Independent chalet overlooking the lake, very quiet, private, intimate. We had animals greet us every morning: squirrels, birds, reindeer... it felt like a fairy tale. The chalet faces south, perfect to watch the sunset - on the other hand, the Northern Lights will come in from behind the chalet.
The lake was completely frozen so we walked through it to get to the stores on the other shore and to see the Northern Lights :-).
Comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, functioning sauna. Self cleaning required afterwards (service is available for a fee).
Easy to reach in winter with a standard rental car (we had a yaris). Parking available just outside the chalet.
Not big issues really, just good to know: stairs to the bedroom upstairs are quite steep and the ceiling in the loft is low; my partner is 186cm tall and needed to be a bit careful.

Loved everything about the place! Stunning location, amazing view.
The kitchen is kitted out very well. We would love to have stayed longer.
My only issue was with the wood burners. While these may be common across Finland, they are not common in other countries. Yes there are instructions emphasising the importance of the dampers. How is anyone supposed to know for sure if they are open or closed. A small sign next to the dampers explaining this would have been handy.

Wonderful location, right on the lake. Wood-fired sauna was a bonus. Perfect size for a couple.

The house met our expectations, clean and super location!
the beds were small and seperate.

The sauna was specious and the living room was very homy and cozy. In general, it was a great house for the money we payed.
There was very little storage space to put clothes inside and we had issues with the dish washer.
