The rooms were clean and modern. Free drinks and instant noodles all day were a bonus. Breakfast provided good options.
The location of the property was in a ghost town. No one around when we arrived and had to wait an hour to check in
4.2
Good location, very kind receptionist (even though she didn't speak English, she was very helpful, we solved everything through Google translator). Perfect free self-service breakfast!
Although there were nets in windows, there were a lot of mosquitoes every night.
4.2
Very friendly host, communication via translation app worked quite well, free laundry, good location when you want to go hiking in Seoraksan Park. Simple, but good breakfast.
Many guesthouses in the area are closed and are falling apart, so do not expect to arrive in a cute village.

Stuff gives us the gifts for hiking. Then helps us with transfer and local navigation.
Also instant noodle and some beverages make us happy.
The shower was pretty minimal :)
4.2
1. Spacious, clean, comfortable facilities and room. 2. Helpful and friendly staff. 3. Freeflow complimentary instant noodles and packet drinks. 4. Free car parking 5. Small gym to exercise.
1. No elevator to bring heavy bulky luggages to higher floors. Luckily, friendly staff helped to carry them up. 2. Window has no curtain to block summer day light starting at 5 o'clock in the morning.

Ok hotel but don't expect it as on the pictures.
This is quite old hotel. Mold on the windows, damaged wall covers. In the evening the water was barely warm. You can cook on camping stove in your room, and this is weird and unsafe. Strong smell of chlorine was in the room when we arrived. The wifi was weak and unstable.
4.2
The property is very clean, albeit in a quite part where there are lots of old buildings due to a massive influx of tourism that then reduced so lots of empty places.
however this place is great! comfy beds, clean. free noodles, coffee, soft drinks. free laundry service. the owners don’t speak English but will easily translate via google and be sure helpful. they bought us beer at the chicken shop and drove into town to give us information leaflets!
Wi-Fi is good and easily accessible to the park via walk (30-45 mins) or bus.
would definitely recommend and stay again.
only issue is the shower takes about 5-10 minutes to warm up. so run it before you get in otherwise will be a long wait!

All. from nice comfy bad to stuff

The Resotel is much closer to Seoraksan National Park than the description has suggested. It is still a 45-minute-walk, but it is worth due to the beautiful first view of Seoraksan.
Also, there is a direct bus from Sokcho, which also can take you to the National Park.
My room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
The staff could not speak English, but they made a huge effort to communicate with me.

The kindest owners ever.
- We arrived at the wrong hotel 1km away and he picked us up for free.
- I asked the lady for a yoga mat, she found one and lended it to me for the entire stay.
- She's also doing laundry for free.
- We had a minor water issue after 2-3 days so they gave us another room immediatly and made us a discount at the end without I even ask for it.
- Whenever I had a question about anything like the bus timeable for exemple he would take time to respond using google translate.
- Everything in the room is clean, confortable and the location is great you can walk to the entry of Seoraksan park in about 30-40min. You also have a bunch of restaurant on the main street like 2min walk from your room.
- Plus there is free drinks and food in the entrance, such as ramen, biscuits, coffee, tea, fruits juice...
Amazing services !
I was not using the address but just the name Mammoth on google maps (koreans dont really use google maps but rather Naver map) and that's why we ended up 1km away so that's my bad.
Maybe they should just try to add Mammoth Resotel on google maps for the next lazy customer like me.
Nothing else to say it was great.

very clean and everything we need is there. nearby to Seoraksan National Park (cable car).
4.2
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to store luggage for a night while we went on a two day hike. Location is very nice if you want to go hiking in Seoraksan park. Laundry options available and the room was spacious.
First night we slept badly because of the barking dog belonging to the hotel owner. The musquito net in front of the window was also broken so they were swarming across our room. When we requested a different room for the second night this was no problem. Reception was often unattended (which happens a lot in Korea).
4.2
Located nearby Seoraksan national park, definitely a good place to rest after hiking. Staff are very kind and helpful, they offered free laundry service. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, floor & mattress heating available.
Sound isolation was not good.
4.2
The room was clean and spacious with lots of amenities for cooking and resting after hiking. Two bus stops away from National Park and short walk to restaurants. The hosts were so kind and hospitable would defiantly recommend. Good value for money
