Really cosy cabin in an amazing location! Felt like good value and had everything we needed.
3.8
Location, nice area, cleanliness, warm atmosphere, lovely view, modern house far away from bustling city
A bit difficult access with luggage which we were not prepared for, but well worth the hassle.
3.8
Great location with awesome view! Had all the amenities needed.

Coming from a big city, it was the perfect accomodation...." in the middle of nowhere" as the host sad.😊. The house was very big for us, the mountains around us....and the sheeps. Close to the Stegastein, Flam and Aurland. Nice view on the way to the accomodation. Enough place to park in front of the house. A big living room....TV...kitchen.....and very clean.
The price was very, very well for Norway!
It is known that we have to clean before to leave (and I think it's normal to do this everywheere)
Thank you, Lady with the sheeps! ❤️
That we stayed only 1 night😊

It was in a lovely place, the wiew was wonderful.

Superb views. Super peaceful and relaxing.
The path up to the house could be tricky if you had mobility difficulties.

Value for money and very peaceful
Host was not friendly and never responded to messages. Didn’t have good feeling when spoke to her directly as she didn’t bother to reply

Very pretty location on a hillside with views of the surrounding mountains; large living room. Sheep walking on tracks add to the charming environment.
It took a few emails and calls to get the information on how to obtain the key and this was more difficult because my mobile phone did not have a signal. This information should be provided without request. Eventually, I asked a helpful Norwegian traveler who had mobile phone and called the host to obtain the information on my behalf.
It would be helpful if the owner could provide instructions on how to make one’s way to the property for people arriving from Flam. This was quite difficult to do, but the very kind ladies at the Tourist Information centre recommended that I catch the tourist shuttle to the Stegastein lookout and then walk up the pathway from the bend in the road where the ‘Bjorgo’ sign is located. This is not a hard walk, except when one is bringing a rolling bag. The challenge is that the track is not paved, so wheeling a rolling bag along the gravel track is difficult, as the stones become stuck in the wheels; this is even more difficult going up the hill from the house to the cabin. Fortunately, the property owner helped with the most difficult part.
She charges extra for bedsheets and towels. Although one description listed this as having free WiFi, there was NO WiFi and the television did not work (that didn't matter to me, but might matter to some people).

amazing location, surrounded by magnificent views. Stagestein Lookout is just within walking distance from the accommodation. The property itself was very clean with a small kitchenette, a comfortable sleeping area and a clean bathroom. friendly host.

The location of the property was wonderful, the host were good. It was clean and neat. We arrived pretty late at night but they helped us with the direction and location. The property was isolated and quiet. Had a peaceful night. The house is wonderful getaway option for a large family or 5-6 people.
There was some ticking noise some electrical fault in the chimney, which made noise all night long. We had to turn the main switch off. rest all good.

Views were excellent from the location. Clean and easy to check in. Fully stocked kitchen and including nice utencils, plates, pots, pans and other useful things. Good amount of space as well.
Host is generally unfriendly. The room had a malfunctioning shower that was scalding hot. When I called the host she hung up on me and said there was nothing she could do. She did offer a partial refund in the morning but it felt somewhat forced. I appreciate that she offered a shower for us in the morning but we needed to leave, (something I expressed to her during check-in). The road is extremely precarious and folks should be aware of that when booking. I would also appreciate her listing the prices to rent linens and towels.

The apartment is good but the beds are uncomfortable, in the first flat there are beds for children, and to access the second flat (where is the main room) the stair is really small is only for 1.50m tall people. Don’t pay more than u$35/40 per night
Poor heating. You have to take off the shoes to get inside and the apartment is too cold to walk without shoes. No sheets or linens included.

The locality of this accomodation is amazing. Beautiful mountain view and stegastein lookout just behind the corner.
Only disadvantage was, that we had to clean our apartment before leaving (meant taking off sheets, vacuum clean etc.) Which isn’t the best when you’re in a hurry.
Also the TV didn’t work (but we didn’t really care :D) and there’s no wifi

The hosts were very sweet and kind and she came to personally check us in very late at night. We will remember her kindness! Thank you! ❤️ we enjoyed every bit of it. The place is very clean and location was very close to the view point. Would love to stay there again! ❤️🇳🇴
Hard to find at night but when we called the host took the call and guided us. Such helpful people! We got to be fair. We arrived late so not the hosts fault. But they were very helpful and kind. Loved our stay!

Location was good, although position of cabin windows doesn't give good view of mountains.

Attitude: We were treated as customers but not as guests. The host came to unlock the apartment personally, so she can tell us what we cannot do and what we must clean before leaving. Rules should be listed - no need to treat us as if we were bad guests by default. We've traveled quite a bit, and we always leave the places as clean as they were.
Kitchen: The oven is fitted with some kind of power protection that engages every couple of minutes. The only way around is to reset the power breaker. Hence, cooking is almost impossible. The fridge is small (under the counter) and doesn't have a freezer section. The cabinets are empty of any condiments, spices, or leftover products from other guests, confirming that barely anyone has used the kitchen. We couldn't help but notice the sarcasm in the host's offer to write her a grocery list, so she can pick those groceries for us.
To eat, we ended up driving twice all the way to Aurland via a narrow zig-zag road.
Bathroom: The sink is tiny - the smallest sink we have ever seen! It is impossible not to splash water around when trying to wash your face. There is plenty of room for a larger sink, though. The threshold override pin on the water flow handle in the shower is purposely blocked. Thus, the shower is barely dripping. Very likely the host is trying to limit the water usage, probably because the hot water tank is too small for the four apartments.
TV: There is an old CRT set which receives properly only one channel (in Norvegian) but there is no sound. Thus, it is pretty useless.
Internet: The host communicates from her house, some 50 meters away. In our apartment, there was a strong WiFi signal from her router but she kept insisting that the apartment is too high, making this a technical issue, while it obviously was again a matter of cheap saving.

it was spacious and in a beautiful location, middle of nature with views over the mountains; walking distance to stegastein viewpoint!
the road to get there obviously requires a few hairpin turns; the cottage is quite rustic even though most amenities are present.

Beautiful cabin, comfortable, outdoor views unparalleled. Host was a bit grumpy when we got keys, but then drove us to the cabin, thank goodness
I didn’t realize it was so far away and we didn’t have a car. cleaning was unclear, the broom came apart and the vacuum didn’t have much power.

Good value in a great location.
No WiFi

Location close to stegastein lookout. Daughter of host was very nice and helped us good.
Initial host was hard to communicate with. Sanitary was not very clean, there was still rotting food in the fridge from other guests.

the beautiful view, quiet area, nice host, renovated apartment
login credentials for internet were not working, water power in the shower is just awful, tablecloth is way too dirty, unfortunately no response to questions.

Owner start „conversation” screaming on me. It was disgousting. We were really tired after long way and she just crushed with this behavior.
We booked this place because was written that we can check in to 23:00. On the way we spend 40min waiting on the road constructions, so we came 23:30. That was too much for her, so we got a punch of her flustration.
This kind of situations shouldn’t happent. I definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place.
