We loved the hospitality and the warm vibe of the host and of the Riad. The breakfast was delicious, the terrace is really pretty!
The WiFi was a little slow, and the wardrobe was quite small but good enough for a short stay.

The family that operates this riad are warm and gracious people. They provide a deep enlightenment into Moroccan culture and values. We thoroughly enjoyed their gracious hospitality. The riad is impeccable.
We liked everything.

Our stay was wonderful. It is a beautiful moroccan traditional house and the family is so kind and warm. The decoration is exquisite, with lots of carefully picked details. Also very clean. We had a really nice stay. Thank you!

Friendly hosts. Nice location which was pretty easy to find near the entrance to the old Medina. Comfortable, cool rooms and a nice terrace with good views. Good breakfast.
There was a minor room mix-up when we arrived but it wasn't a big problem and was resolved quickly

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riad. Samira and her parents were lovely and kind. I felt safe and welcomed since I was traveling solo. The family have bunch of experiences to offer from hamam to cooking tajin... The father picked me up and dropped me off to the airport for extra fees which was very convenient. The riad itself was beautiful with stunning rooftop and good view. My flight was afternoon, so they let me stay extra time after check out which I really appreciate it.

The experience at the Dar Khalid was simply unforgettable.
For starters the building is absolutely adorable, with its ornaments and beautiful terrace (where you can relax and enjoy the view)
The position is perfect, walking distance from every point of interest.
The breakfast also is very rich and the food super tasty!
And last but not least, the hosts are AMAZING. Samira is caring, helpful and super fun to talk to, no matter any possibile language barrier.
If you are looking for a full tradizional experience in Marrakech this is the place you want to stay at. Super recommended!

Everything, from the super nice terrace to the great breakfast. Amazing location in a quiet street in the Medina.
Me and my brother loved Samira and her family. We will keep them always in our heart. They made our stay in Morocco warm and very special ❤️
I will definitely come back there next time in Marrakech.
Everything amazing!

Great location in the medina but away from the main streets and thus super quiet. (Difficult to find though, and there is no signage). The place is run by a very warm family and they offer delicious home cooked meals for a good price. The terrance was a great place to have breakfast or look at the colors of the sunset. Breakfast was good, the same everyday.
Quite difficult to find without mobile connection so we ended up asking people and was understandably asked for money by someone who led the way for us (we didn't have cash right away so the man came by several times fyi). Gotta love the persistence :)
The bathroom is open into the room, a bit strange and one of had to leave the room for the other to use the toilet.
Wifi is quite terrible.
Also, the daughter of the family offered us a local hammam experience for 25euros that included hammam, scalp massage and a body massage. It was in an old rundown local facility where the locals bathe, costs 1euro entry, bathed in the same room with everyone else, got the exfoliation which I severely needed, my hair washed with my own shampoo but no scalp massage, and a quick 5 minutes mini body massage. All laying down on a public mat and using a previously used exfoliation glove. I'm just stating the facts, you can make an opinion for yourself. We had cancelled a 55euro 2hr hammam and massage at a beautiful modern clean spa and opted for this 'local experience' because it was oversold to us. Had she been more honest about what we were getting, not sure we would have chosen this. Quite overpriced for what it was, maybe 5euro worth but i understand it also pays for her as a 'guide'. Even so, please be honest.

Mrs. Samira's whole family was very friendly, the accommodation was completely above-standard for the small price, there were two terraces available, one with a view of the Marrakesh. the accommodation was a few steps from the main square. breakfasts were great and rich and always prepared according to the time you wish. There is nothing I can follow. I will definitely come back to this place

very nice localization, good price, clean, friendly and helpful personel, excellent breakfast, beautiful terrace and yard
sometimes there were problems with communication, because Samira doesn't speak English very well, but google translate came to help 😝

HOSPITALITY! It couldn't be better! Samira and her family were such helpful and caring hosts, felt like we were staying with family. The Riad is inside the Medina but very easy to access. The place was very beautiful and very clean. We could see how careful they were about everything. The breakfast was diverse and delicious... we didn't even feel like having lunch after ahah. I would honestly recommend this Riad to anyone looking to visit Marrakesh.

It was such a quite stay, in a beautiful property. Even though it's located in the middle of the medina you feel like you're in your own private oasis. There are a couple of narrow flights of stairs to go up if you're on the top floor but the hosts help you with your bags and the terrace is well decorated with a view over the top of the city. The people that push, the push carts from the taxi to the location expect from 40-100DH depending but won't tell you how much till they're dropping your bags at the front door. Thinking it would be relatively cheap we only had a 20 on us and that did not go over well. They are nice though and can help you find the property which is a bit hard in a foreign country outside my data coverage area. Oh, also the complimentary breakfast was awesome.
The bathroom door has a space at the top of it that feels a little awkward, like someone's going to come by to see you poop.

Excellent stay at Samira's riad. We chose to stay on the rooftop rooms, which are lovely and have a direct access to a terrace and to an upper rooftop. The riad also offers other beautiful rooms on the ground floor in a shaded and fresh environment. For us, staying on the rooftop was perfect and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are lovely, the bathroom is well equipped with excellent standard and new facilities. Samira and her family are super welcoming and we had such lovely conversations together. For a tiny charge you can have tea and moroccan patisserie handmade by Samira and I strongly encourage everyone to try it: they were the best pastries we have had in our long stay in Morocco and one of the highlight of our stay at Samira's.

The house was very pretty and in the traditional Riad style also with a nice rooftop with great view over the Medina. Samira and her family are amazing hosts who took amazing care of us and made sure that we are all having a great time including caring for a friend who was feeling ill. Highly recommend!!

These are the nicest people you will find in all of Morocco! There you are not just a guest in a hotel, but part of the family. The food is amazing, the rooms comfortable and clean. It is wonderful to relax on the beautiful roof terrace after a busy walk through the markets of the city.
