This is a lovely large, well equipped apartment in a happening part of Avignon. Close to shops and restaurants as well as the popular tourist spots like to Palais du Papes etc. Natural light and the ability to open windows and hear the local church bells chiming added to the character of the place. The local markets take place on this street on a Saturday - again such a bonus.
The apartment is on the top floor of a very old building with no lift. Also it is a long way from any parking and quite hard to get to by taxi as the road has recently been made into a pedestrian zone. It was challenging for us as we were travelling for some weeks and we had two very heavy suitcases.

Brilliant location for exploring Avignon with shops, bars & restaurants close by. Easy flat walk to rest of town including Pope’s Palace and railway station. Stylish and well-equipped. Spotlessly clean, roomy and quiet at night. The owner was very helpful when we had travel difficulties getting to Avignon.
Nothing, however it should be noted that, being on the top floor, access involves several flights of steps, some a little uneven. It’s important to remember to put lights on before ascending or descending them. A previous review commented that the door is down a narrow alley, but don’t let this put you off as it’s only a very short distance off a busy street and is well lit.

Location was central and convenient, within easy walking distance of all the major sites and with lots of cute squares and shopping nearby. The Saturday market was right in the street in front of the building, which was very fun.
It’s on the top floor, which had its pluses and minus. The plus is that you can see the rooftops and it was bright. There is also a little attic alcove which is cozy for reading and hanging out. The space is large and well decorated. My teenage daughter ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was large and comfortable. The extra bedding was much appreciated!
I had to book this place very last minute, as my other Booking.com reservation was suddenly canceled after we had actually arrived to ring the bell (it was MAISON DE FOGASSES - DO NOT BOOK, it was really a pain to get the cancellation after dragging our luggage there). The host was very quick to respond and to provide all the details for accessing the property; also very prompt when we had trouble locking the door on the way out etc.
Would not recommend for those who would have a lot of luggage to drag up the many flights of narrow stairs. We are young and fit and it was still not that easy.
Also would not recommend for those who might not like small, dark alleyways (eg if you’re a single female traveling alone and arriving after dark). We did not think it was in any way dangerous, but I would probably hesitate to rebook if I were traveling alone.

Stylish, very nicely equipped apartment: the owner REALLY thought what is needed to feel comfortable.
Like in a hotel, the we had a virtual concierge that would support us in whatever we needed. Thank you!

Great location, cute neighborhood, highlight the lovely park next to the church (really handy if you travel with kids) and also the square one block away with multiple restaurants. The apartment is really nice!
We didn't take into account the lack of parking and the fact that it has no elevator (my bad as I didn't read carefully the description). Both things can be tricky when you travel with babies.

The apartment was spacious and design like feeling. It felt right to spend few days. It is centrally located and easy to access, yet quiet. Hosts were very nice. They shown me fee parking for the whole stay and helped with the lagguage to the stairs. Thanks a lot.
The aircon is bit weak for the hot summer.
