Location
BEWARE! The rooms were horrible! We booked a room with balcony and received one in the attic with no balcony and the tiniest window you’ve ever seen. Also the elevator does not go all the way up to the fifth floor where this room was. We decided to leave since this was not what we paid for. The lady at the front desk was horribly rude and refused to give us a refund. She first lied to us saying there is not one more room available for the night and then gave us another room which was incredibly tiny, also had no balcony and a broken AC. The lady refused to give us a refund but we still left for another hotel, it was that bad!

Gostei da localização e do atendimento dos funcionários
Do elevador
Fiquei hospedada no 4º andar
O elevador é lento e só cabe uma pessoa por vez . Então, optei por usar escadas . Porém , como estava hospedada no 4º andar, foi bem desconfortável

The location was fantastic. The room was comfortable but a tad small. Night staff was pleasant and very helpful. We liked that we could have a cup of tea at night after a long day and bringing home a pastery from a local bakery.
Room is very small, one of the smallest we've been in for awhile, we made it work. A little mold in shower would be nice to be cleaned out. The elevator need to be working and reliable. We sent our luggage up and the elevator stopped 3/4 of the way to the door. I didn't trust it when leaving, so I carried large luggage from the 3rd (2nd in europe) to the front desk. Not and easy task for seniors.

Location terrific
The bathroom was very small and the toilet was in a very difficult position. I would have been impossible to use if you are a large person.

The Great help from Batricia the reception girl on Sunday 23 July. She was exceptional in her courtesy and help and can do attitude. Anna also was friendly and try to help
The very bad treatment from Nicole the reception girl on Saturday 22 July. She treated me like a prisoner in a camp and said if you do not like your room you can go out stay in other hotel while I paid for next day.
She was very unprofessional- Not tolerant- aggressive.
She insist to put me out of my room by 12 noon while I booked for the next night and she give my new booked room for other new guest at 12 noon while check in time is 3.00 pm . So she pull out an in house guest with confirmed booking for next day at 12 noon to give his room 3 hours earlier for other guest and asked me to go to street waiting for my new room to be cleaned.
This is first time ever to happen in any hotel.

False information on the type of room sizes. Can't walk around the bed or even sit on the toilet it is so close to the shower door.

Perfect central location in an old quarter. Very near an inter connecting Metro - important given the hills in Lisbon. Staff super helpful. Comfortable bed and pillow
No plug in the sink and no kettle in the room

Excellent location and the staff was really nice and professional
No lift to the 5th floor, no effort for the decoration in the room, old and broken furniture and empty walls. So depressing!

I paid to use the safe box 3euros for 2 days,
very good location

Plus:
- Excellent location. (But, frankly, next time I will choose another hotel at the same neighborhood. There is no shortage of these.)
- Good connection to public transportation: Metro station at 100 m.
- Ample choice for food and drinks in the neighborhood.
Minus: EVERYTHING.
Everything was wrong about this place. Frankly, the worst room I've had in years (and I had many!) at.... cough cough... 90+ euros a night! What?
Elevator: malfunctioning, inefficient, downright dangerous at times.
Stairs: skewed wooden steps (literally: there is some serious engineering work to be done if this building remains in use in the future).
Room size (my main issue): so ridiculously small that it made our practical movement clumsy. One of us had to exit the room so that the other one would handle a suitcase, open it and get some stuff our of it (remember: small wardrobe, no drawers, just about the space to hang two garments). This was a professional visit to the city, but... I had no place to actually sit down (yes: NO place for a chair in the room!) and do some work.
Breakfast: basic, but admittedly acceptable, OK. No variety, but "not too bad" either; it all depends on your standards.
All in all, this place at this price (and with these MISLEADING pictures on the website: wide-angle photography does miracles, right?) is not worth a visit. Just my view.
I won't mention other hotels nearby that WERE worth staying in, as it turned out (we visited a few, for our next time), to avoid creating false impressions - but, this one, we regretted staying in. From the first night.

THE LOCATION WAS AMAZING. There was a dozen things I didn’t like about this place but location outshines them all.
The elevator. It’s a one person elevator which gets stuck if you touch the sides. Those were literally the staff’s instructions. “Please don’t touch the sides else it will get stuck”. My wife didn’t touch the sides but still got stuck with my newborn baby. The staff had a big tool to insert in a hole and fiddle around to get it opened which took some time. The hallways, the rooms the elevator was all too small for even a stroller. I had to fold my stroller to move around on the inside. Truly one of the worst stays if you ignore the location.
Room was missing all basic amenities. Soap dispenser was finished. Toilet paper holder was missing and rolls were just sitting on top of the tank.
I was only in town for one night so I could tolerate it but it was a longer stay I would have changed hotels.

The location was great.
The elevator was like a converted dumbwaiter - single occupant/no luggage. The toilet was mounted so that it was impossible to sit facing forward. The entrance to the 4'sq shower was about 1' wide. The room was very small and the wardrobe prevented the door to the room from fully opening.

Perfect location and Friendly staff, average breakfast.
Shower room was super small and separated with the glass wall from the sleeping area, basically u have it in the room.
Shower cabin is something like size XS-S in European sizes..also it was hard to get IN and OUT of shower because of the limited space for the shower door. I use to squiz sideways and at the same time scratched my chest and bum..never seen that before!
