Hot Breakfast changes day by day, free shuttle from and to myoko station + free shuttle (drop off early morning and pick up during afternoon) to main ski resorts, main lobby is super confy to take some drinks and enjoy the winter la landscape. Nathan is a bit rude on his manners but dont get scared, his very helpful and good host!
Shower room looks like an old traditional Japanese bathroom that has been adapted to two simple showers and the hot onsen is covered now, a shame! The shower room is too cold after 7pm. Dry room for snow gear sometimes was not warm enough.

Nathan and Akiko were amazing hosts, always ready with a suggestion or an offer to help. The accommodation was very comfortable, quiet and clean, with plenty of space for the number of guests. Bonus that they have a bar and restaurant as well. We will definitely be back next time we're in myoko!
The only minor downside was the distance from town with a five year old but it was walkable and Nathan was always accommodating in helping you get where you needed to go.

Our room was comfy and clean, breakfast was plentiful, delicious and made fresh upon our arrival downstairs.

Friendly and helpful hosts, convenient location, delicious gyoza and thoughtfully made breakfast. House is always warm and clean. We had a wonderful 6 days there.
Soft pillows and creaky double decker bed needs to be improved on. That's all.

We arrived not knowing what to expect really, but Nathan and Akiko were so welcoming and really good fun. As was Nick, their handyman. The dining room / living area was a place you wanted to be in, so we ended up spending more time there chatting with Nathan, Akiko and Nick (as well as the other guests) rather than heading out into the town.
Akikos food was amazing and good value too, so there was no need to go anywhere else either.
Nathan made extra effort to take us to the resorts, and also picking us up if he was able to.
Nick and Akiko joined us on the slopes too on occasion.
Also, being someone a little over 6ft, the beds were plenty bong enough and were really comfy.
After travelling for 4 months, this was comfortably our favourite stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
There wasn't anything not to like.

Such a great spot - close to all the ski resorts, warm and cosy rooms, great food and all round good vibes. Nathan and Akiko were fantastic hosts! Nathan helped us get around to Ikenotaira and Akiko cooked up the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Their warm welcome definitely topped off a fantastic trip.
The walls are thin so if other guests are up late talking, you can definitely hear them but past 10pm everyone had gone to bed.

The owners are such lovely and caring people. The myoko house was beautiful and the view out of your bedroom window is magical! Amazing breakfast too!
If you don’t have a car it is a bit difficult to get places but the owner offers ride to the mountain in the morning and the train station as well.

Super friendly and very clean. Views from the room were amazing!
