Absolute great Hotel - Staff were amazing throughout. Food is good (a bit salty for our taste but good). We spent 9 days there which is a bit long since there is not so much to do but we found it very relaxing. Snorkeling right in front of the hotel, went diving a few times (nice corals and turtles, barracuda etc), and enjoyed the salt water pool with our kids aged 2,7,11.
Some folks might be upset that there is no wifi in some room but we loved it. Restaurant area has great wifi. Everything else was perfect.

Everything. Staff were incredibly friendly, location was ideal for relaxing, food was the best we had in Philippines. Also did 2 dives on the north side of the island. Looc was a great, relaxing dive site
Cost of transfer. Feels like an unnecessarily expensive cost. We stayed 3 nights and the cost of 2x people return transfer was nearly the same price as the accommodation. Given there is no alternative feel this is a little underhanded. For comparison our private transfer from Caticlan airport to our resort on Boracay was 1/3rd the price

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful! Make sure you ask for details about the day trips offered: we did not, and while it was interesting, most of the day was spent in the van, driving from one place to another. The bar was well-stocked, and the pool & pool area are comfortable. The view is gorgeous, with lovely sunsets over Cebu Island, in the distance. The resort is on a small island off Bohol, and transport from the airport to the resort was about 2 hours. Make sure you book their transport, we certainly could not have arrived without their pickup! The final leg of the journey is about 30 minutes on a traditional banca. The location is super tranquil and chill, but the beach at the resort is not swimable. There is a nearby public sand beach (3 minute walk) where it is easier to enter the sea. Make sure you have good water shoes for getting to and from the banca when leaving and arriving to the island.
The wifi in the rooms was extremely weak and water pressure in the shower was very weak. There are no kettles or fridges in rooms, and all food and drink is a la carte. The only thing we did not pay extra for was water (and they give refillable metal water bottles). The food was ok, but not great. The kitchen needs to be trained to cook eggs well: we went to the kitchen to explain how to make sunny side-up eggs. We had 2 meals at the resort next door, which had a much better variety and quality of food, and was the only other option for meals that we found.

We had a great stay as we were alone in the resort, so like a private resort just for us!! Mafete and all the staff was amazing. Excellent communication. The Suite was amazing, with a 5 star bathroom! I fully recommend this place

beautiful location, great facilities with a nice bar and beautiful swimming pool. Great dive center and beautiful dives there, not too far from the hotel (5mn boat ride)
The bedroom is not the best (but the bed is very comfortable) especially the bathroom and the water- heating system could be better.

Very well managed resort, with execellent staff and great food. Most of the dive sites are within 5 - 10 minutes of the resort, so great if you are travelling with family or non divers. Very efficient transfer service from Panglao Airport (Bohol) - about 2 hours.

The rooms, the dining hall, the swimming pool everything was EXTREMELY clean. the staff was superb and constantly aware of every guest’s needs. The diving equipment is brand new and the guides are well-trained for every kind of dive, from entry-level to more advanced ones. This resort is a pure gem, lucky who can find it out.
Honestly, NOTHING.

Very comfortable Friendly and welcoming staff.
The Resort’s Dive Shop operator (Ron) is a genuinely nice helpful guy and a good choice if you are looking for a dive.
Very good snorkelling right out the front and along the drop-off heading southwards past Polaris Resort and Cabilao Sunset Resort.
We loved the bakery in the tiny tin shed near the school in the centre of the island.
A boat that travels direct between Sandingan Island Pier and the Resort will cost about 800 pesos. It is possible to get much cheaper boats from Sandingan Island Pier to Cabilao Island (costing as little as 30 pesos), however these drop you off quite a long distance from the Resort and the only transport available on Cabilao Island appears to be on the back of motorbikes (ie no good if you have large items of luggage).

Lovely and peaceful location and atmosphere, friendly and professional team ( both hotel and dive shop), clean and comfy rooms, great dive shop and diving, good restaurant
No WiFi in the room(I had standard room), but it’s not a big deal
