Très bon séjour/ établissement très bien situé 👌

L’hôtel est très bien placé à quelques pas des commerces et de la place centrale du village 👌 Très jolie chambre avec rangements et grand balcon terrasse. Petit déjeuner bon! Le personnel de l’établissement est très serviable. Une très belle terrasse sur les toits avec jacuzzis / tables chaises … coin repas.

-Peut-être changer quelques mobiliers de décoration un peu vieillot disponibles pour les clients ds les coursives… blancs crèmes avec pas mal de taches. -Plus de fruits au petit déjeuner. -Un mini sèche linge sur les balcons. -Des sèches cheveux ds les chambres.

This hotel was such a nice spot to stay in during our time in the Galapagos.

The location and views were spectacular. Our room was so nice and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax. The staff was always able to help us out.

Very good

The staff was super helpful and super friendly, they were always available trough Whatsapp to get the latest information for tours. Breakfast is good with delicious scrambled eggs. Rooms are spacious and have what is needed for a comfortable stay. Location is right in the center of the cosy Puerto villamil

We had a great time staying at the hotel. The breakfast was good with a view of the lagoon and watching the flamingos

We asked to extend the departure time from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and were denied even though the hotel was almost completely empty

OK Stay

The statt here is great. Daisy and Paul are very helpful and friendly. They also speak English

The room was VERY dirty. Dust behind the bed and under the sofa. Bathroom OK. The TV was removed, looks like it was stolen. The wires were cut. Although there is a newer building, we were in the old one. Paul was kind enough to try to move us, but there was no bed type to meet our needs. If you stay here make certain you can stay in the new building and that they have the internet working. They are waiting for satelite internet.

very good hotel for a few days on Isla Isabela

very good room with direct access to the pool. the Pool is clean and refreshing. Very helpful staff, we could do an early check-in. Laguna with flamingos next to the hotel.

The actual accommodation itself wasn't bad. It is in need of renovation generally, but the rooms have all the necessary amenities including air con.

We used the Jacuzzi but it was a little dirty to start with, so had to be cleaned. The staff were acccomadating in the sense that they gave us a nicer room for 2 of our 3 nights because we complained that we had booked a double. Turns out the 'double' we had booked was actually 2 VERY small 'double beds' (basically 2 singles) rather than a proper double. The staff generally seemed a little moody and were a bit disorganised. They told us to tell them 1 hour before when we would use the jacuzzi. We did this but they forgot and so we had to wait another 20 mins when the time came around to actually use the Jacuzzi. Thry lent us snorkelling gear for $5 per person, but when we used it, our masks filled up with water (which is super uncomfortable) and the actual air vent was letting in water somehow (which is a quite unsafe).

A Week in Paradise

Beautiful hotel. Comfy and large large room (we booked KING Lakeview rooms). Very good value for the money. The hotel pics don't lie. There's a pool and jacuzzi. Two blocks away from the beach. Our room has ocean view and lagoon (with flamingos) view. Good breakfast, helpful staff, ferry pickup and drop-off, bottled water on every floor. Best of all, the hotel takes credit card with no additional surcharge (most businesses in Isabela add 12 to 20% to credit card payments). Otherwise bring lots of cash. There's only one ATM in town that works roughly 60% of the time. We stayed 7 nights in Hotel La Laguna and we didn’t wanted to leave. Gabriel was our the go to guy in La Laguna. Daisy seems to be a new but she always did her best to help us. We were so happy with this hotel. Btw, wifi worked sporadically but that's unexpected. We have an internet service (Claro) on our phone and we get slow connection 70% of the time (30% no connection 🙄).

Home away from home in Isabela

Beautiful room (Had the Lakeview King bed Room), comfy bed, great value, bottled water on every floor, good breakfast, attentive staff, swimming pool, jacuzzi, slow wifi as expected (had our internet plan on the phone but also slow). We enjoyed Isabela that we ended up staying 7 days in hotel la laguna! Message the hotel and you get answered promptly. Can pay with credit card for room, tour, ferry tickets without surcharge - this is a big deal in Isabela. There's one ATM and it's unreliable. Bring lots of cash. Other tour companies, restaurants etc add on a surcharge of 12 to 20%. Gabriel is the go to guy in hotel la laguna. Daisy seems to be new but she tries her best to help us.

Exceptional

The location was great an the room and bed exceeded expectations. The sheet were buttery soft. We loved the room's look and size being very spacious. Breakfast was awesome! I loved the abundant papayas and other fruits.

We didn't like that the hot tubs were only usable by reservation or that the internet or TVs didn't work at all. It wasn't just our room, none of the TVs or internet worked in any of the 6 rooms my group of friends rented. We understand the need to disconnect but some of us needed to get things done via internet and at the end of a long day adventuring, it would have been nice to put on a show, but nothing worked.

Quaint and clean in area of quiet and calm.

Clean rooms. Appreciated the help of staff when needed, especially getting me from and to airport. Great location to beach, restaurants, and activities. Good value.

The hotel and associated tour company were a little disorganised. Forgetting to collect us from ferry, incorrectly booking ferries and having incorrect times and pickup points on tours. However, everything did work out ok in the end and staff were very attentive and helpful

Excellent location of this beautiful hotel enables us to reach almost anywhere within walking distance in Puerto Villamil of Isabela Island. Very big room with clean beds and facilities. Wonderful breakfast and services. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, arranging taxi and boat transportation. We hoped we could have time to stay longer. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff but very noisy

The hotel was close to the centre. Also the staff were really friendly and helpful, trying their best to help us arranging tours also on other islands.

The room was not protected against any noise from outside or the other rooms. We woke up everyday at around 5 am because there was a crazy rooster in the neighbourhood crowing every 30 seconds from 4 am onwards. Breakfast was also really basic and not regularly refilled.

Good option, not cute or remarkable

Rooms were comfortable, the location good and the staff friendly. Being able to see flamingos during breakfast definitely a plus. Access to the jacuzzi was limited but it's nice to have that option.

The hotel feels a bit sterile and lacking of a personal touch.
