Good for a one night stop over. Lots of additional facilities such as pool and gym.

Great view from the room. Large balcony, if only the weather had been better. Nice restaurant. Very friendly staff on reception. Parking was secure and free. After our meal we were able to have a nice walk along the path that was behind the hotel and overlooking the sea.

Food in the restaurant could have been hotter. We both ordered soup for starters. My husband's was ok but mine was Luke warm. Looked around to ask for it to be reheated but no staff about. Same with next course, the pasta could have been hotter.

Comfortable bed and room, nice view, great breakfast

Aircon didn't work and there was no way to control the temperature, the swimming pool and spa was dirty and incredibly salty/chlorinated, you had to buy a swim cap to use the facilities for hygiene reasons but there was a plaster in the hot tub...

Good hotel but it needs some updating

It’s a spacious hotel with nice see views. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel and the building are slightly on the tired side, and in need of some TLC. We were put into one of the back rooms, (the hotel was almost empty) with car park view. It would have been nice if they checked us into a sea view room. The room itself was bland and a bit old and had no electric socket anyway, apart from the sitting room which was far from the bed.

A retreat to wild unspoilt beauty

I LOVED the view from my terrace and the amazing pool and jacuzzi overlooking the sea.

The coffee couod have been better but it was a treat to have cava for breakfast.

Superb

Extraordinary view of a very beautiful coast if you like rocky beaches. There was a place close by to charge our bikes and we were also able to repair our broken pannier there. It was a great second day stop from Porto. People at the hotel were very friendly and helpful!

Would recommend staying here. Amazing sea views and lovely rooms with balcony.

Amazing location right on the sea front with stunning views. Rooms were large, spacious and very clean with a love balcony overlooking the sea and super bathroom. Would recommend staying here and would book again if visiting Viana do Castelo. Right on the Camino coastal route. If I have any comment it would be the restaurant - my vegetables (spinach) weren’t the best but that is personal choice.

It was pleasant but the view alone does not justify the price

View, breakfast, decor. staff was friendly and always available to help

kitchen limited hours including for room service. the chair in the room was hard plastic and very uncomfortable. The room had only 2 power plugs in the whole room in the desk area. No plugs near the bed

The roomservice was a disaster (when you rater yourself with 4 stars + charge for it - I have expectations) I came for the Spa/pool but it closes early un Sundays! All in all the level of information and lack thereof and management is where I'll put my criticism ( not the staff)

the staff was not very helpful. the prices during this week were very high mainly because of neopop festival. however the staff was surprisingly very strict in the checkout time even knowing that the hotel was full bec of the festival! not very professional unfortunately!!

The location was ideal & the facilities were good. view from the balcony was just great.

I think the postcode on Booking. com was incorrect & sent us into a docks/industrial area. However this was soon corrected & we were only half a mile away from the hotel.

The hotel has some good aspects for example the room we stayed in was large with a nice balcony with sea view. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly

The hotel seems to be adjacent to the docks area which is a little off putting as you approach - it is some distance from the centre of the town. We didn’t like that we couldn’t get any food before 8pm when restaurant opened

Lovely hotel right on the sea front so has great views of the ocean (always book a room with a sea view) Nice and clean hotel with helpful staff

View was amazing. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Dinner options were limited and the item we chose was no longer available even thought we were one of the first patrons to arrive. Found it costly for what was served. Steak, rice with beans no vegetables or salad.
