Great B&B on a great location

Beautiful new bedrooms and ensuites, large comfortable sitting room and kitchen. The fridge and pantry are well stocked with breakfast foods. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and even let you use their washing machine and dryer! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the coastal walk; and it's very quiet. I can wholeheartedly recommend this B&B

It rained on one day, but the great free museum in town was worth a visit.

Quiet location close to beach.

Choice of TV channels Located close to seafront and good coffee!. Self contained accommodation and self service breakfast.

Self service breakfast when sharing with other guests has its pitfalls. Whilst no fault of the owners, over a 2 night stay, from a full loaf, we only had 3 pieces of bread between the 2 of us. We brought some of our food and left it in the fridge. Other guests assumed this was supplied by the property and helped themselves. Suggest if bringing own foid future guests be label it.

Very comfortable accommodation, clean & spacious. Excellent hosts.

Perfect location for us, both the CBD & the beach were very close by. Plenty of choices for breakfast, we were spoilt.

This was our first experience staying in a B&B & we couldn't fault this place at all.

Had a great stay place was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast supplies were really good. Location not far from shops and NP town centre

I missed picking up in the add that we shared kitchen. Was a little awkward, however worked out OK in the end.

Shared unit

The spec is so high end. Beautiful unit with a stunning view. Electric blankets kept us warm on chilly nights. Huge range of breakfast options. Excellent value for what you get.

Despite saying they endeavour to not book strangers into the two rooms, both nights we stayed had others in the other room. It's not a huge deal but, because it is essentially a 2 bedroom unit with communal kitchen and lounge, it does mean you have to get dressed in order to make a cup of tea. Both sets of people were fine but, if it was someone you didn't want to share with, you'd be in trouble. There are locks on the doors so it is safe - just could be unpleasant.

Perfect

Everything was just perfect. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and warm when we arrived. The pantry was full and there was a large selection for breakfast. The place is located in a quiet area yet not very far from the center. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back for more than one night given the chance.

I asked for off street parking as a special request; they said yes but this was not available; I was very concerned for the security of things in my vehicle

A VERY VERY enjoyable few days spent in New Plymouth... in EXCELLENT accommodation :-)

Our accommodation was absolutely 10/10 EXCELLENT in all respects... the hosts had clearly thought of everything, even down to providing the very best quality toiletries and good pantry of breakfast foodstuffs ! :-) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only regret that we were not able to stay longer !

Proximity to beach with popup pizza restaurant within 200m was a bonus.

Smallish rooms but immaculate nonetheless. Hadn't picked up on the shared facilities but it wasn't a problem.

exceptionally well appointed, as good if not better than home very clean & comfortable well equipped kitchen great to have a hot tub views of the ocean & beach a short walk away

having another couple in the other bedroom, though they did leave early would’ve ideal for family group or 2 couples that are friends

Excellence with a view

Very well appointed with great range of breakfast options and quality bathroom toiletries. Friendly hosts. Beautiful location to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and views.

Perhaps there could be an option to book out both rooms for a single occupancy for extra cost? We liked and got on well with the other visitors but this may not always work well. A little bin for recycling could be a good addition too.
