About this apartment rental

Life is better at the beach! Relax and rejuvenate in our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. Retreat to the master with king bed, smart TV and a private bath (large shower), while guests stay in the guest BR (utilizing the full guest bathroom with tub/shower). We are located in a very quiet and secluded setting under the oak trees at the back of the resort complex. Our 1,100 square foot, first floor condo has a large kitchen/living space, luxury vinyl plank floors, and a cozy feeling with even an e- fireplace! There is NO ELEVATOR and you must be able to navigate a few stairs to access our condo. Come enjoy the beach!

*Guest bedroom can be converted from 2 twins to short king

NOTE WORTHY:

*Approximately 10 minute walk from the condo to the Sadler Road public beach access (& only 0.2 miles to Beach Access 24). This Sadler Road access is one of the best on the beach with public restrooms, picnic tables, a foot washing station, a beach-front restaurant (i.e. Sliders), and plenty of parking if you choose to drive rather than walk to the beach.

Great location, walking distance to the beach and a short drive to Centre St the place for dining and entertainment. The condo is in a nice quiet complex and fairly well stocked. This is an older complex and it and the condo are showing their age and could use some updating.

This property is perfect for a family stay on Amelia Island. It is large enough for the family to spread out, and the patio is a nice space to have a drink and relax after a long day on the beach. We really appreciated the chairs and beach towels for guests to use. the beach is a quick and easy walk away, and there are great restaurant options either a walk or quick drive away. I highly recommend this property if your family is looking for a relaxing time on Amelia Island!

The property was accurately described and in a great location. The condo was well-stocked with all the supplies a family needs to last the week. There were plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for us to use. There were also plenty of bath towels and beach towels available for our use. The beach was accessible by a short walk, but also easily accessible via a short drive to any of the public beach accesses. We preferred to drive to Main Beach Park or the public beach access at Sliders. Again, a great location for my family to spend the week. We would absolutely rent this condo again!

My family and I had an excellent stay at the Lazy Turtle! The apartment was super clean and a great location, only a short walk out to the beach. Sandy was also very easy to get in touch with and offered us some flexibility to make sure we had a great trip. This was our first trip to Amelia Island but I’d certainly stay here again for any future visits!

This was our fourth time staying in Forest Ridge- it's such an easy walk to the beach! Check-in was smooth and Sandy was responsive to my messages. I really appreciate the little details like blackout curtains, nightlight for kids, and tons of towel hooks! Beach towels and chairs provided saved us a lot of space in the car. We really enjoyed it!

This is a reasonably priced condo on Amelia Island, something that is tough to find. It is a little older, but it was fine for four adults. The beach access is just two blocks away. There are some condo rules you need to follow, especially about parking, but nothing out of the ordinary. Just read the information that Andy and Sandy send you. They are very quick to answer any questions.

The condo was clean, furniture and bedding was comfortable, and location was a very short walk to the beach. The only unfortunate thing was the lack of a view to anything but the neighbor condo less than 20 yards away. This wouldn’t be an issue but our 2 week stay just happened to be cooler weather than we had hoped for so we did spend more time inside than usual. No fault of the owners; can’t control the weather! Kitchen was well equipped and it was nice having laundry inside the unit. Overall, a good option for exploring Amelia Island and the surrounding area.

This is a beautiful property, nestled in the back of the community. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach! We enjoyed getting up early every morning and walking to see the sunrise. The beach access is right there with bunnies and go for tortoises and amazing Sea dunes. The condo itself comes with everything one would need and is beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving with family and it accommodated everyone with space. I would definitely recommend this property and Lister and when we go to this area will look them up!!
