Very central, very nice old school hotel with a really good spa and pool inside. Valet service, a great and huge comfortable bed. Most staff exceptionally friendly. Good airco for those needing refreshment from the heath during the Summer months. Room service punctual and good. Amazing views across the Umbrian valley should your room face that way.
Not much. There was one really unfriendly guy who arranged and was in charge of breakfast. Other people who stayed at the hotel told me about him. But let that not stop you, the other people serving breakfast made up for it.

It was in a great location. Close to everything, without being directly in the city. The hotel was lovely, old world charm. The room was a bit small, but comfortable, bathroom was great with a double vanity. Great continental breakfast, so if you book and like to have breakfast every morning, definitely worth it! The pool downstairs on the lower level was absolutely amazing. Wish we could have had spa services there. It would be the perfect place to get a massage, then enjoy the sauna and pool.
The front desk staff weren’t friendly and sometimes not helpful at all. The only front desk member that was always helpful and friendly was Andrei. The bed was so hard my back hurt . Pillows were also hard and uncomfortable. I requested an iron, which I was told is not available for use, however they could press my items for me, which I had then do for $32 euros. (Two men’s shirts, one pair of shorts, and two short sleeve blouses) a bit steep in my opinion, considering the items were pressed prior to packing and just needed touching up.

We had a relaxing stay - staff were welcoming and helpful and location was close to all the main attractions. Our room had great views of the surrounding area. The toiletries in the room smell very nice and the indoor swimming pool was well maintained. The breakfast also afforded a good selection of food.
We happened to visit the pool at a time when the steam room and sauna were not in use so you may wish to check with reception before you swim if you wish to use these but it wasn't a big problem for us - I think it was because we visited the facilities later in the day.

Excellent location in the very centre of Perugia. The staff were an absolute delight and they had a team morale rarely experienced.
Nothing to dislike but it is a pity that patio areas on each floor were not equipped with outside seating to use for relaxation.

Large, spacious room. Close to scenic old town.
Furnishings and decor could be more updated.

ambiance
amenities were ok in the room. no up close make up mirror. charged for items in fridge. other places I stayed did not.

Excellent service from porters to restaurant/breakfast staff. Traditional decorations with style and atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool in the basement. Our room was very comfortable.
The shower was over the bath but unfortunately the bath wasn't suitable or strong enough. It felt very movable and unstable when standing on it and the sides were very high which made it dangerous to step out of.

A nicely spacious room in a stunning location.
The views from the room are worth the price alone.
Wifi connection was woeful, made it very difficult to get any work done !

location is the best. The hotel is at ZTL the limited traffic zone yet it is located in a place where you can easily access by car without any obstacle (such as bars) because public buses even pass by that area. (And hotel is reporting to the authority that we are their guests so we don’t get the fine. They even parked our car and brought it back to us only with fee that we pay to the hotel per night, no extra charge! ) From the hotel, we can walk to any places almost flat. I saw some escalators or elevators coming up but it doesn’t reach to the top if we opted to stay down the old town. I’m sure it was so inconvenient for us just to visit the old town. Perugia old town is not big, but surrounding medieval houses stretches wide so that it would be hard to go up by foot even you take minimetro or escalators. The best other option can be bus which stops at this hotel area. But to me, facility was really super good, and staff were all very professional, and I’d come back to this hotel if I come to Perugia again.
I loved their spa. it was free when we stayed there and no one was using it. I felt so relaxed!

Dear Management.
There was no shower mat in my bathroom and I very nearly had a fall and because I have
severe arthritis in my right hip this could have caused me a serious injury. So please install shower mats
for better comfort, because I wish to stay in your gorgeous hotel again.
Thank you

The location was ideal and our junior suite had great views. The breakfast was good.
The hotel needs major refurbishment. Many of the public rooms on the ground floor-the bar, lounge, music room etc were either closed or entirely unused. Dining during the summer is moved to a nice but functional glass box style terrace located in front of the hotel which might be fine when the weather is good but there was no option to eat inside when it was raining. The coridors, staircases etc all need major refurbishment and redecoration. A rather nice old piano was unplayable as it had keys missing etc.

We were given an upgrade in our room to a suite as we were celebrating our silver wedding. We didn't expect this and were extremely grateful. We had a fantastic stay and actually ate at the hotel far more than we expected to. Huge thank you to the staff who were very attentive.
Nothing.

The location, the view, the ambiance. magnificent
The bathroom, and especially the bathtub really needs some work.

excellent location and our room had the most amazing view overlooking the mountain. We were in a deluxe double room. some friends also staying at the hotel didn’t have as great a view and rooms varied quite a lot in terms of being updated/outdated in decor.
our room was cleaned twice on the day of our friends wedding and as it got quite messy during several of us getting ready it was nice to come home late that night to clean room.
the pool.
bathrooms quite outdated. for a five star and for the price you pay I would have expected newer features.
also sometimes the electric room key wouldn’t work and you would have to try it multiple times before getting in.

The location is great. We were there during the jazz festival, and it was in the middle of the 3 stages.
Air conditioning couldn't be controlled.
