The property manager and all of her staff were amazing and courteous. Once we got settled going to nearby attractions was just a few minute walk. The food was really good especially the pepperoni pizza, can't recommend it enough. Please pay Ann and her team a visit, it would be worth your stayin Ayr.
Could use some renovation on the room bathrooms and rooms.

Great value for money, staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was happy and had everything I needed.

Public areas were lovely and the breakfast was fabulous.
The bedroom was in need of some tlc. Mattress was very thin. Pillows were absolutely done. Whole room needed redecorated. Wallpaper was peeling and the sink in the bedroom needs moved into the bathroom as the chair in front blocked access. Also there were no bedside lamps. We had to use the torches on our phones.

The property is a lovely old building close to the town centre and beach.
The food and staff were exceptional we really were made to feel welcome and enjoyed our stay
We would definitely return
The only little grumble was the shower was quite weak but it’s not really a grumble. As was so clean and so welcoming

Everything about the staff and hotel was great.Fabulous cooked breakfast for so reasonable price. We have stayed 3 times now. Friendly and welcoming hotel and bar.
No problems from Booking.com; but OYO booking service are terrible and chaotic.. One time we booked directly with them. As we had stayed before, we contacted hotel directly and hotel staff sorted problem out.

Room was not what we expected .We booked twin room en suite what we got was a room with a toilet shower room. The sink was in the bedroom !! Nothing like the photo of the room we had booked.

Clean room, good location, friendly staff.
Parking is very tight or unavailable due to the bar/restaurant patrons - beware. Heating available but no A/C.

Great staff, very clean and we got an early check in as we were going to a wedding and the staff helped and booked us a taxi as well. Absolutely brilliant, can't thank them enough.
Nothing to complain about

I arrived very early in the morning after a delay of almost 24 hours. The staff greeted me and made me feel very welcome. The room was beautiful, with a little comunal garden - perfect for some chill nightgazing. Many amenities and excellent water pressure made me feel super good after my delay.

Good price, good location. Friendly check-in. Amenities such as coffee and tea service in the room, TV, and shampoo provided.
Going through the dining room to get to my room was a bit uncomfortable, but only on my part, since folks there seemed friendly enough. There seemed to be no heat from the radiators.

Staff and also local customers were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. So much so that we have decided to visit again. Beer from own Ayr Brewery next door was very tasty. Room had lots of extras despite budget price. Hotel was quirky but comfortable.
Just be aware that hot and cold sink taps in Room 3 seem wrong way round. Otherwise perfect for us.

Very friendly & welcoming staff. Exceptional breakfast. Staff worked hard to maintain cleanliness. Location is fab, very central.
Very uncomfortable bed, could feel the springs in mattress. Room a bit cramped, chair in front of sink so difficult to gain access to. Room faced the road & single glazing so was a bit noisy.

Great staff, good facilities, nice bar, good vibes, dog friendly 😀
The road outside was a little busy, not the hotels fault, it just is.

For a "budget" hotel, this was exceptional. Very clean and had all the facilities we required for a short break. The staff are very friendly. The welcome was warm both from them and the many locals who use the smashing wee bar. That real cask ales were on sale from the on-site Ayr Brewing Company was an added bonus for us.
No food is served on Mondays and Tuesdays. We would have liked to try the daily "specials" available on all other days but there were plenty of alternatives nearby and we'll definitely revisit on other weekdays.
