A very beautiful place near the mountains and rivers of Shëngjergj.
The host, his wife and employee are super nice people. English and Italian spoken.
The rooms are very clean. The food is all fresh and home made - delicious.
It is a place to relax and enjoy nature away from the hectic city. Their garden is very beautiful and relaxing.
Vila Disha is a place to be.
Highly recommended.

The breakfast was simple but very satisfying and delicious--it was farm fresh eggs, fig jam, honey, breads and cheese. Everything I had from their restaurant was so rich and tasty. My favorite part of my time there was roaming around their property picking wild blackberries, figs, and grapes to snack on. The location was remote, but it was off the main road. It was the right kind of quiet with enough people around for the type of retreat and peaceful stay I was looking for. The host and his family were very accomodating and pleasant, hardworking people. I communicated fine with English. I would recommend a stay here if you're looking for an authentic experience and a peaceful and quiet stay. Also, I appreciated their help with transportation getting to and from their location from the city! Five stars!
The bed I had wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked but I still slept OK. And, a few mornings I woke up early because I could hear the footsteps from the guests above me. Other than those minor things, I had absolutely NO real complaints!

It's a wonderful place, run by a hard working family, always doing their best to satisfy their guests with meals prepared with vegetables from their own garden, everything organic, home baked bread and local food in the restaurant that's located on the property and where they serve also a wonderful breakfast with fresh cow's milk and eggs from their free-range chickens (that are sometimes on the menu as well). There's a big garden, with big terraces where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and the surrounding mountains. It's a great hiking area. The room is cozy with a fireplace and sheepskins on the floor. It's a pity I was there in July... There's no airco in the room, but honestly, you don't need it. It was around 26 degrees outside every day, and the room was cool, just open the window and the door, and there's always a breeze. The owner also organizes hiking tours in the nearby mountains. For people who don't come by car, there's a bus from there to Tirana at least 4 times per day.
The shower is a bit unpractical, next to the sink, but the water temperature is stable.

Excellent family run hotel in the mountains with a lovely restaurant and garden attached. 1 hour from Tirana. (The owner arranged transport for us). The restaurant has excellent food made from local ingredients (either from the garden or the surrounding village) excellent meat, breakfast also v good. Nice hiking in the local area (ask the owner for routes) and there are lakes you can visit and swim.

There was all wonderful. All was as expected, quiet surroundings, nice garden and good rooms.

a unique place run by a wonderful family, a place where you will get to know Albania different from the popular resorts. Delicious meals, friendly owners, wonderful location. A unique place for a few days of relaxation. A village like years ago at the grandparents' place.

Amazing location in beautiful nature with great views and many hiking trails and a few lakes to swim in it´s surroundings. Very friendly owner (who speaks well english) and his family, also the people in the village are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden to chill in. Cozy and clean room. Absolutely delicious home-made food. Good choice when you don´t have the car, since the bus goes there every day and it takes less than 1 hour from Tirana. If you like animals, there are cats, chickens and the dog on the property and many other animals like turtles, frogs, lizards, interesting bugs or herds of cows, sheep and goats in the nature around - Every day we saw some interesting animals on our trips. Definitely not our last vacation in Albania and if we happen to be in this part of the country again, we gladly come back to stay in Vila Disha.
I have nothing bad to say. We were completely satisfied!

the place is beautiful, if you want to escape from the city and enjoy a day in nature this is the place. The staff is super friendly and they all speak English. If it is your first time in Albania has the chef to make a mix platter for you, trust me you don’t regret it. The room was very clean and comfortable. Wifi only works near the bar but it’s ok because you’re here to disconnect from the routine.
I didn’t have any issues

The hospitality trying to accommodate any requests. The food was all natural and homegrown and organic. The place is family owned property that is surrounded by amazing view. You should never miss the sunset time with some herbal tea or the morning breakfast under the garden trees. I would like to thank Besi and all his family for the effort they made to make my stay memorable.
There are some minor condition issues but this won't spoil your stay, guaranteed.

Great location in the countryside with fantastic views from both the room window and the dining room. Nice breakfast made from home-made products and nice attitude of the owners.
I was a little surprised that 22 kilometers have to drive an hour to this place will certainly not be suitable for those who want to quickly "run" from the city to the countryside.

I liked everything
It's located in small village surrounded by mountains. Owners and host were super friendly. Food was all traditional, local, home made and delicious. Room was very clean. Wood for fireplace provided every evening. Smart TV. Good WiFi. Plenty of tracks near by to walk or hike. I rented a bicycle in Tirana and cycled to the villa. I spent there 4 days cycling and hiking. Had a great time away from the city. Great place. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay in Villa Disha. The hosts welcomed us with a nice drink in their beautiful garden. The place is located in a spectacular spot with stunning views on mountains and vineyards. From the beautiful garden you can enjoy these nice views while tasting amazing food and drinks. During an excursion in the mountain we even saw beautiful eagles!
The location is very easy to reach though, with any kind of car. Besi, the owner, is a great host. Super friendly and always willing to help. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
We enjoyed very much spending some time with him and we had lots of fun!
The food was exceptional. They prepare everything using genuine ingredient from their organic vegetable garden that you can also see by going for a walk down the hill. The room was super clean and very comfortable!
I highly recommend to visit Villa Disha!

If you’re seduced by the 20 euro price for a room, just know that in reality it’s 30 and they would contact you to tell there’s a mistake on the website.
We booked a room at Vila Disha last minute, arrived late in the evening. The road to the place is fresh and easy to drive (which is precious in Albania).
The room is spacious and clean with a nice small bathroom and a terrace. We had a drink outside before going to bed. We had to leave the room by 10 am the next morning, quite early, even though we could still chill outside or in the bar.
Their homemade breakfast included was amazing.
Besi, the owner and cooking chef came to us to introduce himself, kind and easy-going person. We had a nice chat, he and the staff took great care of us.
Besi’s family was around so we hung out with kids in the garden. He cooked us a nice vegetarian lunch and suggested going for a swim in a lake nearby.
We drove in his 4x4 through steep and dangerous gravel roads into the wilderness. You need to be an experienced driver from the area to get there.
It was a precious heartfelt moment we shared, Besi talking about his homeland and life.
Back at the villa, he gave us a handwritten bill and we were surprised to discover it was 85 euros total. So Besi charges around 20 euros for the ride which he didn’t mention before going.
There were two more coffees that we didn’t drink and as we said before the room was 30 and not 20 euros per night.
After our numerous recounts in a cringy ambience, the total went down to around 55 euros. We paid cash and took off feeling sorry to have spent a marvelous time and to leave on this bad note.
This villa is a real treasure hidden in the mountains where everything you’d eat comes from the garden or the farm and is delicious and generously served.
We wish Besi and his family all the success they deserve but they need to be clearer on the prices they charge in order to avoid bitter ends like this.

We appreciated their hospitality and kindness. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. Great home-cooked meals were prepared from their own organic garden. We had a very comfortable stay, the bedrooms were cozy and clean. The place is surrounded by nature. We enjoyed hanging out in their garden. We even got to help harvest some fruits and vegetables. We had a lot of fun going to the lake with the owner/manager. If you need a quick getaway from the city, we recommend Vila Disha!

Our stay at Vila Disha was the last part of our trip through Albania and I gotta say, it was the perfect ending. You pretty much are located right in what feels like paradise between mountains. The views are stunning and mother nature sure did a magnificent job around that area. However, Besi, the owner of Vila Disha, and his team did whatever was in their power to make you feel like you´re in paradise too. We checked in quite late due to traffic jams and he welcomed us with nice food and a cold beer. The next day we realized that basically, everything around the main building is farmland that they use to produce the food we got served. And I truly mean everything, even the bread was made from the flour they produced from their own corn. The cheese was homemade, the honey was homemade, the jam, the veggies... Truly everything (except the beer), is homemade and cultivated in Vila Disha. Everything is produced ecologically and prepared with love. We had the best food at their place, and they also took great care of special wishes (we´re vegetarians, and trust me, no compromises were made regarding the richness of food we got served). But their hospitality didn´t end with our housing and food, also day time activities, tips for trips got supplied by Besi and his team with great care. Lastly, I have to mention the animals... as someone living in a big city, it was so nice to be so close to nature. You truly had the feeling everything is in harmony over there, also the animals played a major role. Free-roaming chickens, ducklings, baby kittens, cute doggos, and even a bunny. At times we felt like we´re in a Disney movie! I will definitely come back to visit this place again, it has something magical that I´d recommend to everyone who would love to escape everyday life and get reminded of what actually matters.

There was nothing we didn't like.
This place is marvelous. It is far away from any civilization and you can enjoy the beauty and wilderness around. It is a small farm with many chicken, ducks, some cats and dogs.
The rooms were very clean and big. For this price you will not find a better place. Bathrooms are nice and you get hot water.
The food was probably the best we ever ate in Albania. The owners are very good cooks and know how to make traditional meals. The portions are really big. So you will not go hungry to bed.
The people there are really nice and helpful. They tried to make us a wonderful experience and the did. We can absolutely recommend this place.

Vila Disha is an amazing place! I can only recommend this place to everyone who visits the area. The house and rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable. The place has an own restaurant with home-made ingredients which make one of the best dishes I have ever eaten in my life! We tasted also the wine and raki of the host and they were truly delicious. The area where the house is located is like a dreamland. Winyards, orchards, mountains, truly spectacular! And above everything, which makes me say this place is an 11 our of 10 is the hospotality of the hosts: the place is run by a very friendly family who satisfied all our occurring needs. They speak English, Romanian, Italian so there were truly no problems with language barrieres. I loved the place, and would return any time!
Flawless place, nothing to complain about.
