La vicinanza al mare
Dovreste rimborsare il 50% di quanto pagato! Non è un 5*! Tutto pessimo: cibo, resort datato, pulizia zero.

Amazing hotel, almost on the beach, great services. Staff is so nice, professional, always willing to help. Eating outside always made our day as well as a la carte restaurants. Beach equiped by umbrelas, sunbeds, bars with drinks, beached cleaned every day. Hotel pool quite crowded and with loud music, so we finally preferred the beach area with was 3 mins walk from the mail building.
Sunbeds - quite uncomfortable and “self-folding” sometimes.
Early arrival made us waiting in the lobby with our luggage - leaving our suitcases in the “room” easily accessible from the street did not make good impression on us (we realised later we could at least use hotel restaurant for refreshment - but was not offered to us at our arrival:(). But we somehow counted with it so it did not spoil our stay.
Night entertaiment - made us stay awake to the late night 11pm, sometimes the music went from 2 directions - pool and amphiteathre - maybe consider to provide choice of area at checking in, not everyone preffers to stay awake until late night.

Hotel is located right on the coastline. It's not a new hotel, but clean and nice. Good for beach holidays, but there is not much to see around the hotel. The hotel has own umbrellas on the beach which are free to use. We also liked the beach bar with various cocktails.
Food was OK and we always could find something to our taste in the main restaurant. We tried all the à la carte places and I could recommend Greek restaurant. Asian à la carte was normal if you take right things, but Mexican and American we didn't like. If you want to visit à la carte restaurant, please book it asap as number of tables is very limited.
Minibar is refilled every second day, but if you ask you always can get what you need.
There is a small shop inside the hotel (close to main pool) and few more across the main entrance with all necessities and souvenirs. Also you can rent a car right in the hotel.
Free wifi worked well in our bungalow and sometimes even on the beach.
We had only one key from our bungalow, which makes it sometimes difficult to manage. We didn't like mosquitos late night, but we bought repellent in the shop which really helped. Would be nice to have irons in rooms.

location to beach, friendly staff and good food.
it is quite tired and basic. no candles on the terrace or lanterns, bare terraces, old sun-beds and umbrellas, only one public toilet, and the bar has 1-2 people working it sometimes taking 20 minutes to get a wine (with 2 staff busy making cocktails and about 6 others just cleaning glasses - not good management of bar at all).

everything was so clean and even though everything was so well spaced out it was easy to find everything.
nothing to be negative about.

Loved the helpful staff, Zoe is a gem willing to help no matter what 🤗 The restaurants have exceptional food quality. The staff at the beach bar are amazing and so willing to serve you. Everything was clean and lovely.
Would love to see better food in the hotel buffet following the example of the affiliated restaurants. Also areas for smokers to enjoy themselves as well after meals or with their coffee ☕ 😉 That was a surprise as travelers aren't told of the smoking prohibition when booking 🤔

The service was exceptional! at first, we received a bungalow room with an awful smell on urine coming from the toilet (the toilet seat was practically yellow and needed a replacement) and some ants on the floor. we asked for a switch for another room which was much better. the restaurants needed reservations but totally worth it! we had breakfast and dinner there, every day of the trip. similarly, the staff was SO nice and friendly.
We came with our toddler (1.8). it was fine but I don’t feel like the property fits that age or younger in terms of outdoor facilities. the children pool was quite deep and since we came during end of Sep, the water were pretty cold as you couldn’t just soak your feet and have the baby just half body in. in addition, the playground wasn’t shadowed and had just a few facilities with sand all over. I think for this age a close kids club with soft floor would be better so you would feel comfortable if the kids falls. note that there is some kind of a children club at the beach but I think it’s for older kids.

nice beach and good location
around the room there was a lot of noise so it was difficult to sleep

The beach was lovely
No indoor gym with plenty of space for one, this isn’t made clear. Not able to have access to an iron? staff said their was only 1 iron for the entire complex and another stayer used it the entire time..? asked multiple times never was able to use iron. Shower and bath leaked. Furniture was extremely loud.

Good hotel, with a lot of facilities (pool, activites) and variety of good. Special mention to the animation team (Georgia, Angie,...) for their good mood!
Even if it is a good hotel, we miss this attention to details which makes an hotel a real 5-star (empty bottle staying all day long in the corridors, beds at the beah which are a bit old,...).
The hotel could do more for the environment: showers leaking, towel changed everyday, even if you asked for keeping them. Looks like green washing

The crew were nice
Sparse facilities.
Nice food in the main dining room ... but entry to restaurants is very limited. It is possible to enter the restaurant once a week.
There is no beach for the hotel. Need to get out of the hotel.
There are no facilities for children.
There is no entertainment team for children.
There is no interesting for children.
A hotel that is mainly suitable for adults. Not what we read about on the description.
Just an upgraded nursing home. There is not even music anywhere.
In previous times the Mitsis hotels were very satisfied. Don't see me back to Mitsis hotels for shour. disappointment.
For us, the experience was bad. We came and went after the first night. We brought the flight forward. We did not even get to be in Rhodes for 24 hours. The money went and we came out frustrated.
in short. People with children. Do not get close!

The staff are highly trained. They know how to provide excellent service at the reception, restaurant and buffet.
The bartenders were very friendly, flexible and made cocktails using the correct ingredients.
The hotel was packed and the staff were not prepared for it. The a la carte was with reservation only but there were a lot of people who were let in without a reservation because they "threatened" with a bad review if they won't be served and for that the quality of the food and service suffered.

Very well kept
The bar had no brandy/ Metaxa which is what most of our group drinks

Visited for a romantic weekend and the hotel delivered. Located on an exceptional beach in Kiotari, this huge resort exceeded our expectations. We lounged at the pool during the day, ate at the exotic buffet for lunch and had an unforgettable evening at the Greek restaurant on the beach included in this all inclusive resort. The staff was polite and made our stay as comfortable it could ever be. We even visited the spa one day which was, in sense, the most relaxing experience one could ask for. All in all will definitely visit again!

The staff was very friendly, the beach is very close and the property is beautiful (not a massive building with too much concrete; loads of trees). We have only tried the Greek restaurant in the evening and a brunch there, which was delicious!
Lack of variety at the buffet especially when there is a theme night. But for the price we paid, we could not expect better.

lovely food, good service, all facilities you need for a family.
restaurants seemed to get booked up very quickly, so book in as soon as you can

Just the right sized resort and with a private pebble beach, bars & restaurants serving food and cocktails all around. The hotel is further south on the east side of the island beyond Lindos. Lovely 24’C weather in mid October, warm waters, large comfortable rooms, throughly enjoyed it. It is about an hour from the airport, 65mins from Rhodes city and 25mins from Lindos. If you have car, you can easy visit all places and many of the lovely sandy beaches around too. Found the hotel extremely good value for money. The ever smiling staff are the stars of the hotels. Free Wi-Fi all around the property.
The alcarte restaurants needs advance booking and please book it even before you land there or else you won’t find vacancies. I wish the cleaners and the guy refilling the fridge didn’t come at 9:30am every morning. Was a bit annoying somebody knocking on the door that early when on a holiday. Parking inside the property is limited and we’re asked to park outside. Found that weird, but got used to it and found it more comfortable than parking in the cramped parking lot.

Staff are super friendly and we never had to wait too long to get served at the many bars.
Entertainment was varied and activities were standard. The best entertainment was probably the Latin dancers. Daily water polo, water aerobics, and either darts or table tennis. They also have volleyball and archery on the beach! All free. There is also watersports (jet ski, boat, pedalo, etc) on the beach but for extra cost. Pool is generally quiet most of the day (as in number of people in it, we won't get into the how "quiet" it is when the water aerobics starts).
Above average variation of food in the main restaurant with different themes every night. Not amazing quality but better than you'd expect for an all inclusive. The salads were all amazing, the vegetables were so fresh. Both the Mexican and Asian restaurant food is a bit meh. Best restaurant food we had was probably in the Greek for brunch and snack-wise the creperie is unreal and there is really good pizza on the beach. Definitely recommend booking restaurants before you go (think you can book 5 or 7 days in advance).
Public transport is pretty cheap and reliable in Rhodes. Bus stop is right outside the resort so super easy to get into Lindos, Faliraki, etc.
Pretty easy to get a sun lounger even it if is lucky enough to be in the sun. There are a few early birds who get up to reserve their spots but the hotel and guests do a pretty good job at being respective of the rules.
Sea view room was worth the extra cost. Having seen the other rooms I probably would have gone for a room with its own ground floor patio out of preference but the standard sea view room was still pretty good. Cleaned every day and mini fridge restocked for free. Super comfy beds and pillows.
Would recommend for a family or couple looking for above average all inclusive on a beautiful island.
99% off the loungers round the pool are covered by metal parasols that you can't put down so you have to continously move round it all day to stay in the sun. Not sure why they didn't install parasols that you can put up and down as you please because most people are probably there for sun!
General layout of the hotel is not great. A lot of wasted space on the "water feature" in the middle of the pool (if you can call it that). Could have been used for lounger space that isn't under metal parasols or a bigger pool.
Staff are super friendly but not hugely informative (maybe this is Rhodes people in general?), if you don't ask don't get. There are several areas that they fail to mention to you at check in (amphitheatre, games room, several restaurants) that we just happened to come across 5 days into our weeks holiday.
We felt it was probably quiet season for the hotel yet we still had no chance of getting a seat in the evening to be able to watch the entertainment after dinner. I'm pretty sure those dedicated to the entertainment skipped dinner so they could get a seat lol. Can't imagine what it would be like in peak season. They just need more space to watch the entertainment outside the main bar.

Plenty of activities and Mitsis Rodos Maris tried to offer lots of live entertainment.
The beach was excellent and the pool vibe ok, this was amongst the best pieces of the resort. Also a quaint little walkway which was a kind of artificial village street, very nice for an afternoon beer and ice cream under the massive old tree.
Some staff were excellent but this was not across the board.
Three things i look out for, great room, great food and friendly staff. This is
Rodos Maris gets about half a star for the staff, some were excellent but not across the board. This is not a 5 star hotel.
Food was terrible nothing was labeled properly and you had to constantly ask the staff what x/y/z was and as its a busy resort it not always possible to find someone. And the food was so beige. They had a section of spices which customer could use but no labels, what is the point?
My wife is vegetarian and the easy way would be to section out a purely vegan/vegetarian/gluten free section that would be excellent for us customers.
They had a Greek theme lunch but no labels and me and two other customers had no idea what was in the dishes. I told the food manager this and he wasn't interested, just poor.
Rooms are very dated and need a refurb, i hear this will happen in 2023. its needed massively. We were not initially happy with our room and it took three hours to get it changed, not helpful.
