Breakfast was wonderful. Owner so nice. Quirky place on great location. Lockbox helpful for late arrival
Hadn’t realised bathroom was not en-suite but ok for us as only there with family

Owner is delightful, very committed to her role. Whilst she doesn’t do cooked breakfasts the food served was delicious and well presented. A great place to stay
Only being able to stay the one bight, didn’t have time to stay longer sadly. Would recommend using it as a base. Great all round experience.

This is a gorgeous quintessentially British experience, must visit. Quaint decor, with a lovely friendly service. Secret garden on a sunny day was magical and there's even home made ice-cream and food.

Breakfast was continental but very substantial and fresh, i actually preferred this to a cooked breakfast.

comfortable, welcoming
we do prefer an en suite bathroom but having a private bathroom was ok.
continental breakfast excellent

We hired all 3 rooms here for one night, as the accommodation for a 2 day horse trek which we had booked in nearby Boltby. The owner was very accommodating for our group and responded to questions quickly. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, home made pastries and bread. Rooms decorated beautifully and the whole place has a delightful ambience.

The location was beautiful, I felt so calm, peaceful and relaxed. The bnb was easy to find and I felt really at home in the room, as it was a lovely size, everything you needed and all details thought about. I would most certainly return to stay. Oh the breakfast as well! Perfect!!!! Our host couldn’t be more welcoming which made you feel happy in the environment.
As the tv still have dvd in the players, perhaps some film choices to choose from would be nice. But that’s not actually a fault.

Lovely quaint property and thoughtful host. Cafe and gift shop attached to B&B. Very clean and the continental breakfast was lovely. Especially enjoyed the pastries and home made bread.

We could find no fault.

Coxwold is a wonderful location, nestled in rural North Yorkshire and within easy reach of Helmsley, Thirsk and York. The tea shop and garden are delightful places for a relaxing drink or, in our case, a delicious continental breakfast. The room was a reasonable size, very clean and well-equipped and although there was no ensuite bathroom, the private bathroom for our room was just a few paces along the corridor (bath robes are provided!). The road that passes the property produced a little disturbance but nothing really to complain about. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and the other member of staff we met at breakfast was delightful. Importantly for us, there was secure storage for our bikes (we were on a four-day cycle trip around North Yorkshire).
There’s really nothing to dislike. A great deal of effort has obviously gone into making the accommodation very welcoming and beautifully-presented. It was, however, considerably more expensive than other B&Bs we stayed in on our trip (£99 compared to £77).

The B&B was delightful. We arrived a little early but our room was made ready for us. It was a lovely old house with many interesting features. The room was comfortable and though there was no ensuite we did have a private bathroom. Superb breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and freshly baked bread.
It was all lovely, so difficult to say what could have been better. Perhaps, given the bathroom situation, slippers could have been provided to wear with the bathrobes.

.Everything was to a high standard. Would recommend this to anyone

We had an excellent stay at this wonderful and quirky B&B for one night. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with gorgeous toiletries, so didn't need to use our own. The owner is a fantastic host and provided such an excellent selection for a wonderful breakfast. The home baked bread rolls were fab! We can highly recommend your lovely b&b and tea room/interior shop.
There wasn't anything, It was all perfect!

The room was comfortable and breakfast delicious
I would have preferred an en-suite bathroom, however as we were the only guests it wasn’t too bad

Really enjoyed my stay - perfect location for the wedding I was attending nearby. Liz was very helpful before and during my stay. The breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade bread.

We liked the comfort of the room, soft furnishings and the bathrobes were handy for trips to the bathroom. Good selection of hot drinks, complimentary biscuits and a varied continental breakfast from Liz the following morning. Well placed for us as guests at the nearby Newburgh Priory estate.
