Arogantní personál - ke snídani jsme asi podle národnosti dostávali menší výběr ovoce, nedostali jsme ráno oproti druhým ani džus - na pokoj jsme nedostali vodu

Super sympa mais chaud la nuit

Le personnel est vraiment sympa et souriant , le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié (possible d’avoir une box si départ tôt pour excursions) la piscine et le jardin sont très agréable et la chambre grande et jolie

Dans les chambres il fait très chaud car le ventilateur (et le frigo) ne tourne pas à plein régime (problème d’alimentation électrique apparemment) Nuit compliqué donc.

Excellent!!

We had an amazing stay at Mawimbi Bungalows. We stayed here for 3 nights and liked it so much so we decided to come back. The staff was kind and amazing truly. The property was beautiful.

Lovely stay, on a beautiful compound

Very beautiful compound and it looked so picturesque, the food was also good and the breakfast was adequate. Carla the owner was so friendly and always made an effort to check in with us and see how we were doing which was nice

Our check in was very delayed which had a knock on effect to the rest of our day. We were told we could check in from 12PM, we arrived around 1PM and we couldn’t get into our room until after 2:40PM. Not that I didn’t like, but I wish the portion sizes of the food was bigger, the food was very nice though!

False reviews- the “amazin pool” was under construction; I did not write that!

Nice set up & property if everything worked properly.

The pool was under construction for the entirety of our stay and was lied about to us by the owner. Someone using my name and nationality then left a review on Booking.com stating “amazin pool” and giving the property a 10/10. There was no other Laura from Ireland staying at the property on the same dates as me nor was there a working pool so this too seemed suspicious. The review also commented on the food which was average at best, and took far too long in the kitchen; (almost 1 hour for bruschetta). The power cut out several times a day throughout our stay often leaving us hot & in the dark with no prior warning. Each of these issues should be sorted, and I truly hope that no one involved in the property is falsifying reviews, though it seems so and would explain why the score on booking.com does not match the service we received. I am an avid user of booking.com and usually trust the reviews left 100% so this overall was a very disappointing experience.

Beautiful traditional Zanzibar accommodation

Beautiful location about 5 minutes walk from the beach. Traditional bungalow style accommodation which was very clean. Carla and the staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made an effort to get to know us which really made the visit more personal. Carla also arranged our trips/taxis and gave us great restaurant recommendations.

It was all excellent. The only negative was the pool was under renovation but it wasn't a problem as the beach is close by.

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Eine Wohlfühloase mitten in Nungwi.

Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wurde täglich frisch auf Wunsch zubereitet (frisches Obst, Kaffee, Ei-Variationen, French Toast Porridge). Es gab viele Entspannungsmöglichkeiten, wie Hängematten und Liegen. Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Man fühlt sich mit den zwei Hotel Hunden und dem freundlichen Personal sehr wohl und familiär. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Reposant mais nécessite quelques entretiens ( piscine, lits, …). Ce n’est pas le meilleur rapport qualité prix.

L’architecture, le jardin et le personnel sont top. Le cadre de façon générale est jolie et reposant

La piscine n’est pas entretenu, les chiens se promènent n’importe comment. Les chambres ne sont pas équipées d’un réfrigérateur, ni de climatiseur. Les lits en ciment sont bon par contre ceux en bois font du bruits juste en se tournant sur le lit. Les Chambres ont des rideaux transparents, ce qui laisse rentrer la lumière et vous réveille très tôt … et pour le prix payé, même pas des bouteilles d’eau gratuites, juste de l’eau dans les carafes.

Brilliant stay in beautiful apartments

We loved the staff, and there are Masaai men who work here and are so kind and lovely. We felt very safe there and well looked after

The food was ok, we tended to eat out a lot. Dinners were better than the breakfasts, but bread doesn’t seem to be a big thing here.

The bungalows are just 5 minutes on foot from beautiful nungwi beach, which is full of restaurants, beach bars, mini market e.t.c. The stuff is always with a big smile and ready to help you in what ever you need.. We had an accident with our car and Carla helped us to solve it very quick and don't loose our day.. Highly recommended....

Amazing. We did not stop smiling.

The breakfast was lovely every morning, freshfruit, juice and a hot option aswell. The pool was great and very relaxing. Everything was walking distance from the bungalows. The staff were fantastic and friendly. We couldnot of asked fora better stay.

The location and the way they help you organize boat trips ans excursions. Breakfast very good.

Lunch and dinner not recommended here, there are better restaurants nearby. During the dinner there was a Masai show which was too loud for the night.
