Staff are really nice and heed our many requests. The place is a nice get away from the busy city.
The beds in the big room are not suitable for kids and senior citizens. It was high and hard to climb on it. But it was comfortable to lie down

Quiet and slightly off the beaten track. It’s a small property, six rooms I think. Any issues are quickly dealt with by the friendly and helpful staff. The food was really good! Well done chef ! The site is well presented. Lovely little pool and hammocks.
Thank you Bryan, the manager, who very kindly picked us up from Ronda the nearest town and brought us to the property to check in.
The “studio” room with sea view and four poster bed positioned in the middle of the room was nice.
A big thank you to Claire, the managers wife who arranged for the security guard to go back to a local restaurant where the staff had previously arranged transport for us to go to a local restaurant for dinner, after my friend left his pricy retainer there . Thank you so much Claire!
I understand it’s a small resort and the food choice is tagged to that, but if you are ok with being asked about your your meal choice in advance normally, sometimes after just having eaten and what time you will eat it’s fine. I was aware of that before booking, but some may find it too restrictive especially if you are on holiday and want freedom to be more spontaneous.
The pool, adjacent bed structure and hammock are adjacent to and slightly nearer to a massage area with a hut style room above ( fan only style), then to the rest of the accommodation. The guests that stay there may feel it’s sort of connects to their immediate area. I found on my stay the two guests there laid out their towels across the bed and hammock mid day to secure for later use when it was cooler while in the meantime using the massage seating area under their hut.
Like the manager said “first come first served” which could be a bit frustrating for the other guests. It took out most of the best and limited features of the property. I personally just wanted to get some shots for my Instagram. I managed to eventually even if it was in the rain ! Still beautiful though !
I stayed there for peace and quiet and was prepared to accommodate its short comings but was woken up early one morning with repairs to the roof of the room we stayed in, power tools, hammer etc.. ,which continued well into the morning, still repairing after the last typhoon I believe. They did stop when I asked. I came for peace and quiet not the building site experience.

very quiet, clean and great hospitality and service.
couldn’t fault anything, but wish the beach was a bit less rocky and swimming friendly

Beautiful hotel with a lot of privacy. Breakfast is really good!! Excellent hotel for relaxing and staying in 1 place for the whole day. Food was correct and prices were ok too.
We are used to stay in hotels away from the main city. We always do so as this is our way of travelling, we find it easy to rent scooters and explore, go to the busy cities during the day and eat dinner around the hotel at night. However, this hotel was the most inconvenient we’ve ever done for our kind of trip. If you don’t order in advance you are really left with no choice as the staff is really not flexible with this. we wanted to have dîner out but a storm hit at the time of leaving and we realized there is really NO RESTAURANT AROUND. They only offered to give us a platter of fruit which is acceptable but not enough for the night. The Only restaurants are in the city which is 20 mins minimum on scooter (for local street food). If you want more international food you have to go to the touristic side which is 30 mins in scooter. So a long trip there and back. Also if you don’t have a scooter you fully rely on private transport as the hotel is 7-10 mins by scooter from the main road. Bill gets expensive if you do the return every day.
I also recommend to book the tours in the city if you have a scooter as tours are 500+ php per person more expensive at the hotel due to the distance. We also didn’t like the fact that most of the corals of the beach there are dead and the tide is really low so it’s hard to get to a decent snorkeling spot, have to walk a hundred meters on dead corals to get to a depth where you can start swimming. I would come back here only if I wanted to have a fully lazy holiday by the pool.

It is paradise on Earth. Liked how calm and serene the setting was. The home made meals were delicious. Staff were super friendly and accomodating, they were able to help us out with organising activities, transport and massages. The overall vibe is not pretentious, it's more comfortable island life. Great to stargaze or see hermit grabs go on their nightly walks. It's the perfect getway! I've stayed in the Maison twice (pre and post typhoon Odette) and I'm sure to come again :)
I know they are still recovering from the typhoon and their water activities equipment (snorkel, inflatables, canoes) were all washed away. It would be great to see these return :)

Breakfast was very good with lots of fruit. The location was well away from everything making you feel like you had the coastline and place to yourself. The reef was difficult to reach being over 100 metres out from the shallow shoreline, but was worth it when you got there- I even saw a shark.
A more varied menu would help, especially when there are no alternative venues. Although some more cheer from the staff and a bit more flexibility on the timings of meals would improve the experience.

The staff were lovely and the resort was well maintained. I wanted something close to activities but remote enough for quiet evenings listening to the ocean. The resort staff were so proud of their resort and you can tell they genuinely want to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

Loved having the place to ourselves and the lovely bamboo house and the quietness of the surroundings. Hermit crabs we're amazing as was sleeping so close to the ocean and hearing the waves all the time.
A bit more variety in the menu would be awesome but otherwise perfect.

we stayed 3 nights at Les Maisons D’Itac and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was fantastic, loved the platter of fresh fruit. Bryan was a lovely host, he organised for us the transport as well as canyoneering which was a great experience! We also enjoyed a swim in the pool after a day of activities.
something to bare in mind is that the location is slightly far from all the bars & restaurants so you will definitely need a scooter or arrange transport if you want to eat out.
