Lovely hotel near Freiburg with great food and friendly staff.

The surroundings are really lovely. Beautiful scenery and the village of Waldkirch is very nice. The hotel is comfortable and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful Di nner in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was also very good with a variety of fruit, cheese and cold meats as well as different breads and cakes. Our triple room was extremely spacious.

Our room on the top floor of the main building had one wall which had floor to ceiling windows with vertical blinds, some of which were broken and did not stop the light coming in. So we were woken very early - this didn't bother us too much for a short stay as we were keen to get up and out in the morning .It was also very warm with the sun coming in all day although it did cool down at night.

Schöner Stopp im Schwarzwald für einen Kurztrip

Schöne helle Zimmer, modern eingerichtet. Reichliches Frühstück mit frischem Obst und guter Auswahl an Wurst, Käse und Lachs.

Frühstücksbuffet war auf zu viele Stellen verteilt.

Das Hotel ist ein toller Ort, es sich rundum gutgehen zu lassen.

Uns hat besonders das gute Essen und die warmherzige Atmosphäre gefallen. Chefin und Chef waren jederzeit ansprechbar für Fragen oder Wünsche. Ohnehin war das Personal außerordentlich zuvorkommend, sehr aufmerksam und einfach toll.

Fijn hotel, direct dichtbij snelweg.

Hotel met grote kamer, restaurant en parkeerplaats met gunstige ligging t.o.v. snelweg. Goed restaurant en goed ontbijt.

Kamer was best warm, geen airco, misschien bij hoge temperaturen dan te warm. Op handdoek zat een vlek en een haar. Doucheputje was verstopt.

Modernes, sauberes Zimmer mit viel Holz. Gut für Allergiker. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück. Freundliches Personal.

Beleuchtung Saunabereich (Duschen) zu hell. Keine Trinkgläser, keine Willkommens-Wasserflasche, kein Wasserkocher bzw Tee auf dem Zimmer.

Great find near MUC. Would stay again!

Great location close to the airport. Very nice, clean facility with a good restaurant and great breakfast. Great bathroom and shower.

The rooms and restaurant were hot!!

Extremely nice welcome.Well appointed rooms .Nice sauna.Good breakfast spoilt by the layout

The friendly reception ,everything explained including the local transport with the free tickets.

Having to change rooms from one with a view to one without. The breakfast layout,chaotic .Three different stations,the main one in a small alcove.With 3 or more guests it was blocked! Restaurant deco,a mixture of Black Forest and Disney ! Food portions also belong to a past generation

Original plan had to be changed because of double booking. Breakfast facilities too small for number of guests. Unfortunately Restaurant closed on Sunday

Positive surprise

We did not expect much. We chose the hotel because of beautiful location and a new room. The kitchen turned out to be amazing: the dinner and the breakfast were a great surprise. Generous and healthy local food for very reasonable prices. The staff was very hardworking and friendly. The beds were top quality and very comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean and hygiene was on top level. I would rate this as a five star stay.
