location was ideal from train station and on a less than busy street. walking distance to anything you want to see.
Can’t find a fault other than lot of steps if you don’t want to wait for the only elevator.

Very central. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff
The lift has a frustrating stop at level 1 when you are going up or down.

Location & bathroom. So nice about keeping my luggage after check out!

The location is perfect. All the main attractions are so close. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room 302 is large, airy, and very clean. The breakfast room is very clean and well organised. Breakfast coffee is served with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again.
The stairs from the front door to the lift are a challenge for me to carry a case up and down but there is a stair lift and the friendly staff are happy to help.

We loved the location, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The room was spacious and cool on very hot days. The breakfast was a welcome surprise. A good selection and cute little dining room. Staff were friendly.
The lift was tiny and always stopped on Level 1 no matter what you pushed. There was also a flight of stairs before you got to the lift - but I did notice a chair lift for those who couldn’t walk. Was just hard lugging our luggage up them.

Right in the middle of Florence, everywhere were in walking distance. Frienze Santa Monica Novella station was an easy 8 minutes walk. My room on the 5th floor was very large and clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff and the receptionist Luca were very helpful. Will definitely stay here again

The hotel is in a perfect location. We were amazed at how close we were to everything. Minutes from the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and more. The building is easy to access for the most part. There is an elevator but there are a few steps up to get to the elevator, so be aware of that. There is a lift for wheelchairs (we did not use it so I can’t attest to its functionality but it was present).
The room was a good size with a fridge including a mini-bar with items reasonably priced. The beds were a bit firm for my taste. They were springy type mattresses. Some may like this. The pillows were nice. The attached bathroom was very roomy and had everything you might need (including a bidet and towel warmer). Shower was roomy with plenty of hot water at a nice water pressure.
The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. They never ran out of anything. We both had ridiculously early checkout times and the hotel had breakfast boxes ready for us. Really nice. All of the staff were very kind and accommodating (some more so than others). Cecilia in particular was wonderful. They will also arrange taxi service for you to the airport upon departure.
There’s nothing that I disliked about the property. I suppose that if I could change anything it might be to eliminate those first set of steps to get to the elevator. (That would be hard to do though.)
We did find some things that a previous guest left behind tucked into the back of a drawer in the wardrobe, easy to miss. The staff was embarrassed and very apologetic. We totally understood how this could happen and be missed. The room was clean overall.
Be warned, there are mosquitoes in Italy… of course. We wanted to sleep cooler so we left a window cracked. Big mistake! This is not the hotel’s fault, just wanted everyone reading this to consider this. The hotel does provide bug zappers. We just thought it was cool enough not to worry about it. After the first night, we rectified our mistake.
It’s an old building so you should know the walls can be thin in spots. We had very rude, noisy neighbors. We handled it ourselves by banging on the wall (the neighbors immediately quieted down). I’m sure that had we said something to the staff, they would have taken care of us.

Location - central Florence and also near the central train station. Everything is in a walking distance
The room has a lovely florentine style.

The hotel is very close to the center of Florence, best location in town, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lady at the counter helped me get my rental car into and out of a nearby garage, offered a lot of information and help make my room warmer.
The room looked and felt outdated, significantly worse than in the photos on booking.com. Rooms are advertised as soundproof but you can hear every neighbor and every car passing by outside. It was rather cold and the room AC controls do not work. Breakfast only available from 7:30 so if you need to leave earlier you won't catch it. Altogether, it felt like an average 2-star hotel, way too costly just for being in the center of Florence.

Only the girl who was helping at breakfast.
Booking! The room i was given was not shown on any photos, infact its not even a room, its a space in the roof!!
I was totally deceived, "booking you are to blame as well as the hotel", i travel extensively and to be honest many hotels are not what they make out to be!
This hotel is just doing the minimum, the problem is places like Florence are in demand so the hotels get away with lack of effort, knowing there will be another tourist tomorrow.
Well im not just a tourist, i know the difference, im not saying the hotel was terrible, but theres alot of room for improvement to say the least.
As for this room "space" in the roof, its not acceptable, unfortunately i will now look at the rooms before booking, so i will probably not trust booking or any hotel website photos
The only concern they had was if you paid the city tax, not if you had a good stay ect.....
So there you go, an honest review, what will you do about it booking!

Nothing....... maybe the 50 euro discount received.
1. Unfriendly staff at Reception.
2. Reception on 1st floor.....extremely small/ slow. Staff uses the lift to clean rooms. Leaving customers waiting for lift.
3. Halfway thru breakfast, the food on display runs out. Very limited..scramble eggs and cut vienna's.
4. On arrival there was a fold up bed in room in stead of a round table and chairs.
5. Bed sheet wasn't changed every night.
6. Dirty PLASTIC CUP WAS LEFT for 2 days.
7. On last night....realise the room wasn't cleaned. Old tissues lying on floor.
