Sea and City - on the beach!
Stunning luxurious first line property for both beach escape and city visits; with unequalled views and location, on the beach at Blundellsands, (situated between Liverpool & Southport) offering unrivalled sea views from every room; Anthony Gormley statues 'Another Place' (the Iron Men who can be viewed from within house!) Sea views also encompass the Wirral peninsular and Welsh Hills beyond. Direct access onto expansive sandy beach, promenade, sand dunes and also offers lovely coastal walks and cycle routes. Easy walking distance to Crosby & Blundellsands station (less than 5 minutes) and a 15 minutes train journey to Liverpool or 20 minutes to Southport.

This large open plan property is a luxurious throughout with an extremely large open plan luxury kitchen with marble topped island, overlooking the sea; bedrooms all with en-suite designer bathrooms, a tasteful interior giving a feel of a New England beach house. White and cream throughout, it exudes an air of calm and tranquility that enhances the stunning views from all of the rooms. With plantation shutters, cream limestone floor, marble topped kitchen island and worktops, underfloor heating and intelligent lighting system - it has a contemporary feel. The log burning stove provides a cozy retreat when the weather changes over the sea. It has 3 double bedrooms (one extremely large Master bedroom) all ensuite with the highest quality bathrooms. It also has an additional bathroom on the ground floor. A flat screen television and internet access are provided. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped and laundry facilities are also available. At the rear of the property there is a charming courtyard and gated entrance providing complete privacy. Off road parking (including a garage with an electric up and over door) is available for up to three cars. One in the garage, 1 or 2 in the courtyard.

You’ll love its superb beach location and the extensive private garden, almost the size of a football pitch, fronting onto the beach, where you can sit in privacy watching the stunning sunsets or the ships travelling up and down the estuary. You will enjoy the beautiful coastal walks and cycle routes and feel as though you are miles from anywhere, yet you are a short distance from the vibrant city of Liverpool with its maritime history, Liverpool One shopping centre and The Beatles Experience. Liverpool has more museums, theatres and galleries than any other UK city outside of London so prepare for a cultural experience. Rough Guide to the Planet states it is the 3rd best city to visit in the world!

West Lancashire, Formby Hall, Formby, and Royal Birkdale Golf Clubs are all close by; with West Lancashire being a 10 minute walk and the others no more than 20 minutes by car. Aintree Racecourse, home of the world famous Grand National is also a 15 minute car journey away.

It is a perfect base for visiting a wide range of places with the M57 motorway only 6 miles away - convenient for many destinations throughout the country including the Lake District, North Wales, Chester, Manchester, and Yorkshire.

Southport: 25 minutes by train - lovely Victorian/Edwardian holiday resort, with shops and promenade.

Chester: Roman City with beautiful historic buildings only 45 minutes by car and can also be reached by train in just over 1 hour

North Wales: To be in the heart of North Wales you would need to drive approx 50 miles and it will take around 1 hour.

Lake District: 1.5 hours by car and you will be in the heart of the Lake District

More locally, we are close to Crosby and Waterloo where you will find a wide range of restaurants and wine bars (both areas within a 5 minute drive)

The Beach House is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and groups. Families are also welcome but reminded that the cream carpets and furnishings require careful use.

Blundellsands is close to Crosby - a lovely leafy suburb just 6/7 miles from Liverpool City Centre and only a 15 minute taxi drive away from the city and main attractions. The white sandy beach is a key attraction with Anthony Gormley's 'Another Place' visible from all the rooms in house.

This area has a wide range of restaurants within walking distance (10 minutes walk away) and is the property is in a very quiet residential area - you will hardly hear a car when you sit in the garden looking at the sea views.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Julie was friendly, communicative and accommodating. The home itself was gorgeous with the most amazing views and location. The welcome basket of goodies, plus the wine and milk, etc were much appreciated. It was a wonderful place to relax after some very busy traveling.

Julie looked after us perfectly from booking the property to departing. We were playing golf for the week. It is the perfect base to explore the wonderful links of Lancashire. Lovely house with views of the sea. Everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend. *****

My family and I stayed at this lovely house over the May bank holiday weekend. The house is a large open property, with stunning views and beach within minutes. The railway station is close by, we went to Waterloo marina and Southport on the train rather than driving. Julie our host was very helpful and contacted me during our stay to see if everything was ok and did we need anything? I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a city (Liverpool) and beach break.

Wonderful ocean front property with views from every room. We enjoyed our stay. Loved the well furnished house, backyard and the long walks on the path by the sea. Julie is a great host. She was there to welcome us and gave us great local information and advice. Thank you Julie and Steve for your hospitality,kindness and generosity. We will definitely come back when we are back in town to watch another football game 😊❤️

Wow!! What can i say about the property and our stay....wow just wow! We had a fantastic time on our stay. Julie is an incredible host, very gracious and willing to help in any way. The home itself is 5*, very well maintained, a huge garden, and some of the most incredible views imaginable. My family loved it! We wish we lived there, its so serene and peaceful....morning coffee overlooking the beach and the Mersey cannot be beaten! Next time i go back to Liverpool i hope to stay there again. This property far exceeded our expectations. It is incredibly spacious, very clean, and well-stocked with every amenity you could need while staying away from home. The property was a perfect place for our family of five from America to spread out and relax between our day trips around this area of England. The property is conveniently located to many attractions and restaurants, with easy access to major roads and trains. Our favorite activity was walking along the beach or just sitting in the home watching all the boats and ferries go by. It truly is an incredible place. Julie is a very gracious and attentive host, who has lovingly maintained this home, and she went above and beyond to make this a special stay for our family while we were traveling.

We spent a wonderful week here with the family over the holiday period. Julie was an amazing host who responded to our emails/queries immediately and provided not only a lovely hamper and fresh flowers, but Christmas trees too! The house is in a great location with amazing views. The underfloor heating was really appreciated after some very cold and windy walks along the beach! We will definitely be booking again in the near future.

We had a really lovely break at this beautiful house which is so conveniently located for a coast and city break. Julie and Steve were so helpful both before and during the visit, with a tour of the house and suggestions on things to do in the local area. We loved being so close to the beach and also enjoyed visiting Liverpool on the train with the station only a few minutes away. Would really recommend this house for hosts, location and accommodation. Thanks Julie and Steve!
