The hostel's restaurant offered nice dining, with fresh, delicious meals and friendly staff. The duck dish tasted good.
Our bed room, though seemingly acceptable at first glance, quickly revealed its disappointing conditions. The space was not only old but also poorly maintained, with dust settled on much of the furniture. Upon attempting to sleep, we encountered a disturbing situation: the beds were infested with wriggling maggots, discovering five on the mattress alone, and even more on the floor. This alarming discovery resulted in a sleepless night filled with discomfort and unease. The hostel desperately needs to improve its cleanliness and pest control measures.

Well if your plan is to stay several days on left side of the Nile in order to visit all available archeological sites, this is a perfect base! If you don't have Luxor Pass, you will need to buy all tickets separatly in a ticket office which is on the other side of the road. All locations are relaively close (except Valley of the Kings, but we manage to get there on foot anyway) and accesible by walk, but it's not a problem to call a taxi there (or a random car, for few EGP everyone will agree to give you a short ride). Staff is very nice, attentive and helpful and food is delicious (in addition to brekfast you can also order lunch/dinner here).

The food is tasty and the staff is so friendly. The location is quiet good and relaxing, and it's few meters from the Colossi of Memnon.
The room wasn't as expected, and the bed mattress wasn't comfortable. And you might see lizards.

amazing property, loved the location, outdoor dining, great meals, beautiful, setting, stones throw from Medinat Habu. With the wind blowing in the evening and dining outside, felt like a magical place away from the hecticNess of the east bank. highly recommend! all staff were so nice and helpful.

this property has a great location on the West Bank with a completely different vibe then the east bank. it appears to be a family run place to stay, restaurant, taxi service anything you need. The property is great with eating outside is located adjacent to Medinat Habu and off the road to valley of the kings. Location is amazing. love the outdoor dining meals were great and they made the best orange juice I’ve ever had.

I picked the hotel for its convenient location. I enjoyed it so much because of the owner and staff. Food was excellent and generous. Also the room and outside sitting areas were so peaceful. Room was traditional Egyptian. It is a small hotel but central to everything. I could see the colossus of memnon from my room.
I stayed at five hotels on this trip. This was the lowest price. This was my favorite. I was very happy here.
Can't think of a thing.

Farm and family atmosphere though very basic. Great location to West Bank attractions.

beautiful place with real Egyptian character. They treated me like family, I loved my stay & was sad to leave. If you’re looking for the real Egypt this is the place.

Very warm and friendly hosts. Amazing home cooked meals, vegetarian options were great and versatile. Quiet place perfect to relax.
Some of the blankets were not clean.

Located in the West Bank just in front of the Antiquities bureau ticket office and “walking” distance to Valley of queens and workers tombs and you can rent a bike to reach all other sites if interest in the West Bank.
Felt like home and looking forward to be back after a busy days of sightseeing . Very calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast was extremely nice and dinners were available at a very reasonable price and were delicious .
Staff extremely helpful.
- Poor Wi-Fi, not available in the rooms but only downstairs .

If you are looking for an authentic village Egyptian experience on a wonderful location, surrounded by the pharaonic past, this hotel is the perfect place!
it could be a bit cleaner, it is pretty dusty and full of spider webs.

What a beautiful, authentic property! Our 4 day stay here was a true highlight of our month in Egypt. Every evening we enjoyed wonderful home cooked food and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our two children passed hours playing with the local neighborhood children and we enjoyed strolling to the nearby local sites and stopping for sugarcane juice on the way. The guesthouse also organized our guide and driver for our tour to the Valley of the Kings, which was outstanding! The hot air balloons also fly over the property every morning, which was a beautiful site!
nothing!

It is a special hotel close to all the sites on the West Bank. Built of adobe it is quaint and down to earth if that is what you are looking for. The food is excellent and the dining area is like being on the country side. You can rent bicycles to visit the west bank sites, and it is a short taxi or mini bus ride to the ferry to cross over to the east bank.

The hotel was great and the staff were very kind and helpful. We felt at home, yet also as if we were in an exotic ancient paradise. You feel like you're really in Egypt here. The breakfast was delicious and the outside cafeteria area is heavenly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor and West Thebes.
The beds were a bit hard, but that can definitely be overlooked when taking everything else into account.

Wonderful traditional mudhouse right opposite the ticket office. You cannot have a closer location as basis to see all the main luxor sights, still it's absolutely peaceful in an orchard of palm trees. The rooms have all the comfort like AC, fan, own bathroom, balcony (from which you can even see the memnon colossus), but are decorated in local style, like furniture made from palm trees. You can enjoy the hospitality of Mahmood's kind family, and the delicious dishes in their restaurant (duck with orange sauce or crispy aubergine for example). and they can organize any kind of trip/sightseeing you might like to do at very reasonable prices, but they also just give advice if you prefer to do your own thing. simply a great place to stay, i will definitely come back!

Peaceful and restful, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, very easy access to West Luxor sites, good food, cute cats. I really enjoyed staying here and I was sad that I had to leave.
Nothing.
