The location

They asked to transfer deposit which is not clear when I booked the apartment, and it was very loud the clubs around it.

It was what we needed en route from south England to northern Scotland

Secure parking, good layout, lovely decor

It was a bit hard to locate the car park, in that it wasn’t entirely clear that it was in the same block as the apartment.

The central (if noisy) location was perfect for what we needed.

No breakfast

I made a mistake on the booking form, but I thought there would be 7 bed spaces as the listing stated: 1 double; 3 bunk; 1 futon; and 1 sofa bed. This was not actually the case, but the host did everything he could (bringing in extra beds) to accommodate us and provide a bed for everyone. It was very noisy outside at night, but we expected this in the city centre.

It was a good location.

The owner asked for a £150 refundable deposit to a personal bank account on the day of arrival. The breakfast included was expired bagels, the flat wasn’t spotless clean. The place is much smaller than it looks on the photo.

great at the weekend if you plan to be out clubbing until 04:00.

central location, well equipped, generally quite comfortable and very clean.

area is very noisy on a weekend night (until around 04:00) and windows in the apartment aren’t soundproof (especially in the small bedroom where window doesn’t close properly).

Very good location. and easy to access by foot.

We booked for 6 people however this is not a big enough apartment for 6. There wasn’t even 6 cups, plates et cetera. 2 beds were camp beds on the floor. Lucky we had 2 people drop out so there were only four of us. If all of us had be able to attend this would have ruined our night. Also we still haven’t found the car park and had to park somewhere else.

Nice apartment in great location. Very comfortable and good for friends to stay. Lovely to have tea and coffee available and the breakfast offering was good.

Check the access instructions before you get there to save time. Owner was good when we got him on the phone. Everything else was great.

Conveniently located apartment

Great central location, with supermarkets 2-3 mins walk away. The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped, clean, the heating and appliances were easy to use and communication with the hosts was good. The breakfast cereal and milk was a nice touch, as well as tea/coffee/ cooking spices. Would return!

There was some noise on the Wednesday night from students out on the town, this didn't disturb our sleep but was noticeable in the evening.

Wish to come back and enjoy a city break in the same apartment

location, clean and well presented apartment with all what I need

complexity of check in and collecting of the keys from a lockbox in the street during rain. it just needs a short video to explain the process.

Great Stay

Perfectly located for getting to our conference. Free Parking was great. Host was very helpful with clear instructions

There were lots of bars and restaurants nearby so very busy but it is a central location so was expected.

Was not able to check in on time which made us late for all our other stuff we had planned. Very noisy till early hours of the morning due to being over the road from 3 night clubs

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Sheffield.

Brilliant location. Clean. Very secure. Excellent communication with the host. Bagels, cereal and milk left for breakfast which was really nice. We’d happily stay again.

Curtains need black out lining as the rooms too bright in the morning Shower dripping Oven trays need replacing and there’s only a whisk. No fish slice to fry eggs. Very noisy outside as in the city centre.

location - good

Breakfast was provided but consisted of two types of cereal, packets of porridge and some milk, not really to our taste, a loaf of bread and some butter would have been a better option for us but this is only my opinion, general shampoo/conditioner and handwash was provided, safe and secure parking was included.....just don't go in a car any bigger than a golf as it will not fit into the space provided which would have been a normal sized space but for the black tape on the floor put there to enable you and whoever parks in the space next to you to open the car door to get out, all the passengers along with luggage had to exit the car before it could be parked, there would have been no way to get out otherwise!

The tap in the kitchen leaked around the base so we ended up having to fix it asap as the water was going everywhere, the shower in the main bathroom also leaked water over the floor when in use, possibly due to dodgy sealant around the shower glass, the apartment was on the top floor and as it was a very hot weekend we opened all the windows to get air as the apartment was stifling (not the owners fault obviously!) however due to the location this proved a bad idea at night as it was extremally noisy until around 4.30am with the pub crowds and then again around 7am due to the emptying of the glass bins etc, only one key fob provided and given we were a party of 5 this was a tad inconvenient as one person wanted to go back early another one of us had to go back too in order to be able to have the key to access the building later otherwise you couldn't even get through the front door. The site said it accommodated 6 people with the addition of a sofa bed but this turned out not to be true, the sofa was a curved one and I imagine it to be very uncomfortable to try and sleep on. Oh yeh and not nearly enough toilet rolls for a party of five, (four of which were females!) we ended up buying more as we ran out.
