to call the hotel owner to get the manager to come back and open the door. No one was answering the emergency numbers in the hotel's binder, so the only thing I could think of was to call the hotel next door. That worked, thankfully.
The manager was very apologetic, and I understand mistakes happen. It was a simple mistake. The door has two locking options - one where egress is still allowed, and one where both egress and ingress are blocked. Please make sure egress is always allowed! It ended up being solved very quickly, but it could have been a real problem if we could not have reached someone.

We loved the location, the terrace was one of the best parts. we used it every night!
The only thing that we could think of (just to put something here) would be if they had wine glasses. They did have plastic cups in the room and other glasses though.

The property is in a great location, very central to all restaurants and shops! The design of the room is very very nice and comfortable! Loved our stay!

Excellent location, restaurants and bars nearby; train station 5-10 min walk. Room as small but nice. Coffee-tea maker in room.
Typically tiny shower, but hot water was fine; and also typical for area, steep and narrow stairs. No reception, small inn, but with phone call attendant was there in 5 min. or less. In general it was a good value for the area.

The location is very nice, rooms very well kept. nice spatious bathroon. The manager was very helpful and friendly. One of the rooms has a nice roof terrace
Not anything I would improve, but to take into consideration: steep staircase. Also, I would add a coffee machine.

The hotel was right on the Main Street next to all activities. The room was clean and appealing. I would definitely stay there again

Location was awesome! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Beautiful room and town!

The room was very nice, clean and tidy with a cute design. The host was very accommodating, we needed an early check-in and it was no problem.
The room is on the Main Street so it’s a bit loud in the evening with all the restaurants downstairs. Also there’s a church that rings a bell every so often, so it’s also quite loud.

The position was great, in the main street of Riomaggiore, close to everything but far enough from restaurants and bars to not be noisy at night.
The room was very nice, recently renovated and clean.
Bathroom was also very nice, with a big shower.
The bed was a bit small (my boyfriend is 1.90 m and it was really short for him) and not so comfortable (two small single beds next to each other).
The fridge wasn't really working.
There was a small boiler in the room but no teabag was provided, so the boiler was a bit useless.
2.0
It’s not an hotel but a bed and breakfast where breakfast is not included.
No contact whatsoever with the host (only communication via email and to handle payment without even asking how our stay was)
Location super central in the Main Street which makes it extremely noisy at night and in the early morning.
Super expensive for what you will get.
3.1
Proximity
Moving luggage up tight stairwell, charge of 10euros to get assistance
