Un super séjour, malgré quelques mineurs bémols

Le SPA (piscine, bain à remous et sauna) est très bien entretenu. L'hotel dispose également de plusieurs petits espaces détente en extérieur avec une très belle vue sur le lac de Queenstown. De manière générale, la vue sur le lac est vraiment magnifique, que ce soit au petit-déjeuner, au restaurant, ou les espaces relax. (Notre chambre avait vue sur l'espace piscine et non pas sur le lac en revanche) Enfin, la salle de sport est très bien équipée !

Au petit déjeuner, assez peu de diversité pour un petit déjeuner non salé. Les jus de fruits semblaient à base de nectar et avaient un goût peu naturel. Le room service propose une carte assez large, mais les pizzas sont absolument A EVITER ! Beaucoup de sauce industrielle (aigre-douce ou aioli) recouvre les ingrédients... Enfin, la nuitée est globalement plutôt chère, mais Queenstown est une ville assez chère en général donc on ne peut pas vraiment le reprocher à l'établissement

Excellent accommodation and worth your money

The photos don’t do this place justice! It’s a lot nicer in real life. Everything was spotless and clean! Very impressed! You get your moneys worth staying here, staff were exceptional, we were upgraded upon arrival to a lake view room which had stunning views. Very quiet room, no noise disturbance throughout our entire stay (4days). Facilities were great, sauna was lovely, pool area always kept clean and tidy, spa gets cleaned twice a day which is great. Kids enjoyed the pizza we ordered from the bar. Coffee was great! So impressed by this resort I would definitely recommend staying here especially families. All the staff we came across were so friendly and eager to help and made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything. Location is close to the city centre, walkable distance however we did Uber back as hill was quite steep, Ubers will cost you no more than $13 one way to city centre. $45 to the airport.

Couldn’t fault it. Loved this resort and will be returning next time

A good value for money resort, with a stunning view

Mercure is absolutely amazing value for money! Although the buildings and rooms are outdated, they are clean and comfortable. Room 210 had an incredible view, day & night. The staff are so lovely! Thanks so much for the upgrade! We will definitely be back.

The accommodation areas are quite outdated, but they are comfortable

Fabulous views and amenities 5 mins drive from the heart of Queenstown. Would definitely recommend!

Spectacular view from our room to the water and snowcapped mountains! The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We loved sitting in the hotel bar area in the evening to have a drink and chat by the fireplace. The bar menu was delicious too! The restaurant was beautiful but it would have been good if it further catered to families in the style of dishes offered. The property has a fabulous outdoor terrace and swing which has a beautiful view. The hotel also had a pool (too cold to use) and hot tubs - perfect for the winter season! The hotel has a guest laundry available as well which was really appreciated. The staff were lovely and very accommodating which made check in and out a breeze.

While the location was close to the Queenstown CBD, it was too far and steep to walk to and from for us (due to a knee injury), so we needed to drive to and from for dinner etc. The parking lot at the hotel was often full when returning in the evening after dinner. The breakfast seemed quite overpriced for the standard of food on offer.

Great hotel overall

Views were amazing from our room, bar and both restaurants. Staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly.

The only thing would be that the rooms were outdated and bathrooms need updating. Toilet didn’t not flush properly. A good paint would help.

Stunning views and a perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

The staff were amazing especially Una on reception and Dylan at the Bar. Very helpful and accommodating. When I didn't feel the room matched the booking they happily upgraded it.

It was perfect for what I required. If it had a massage facility it would be even better.

Will not stay with them again!!

We stayed in South Island for 2 weeks at different places and stay here is the worst of our trip. The elevator was unclean and smelly. The toilet in our room was broken, though they sent someone to fix when complained. Spa was dirty. Away from the city. The room was nothing like how it was shown in the photos. Breakfast was average.

Nice stay, liked the view from the room, friendly staff.

Liked the room and the view matched the description and photos mentioned by the hotel on the website.

Gym needs more equipments and also pool wasn’t heated. Although they have 3 hot tubs but its very hard to excess as people kept using it for hours.

Lakefront room was good. Warm and comfortable.

The room was set up for another guest when we got into the room with a special card left for this guest. The reception staff had to come and take it away. The dinner at the restaurant was overpriced. We ordered vegetarian main -roasted cauliflower which was $38 person and all we got was four florets of cauliflower with four polenta fries. We ordered Cajun fries and got normal fries.

It’s okay. Not the best. I expect more. I hope there is Family room atleast.

The breakfast is good. A lot of parking space.

Staff in not friendly. False advertisement. They said in the advertisement before I booked it our room will be having a coffee machine but when we arrived in there there’s none in the room and staff said it’s not included to what we booked. Also they said in the advertisement they got family room in the hotel but when we looked at asked for it, staff said they don’t have a family room. Which is false advertisement.

The staffs are nice

The room is old and not clean. Carpet looks dirty. Light is not enough, the room looks very dark even all the lights are on. We have booked a lake view room, but 1/4 of our view were blocked by the building and in front of a dirty untidy garden and pipe, we didn't even want to open the window to avoid the bugs or Flys come into our room from the dirty pipe. Doesn't worth the money at all. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel

Superb

The room was large and spacious with a great mountain and lake view. Loved it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good food as well. The restaurant also had a great view which was a bonus.

Wonderful overall

Great view of the mountain ranges, shrubs outside the window could be trimmed to obtain a stunning view though.

The fridge kept making a noise during the night. One of the beds had a broken spring which made the mattress very saggy. We noticed this was fixed the following day but it compressed again that night so could do with replacing.
