Fabulous suite and comfortable stay in a Converted church chapel.

I think this was one of the most charming places I have ever stayed in my life. The chapel and its renovation is beautiful and I felt right at home. Antoine the host was super helpful and friendly and helped me with everything I needed. I highly recommend this place.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t stay longer. Till next time!

Memorable, with excellent host, inside the walls, with parking !

Authentic but modern renovation of this ancient chapel. Being within the old walled city made for an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. The parking at the door is a huge plus. Antoine was extremely responsive when we had an enquiry , and also offered some great suggestions of local restaurants as well as local sights outside the city.

It would have been nice to have English language channels like Netflix available (as we don’t speak French so couldn’t enjoy the TV.) But this is not offered as a criticism merely a suggestion

Quirky spacious apartment

Beautiful converted church, very spacious. Good location near to train station and sights. Great air-conditioning.

The furniture is quite old and tatty, the photos on the advert make the apartment look quite luxurious when it actually isn't. Shower is a hand held one.

Great apartment In the old city

Clean, centrally located and it was formerly a church. Interesting architecture. Kitchen let us have a quiet breakfast each day.

Sleeping area was a loft with the bathroom on the lower floor.

Nice location in the centre of Avignon

We really liked the location (a few minutes walk from the main sights in Avignon) and the fact that we could park our car just outside the apartment. Also, the host was reactive to our whatsapp messages. The apartment had all the facilities we needed (microwave, fridge and freezer, showerbath,...).

The smell in the apartment was not nice (maybe also due to the fact that it is an old building) and the apartment seemed dirty (sticky floor, mouldy walls, smelly bed linen and towels). Also, the airco was not able to get the temperature down upstairs (the peak temperature outside was 33 degrees), which forced us to throw our matress downstairs in order to be able to sleep.

Great location, appreciated parking, a comfortable stay that was well equipped.

We enjoyed the stay, we didn't meet the host and I think that would of been helpful than just a code at the door.

The apartment was very dark and the loft is not suitable for older people.

Great location, modern facilities inside of a very architecturally interesting old chapel. Very efficient use of space and lots of room.

Adding a few plants and/or pictures might "warm" it up a bit and add to the ambiance.

Previlledged!

Staying here is an distinct experience. It is a historic architecture but tactically remodeled inside to stay comfortable. The lightning are efficiently arranged so that to keep not too dark at night. The spectacular comes in the morning that the gentle sun light gradually streaming from the ceiling window figures out the room inside. It does not locate on the Main Street so very quiet whole day.

Nothing for me but somebody may want a bottle of shampoo too.

The apartment is in a picturesque, historic building which has been comfortably and tastefully renovated and is in a very central location, within a few minutes walk from Avignon Centre station and easy walking distance from all the main sights. The area is safe and quiet. The apartment is very well equipped, with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, kitchen gadgets and laundry facilities - everything you could possibly want or need. There was very good communication with our hosts, both before we arrived and during our stay. We were sent the door code beforehand, so were able to get into the apartment without difficulty. Antoine was in contact with us during our stay and came round very promptly to sort out a problem with the washing machine (which turned out not to be a problem, just that the door wasn’t closed properly!). He also agreed to look after our luggage when we arrived before the check-in time, but this turned out not to be necessary as our train was cancelled and we arrived later than we anticipated. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Antoine!

Great location, new modern apartment, very comfortable.

This is a charming apartment in an old church. The apartment itself new and modern and well equipped. The bed in particular is comfortable. The apartment we stayed in was on the ground floor, which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent with an easy walk to the main street, cafes, restaurants, and to the big attractions - the Palais du Pape, etc. The Parking was also a bonus. Loved the thick walls and all the charm. Wow!

We would have liked a Nespresso machine (but we were spoiled by our previous apartment).

great location. great bathtub.

when I rented the property I saw pictures of what it was gonna look like. It was not at all like that. We were not in a purple niche nor did we have a window. My husband scraped his head moving around the bed. The spiral staircase was scary going up and down.

I would stay there again now that I understand better what to expect and how to prepare for stay.

Manager came to sight upon check in and check out. Apartment was charming and well located if not as clean as we would have liked.

We did not receive directions on obtaining keys. Not sure what went wrong. There were no sheets for the fold out bed. Apartment could have been cleaner.

Lovely apartment let down by the bed and mosquitos

The location is in a quiet part of the old town but easy to get everywhere. Our apartment was on the ground floor so easy access with bags and great (free) parking. The apartment has a fantastic atmosphere.

The bed is very uncomfortable, the mattress urgently needs replacing. There was some areas in the bathroom that could be cleaner and the apartment needs to be fumed for mosquitos

During August the air con wasn’t up to the task.

Good kitchen facilities and good washing machine. Charming building.

The air conditioning wasn’t up to dealing with the heat. The bathroom was not very functional ie hand held shower and no curtain; poor ventilation. The internal spiral staircase meant that you had to leave your luggage in the living area and there wasn’t store for it. The television was small.

Unique, beautiful property, excellent location, lacking some cleanliness

The property was unique, historical, and very well located. The bed was quite big & comfortable. Nice cool A/C in the living room. The neighborhood was calm, and only eight minutes walk from the Square Agricol Perdiguier. Quick access to restaurants and supermarkets. Interior was beautiful and we had access to a full kitchen (iron, dish washer, oven, etc). There were also a lot of washing up tabs for dish-washer and washing machine. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Free parking on site.

The Q&A is incorrect regarding the accessibility of the accommodation. There are stairs (2 to 4 steps) to access the ground floor flat from every entrance, making it not accessible for wheelchair users. Lack of soap and toilet paper. No A/C in the bedroom. Latch mechanism for the shutters over the doors is dangerous (3 inch metal rebar protruding from the step and is very difficult to see - caused an injury). The bath was not that clean.

Modern experience in a classical building.

Great location within the walls of Avignon city, only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Well equipped with modern facilities; cosy and warm in winter. Parking adjacent to the Chapel is a bonus. The appartment is split over two levels with kitchen/living room downstairs and bedroom/bathroom up a spiral stair, so there is plenty of room. The structure of the chapel makes for an interesting architecture inside.

The apartment was not clean properly, especially bath tub which was quite dirty. The whole apartment had a mouldy smell .
