Relaxing. Will definitely come again

The hotel was in a quiet location but still within walking distance of all amenities. It was clean and well looked after. The apartment had everything you could need. And the swimming pool area was lovely. The owner went out of his way to help.

We got what we paid for.

The property for the price was good. Good location for bus stops, (though I would not rely on the buses. They were full a lot of the time so stopped you getting on) restaurants and the beach. The pool was lovely, and the sun beds were very comfy. The cleaning ladies were so lovely and did a superb job. The beds are very comfy also.

The facilities were very basic. There was no toaster and the grill took a very long time. No scissors. The pool needs stricter rules. There were ball games being played quite frequently, where people were trying to relax. Quite a few people got up and left as they were being hit by the balls. In most hotels ball games aren’t permitted by the pool. The street it’s on is a little rough and it’s very unclean. But that’s not something the property can do anything about.

הליכה של 10 דקות מבית חבד וטברנה יאסו(כשר). מתאים לשומרי כשרות שרוצים להכין במקום. היה שירות חדרים כל יום מקום רגוע ושקט

אין פקיד בקבלה כך שלהזמין מונית הופך לאתגר או סתם לעזרה אם צריך משהו (בלי קשר שקשה להתנייד ברודוס בלי רכב כי המוניות מאוד יקרות ואפשר למצוא רכב ממש בזול)

המקום מתוחזק מאוד מאוד, סוג ישן אבל ממש מטופח. המיקום מצוין 7-10 דקות מבית חבד. בריכה מההממת וגדולה, וצוות ניקיון מדהים!! ביקשנו שיביאו לנו מגבות וטישו, אחרי 3 דקות הגיע בשפע....... אחלה מקום מבחינתי לחזור לשם.

אין מזגן בסלון/מטבח, היינו בתחילת ספטמבר והיה חם.

Relaxing, spacious and family friendly!

Homely apartment complex, with spacious rooms, nice pool, short walk to pebbled beach, and all the recommendations and support you could need for a great stay in Ixia. Despite wild fires in the south of Rhodes causing power cuts, we had a gorgeous time - reassured by hotel staff. Would 100% recommend this wonderful, family-run space.

Great apartments, with a bar, a good pool and plenty of deck chairs, grass, and shade to relax by. Well situated as you can easily walk to lots of restaurants and the beach, and also drive into the island a bit to explore the towns. Staff were all friendly and helpful

Beautiful place with the loveliest staff! They went above and beyond to make our stay incredible!

The WiFi didn’t quite reach our room but it worked very well in the reception area and by the pool so wasn’t really an issue for us.

A cost effective hotel / apartment that is worth carefully considering

We booked a vacation at short notice, after first considering the Ixian Grand and Sheraton, which both seemed expensive at £3000 each. So, we tried Martina Hotel / Apartments, which cost just £1100. Obviously we realised there would be some trade-offs in terms of comfort, but a saving of £2000 is definitely worthwhile. This is what we discovered: The Ixian Grand is just a 5 minute walk in one direction, whilst the Sheraton is a 20 minute walk in the other direction. So, you will find yourselves in an area that services some of the the very best hotels. The Martina Hotel / Apartments, is situated in a mainly middle class suburb, off the main road, which limits road noise, relatively close to some excellent and affordable bars and restaurants. The garden and pool are are very well designed and well maintained. The rooms are clean, relatively large, and well equipped with kitchen facilities. The floors are tiled meaning they are kept scrupulously clean, although if you are on a lower floor, you will certainly hear the people in the room above you. The owners are involved in the running of the Hotel / Apartments, and sometimes use it as a base for their own social activities, which can conflict with the needs of the customers. We also found the bar music played very late into the night even when the bar was empty. However, the owners were always very helpful, even though they did not automatically put their customers first. Summary: this place has enormous potential, and with more effective management, could command a much higher price, because it has all the necessary ingredients to be a leading hotel / apartment destination.

The pool area looks nice, has a bar and comfortable seats. The location is good, near a bus stop (10-15min to rhodos town) and a 15 min walk to a nice beach. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood on walking distance. The bed is comfortable. kitchen and bedroom are fine.

We would have liked to know beforehand that from 9 in the morning until midnight there is very loud music at the pool area. We didn’t come to hear loud rock or dance music all day long at the pool or when you want to sit outside in the evening. When asked to turn it off (we were the only people at the pool area at that time) the answer was no because it should stay on for when guests came out. (he did turn the volume down a little for us which was nice, but in about 20 minutes it was back to very very loud again). Because of this, we did not like to be outside in the evening and this resulted in staying inside the appartment because we didn’t want to eat out every day. (we could hear it in the appartment but not in the bedroom btw, so no lack of sleep because of it. the bedroom was on the other side of the appartment as opposed to the bar/pool). About the appartment: is tidied up every day, so good service. However, the shower is very small and uncomfortable. mostly because of the shower curtain and the fact that the drain was overflowing every time. Also, the window in the kitchen has a curtain that was clearly broken so all the sunshine came in, which made it very hot when we came home (luckily there was airco). you can look inside from outside.

Pool was super nice! Rooms were very spacious and clean! Loved the kitchenette and refrigerator Terrace is nice Very friendly and welcoming staff Excellent price/quality!

If I need to say one thing, it would be: drinks at the pool were a bit expensive There is not so much to do in the area, but that was perfect for us as we wanted to relax for some days before exploring the island. However, Rhodos city is very close and only a couple of bus stops away!

Superb

Friendly staff who helped solve any problems. At an important moment, we were given an umbrella to use. Beautiful and well maintained area. It takes 7-10 minutes to walk to the nearest beach. Also after 600 meters there is a large spar supermarket and a gas station. Nearby there is a bus stop and many interesting restaurants.
