This is a newly furnished, smoke and pet-free, modern Farmhouse with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, situated on 22 idyllic acres complimented by privacy and nature. Comfortably sleeps 16 people, located only 60 mins from NYC and the Poconos Mountains. The home is conveniently located just 15 minutes off route 80 (exit 19) near Bear Brook Valley in Fredon Township, NJ. Surrounded by nature and filled with on site amenities: brand new full size tennis court (USTA grade) with basketball hoop, private pool, gym room, ping pong table, huge entertainment deck, high speed WIFI, outdoor kitchen, fire-pit, linens, towels and daily calls from a variety of local birds.
The surrounding State and local parks, groceries, dinning, working farms, apple picking, pumpkin patches, hiking, makes it a year-round destination vacation property.

The owner and his sons were at the house to greet us . He was very courteous. The house is huge and along with the pool made for a great stay. John the caretaker was great with the grandkids showing them the goats chickens and dogs. Would definitely rent this house again

Shamir's property was just what we were looking for. A house with a beautiful pool and enough space to accommodate our family of 12 comfortably which it succeeded. We had children with us and the fact that it had an area with farm animals and playground was a bonus. The pool was beautifully maintained and the house was clean and the rooms were spacious.

This house was great. Our group consisted of old friend and our families. We wanted a place where we could all get tighter – we did not care too much about what was around since our goal was spending time together (which was a good thing since this house is in the middle of nowhere!).
The house is great and HUGE and just a little bit old. The space is great, tons of room and despite really cold temperatures while we were there, the heat was working great! The hot water however was a bit inconsistent and took forever to get hot (especially in the upstairs bathrooms). The beds have super comfy memory foam mattresses and we loved them! Also, all of the bedrooms have extra beds/futons/sofa beds, which was super convenient for all the kids.
2 things that could use improvement: one is the door to the outside in the living room. The handle is broken and the door swings open. I saw another reviewer comment on this so I am wondering why this has not been fixed yet since it was pretty annoying and made the place freezing cold if something was not placed in front of the door to keep it closed. The other thing was randomly the fire alarms went off (and kept going off) during the day. This scared the kids and was really disruptive.
Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely plan another weekend here (maybe in the summer so we can enjoy the pool!). Also, the vicious guard dogs are so adorable, we wished we could play with them!

We had 11 family members stay comfortably at this house for our Thanksgiving holiday. Shamiur was a great host and was there when we arrived on Wednesday. We didn't run into any subsequent issues but have no doubt he would have been responsive if we had run into any trouble. The kids loved the outdoor space, visiting the farm animals, and building "camp" fires at night. The house had a few quirks - one of the doors in the living/rec room doesn't latch properly, so it would blow at night and leave the downstairs quite cold if you didn't put a chair or something in front of it, but overall it was great.

We had the best time at this awesome property! We rented it for a small family reunion (14 people aged 21-64 yrs old), and we all had a blast. The house is old-school with nothing fancy, but it's big and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and we all enjoyed the farm animals. Where else can you collect your own fresh eggs for breakfast?! The location allowed us to conveniently go rafting, hiking, and spend a day in NYC. I can't say enough good things about the host, either. He was responsive and accommodating. He even did us a favor after we left! I would definitely rent the property again.

We attended a wedding at Bear Creek and stayed here with our family. Fantastic location, less than a mile from the facility. Great house. Very clean and plenty of space for everyone to get ready. The farm caretaker was very friendly and showed the kids around the animals which was a great treat. Would recommend anyone attending an event at Bear Crewk stay here

This property has its all. Huge place to enjoy activities on grass, little playground for kids, tennis court, farm, firepit and plenty of shades during hot days. Pool was great too, wish it had heated option because it was very cold, pool vacuum didnt work to clean it. Inside the house had plenty of rooms and space to enjoy. One of the tvs volume didnt work; and very slow wifi. I would recommend some deep cleaning. Overall it was an amazing stay.

This is my family second time returning to Shamuir property. The house is beautiful and the property is amazing; great place for a family getaway and Shamuir is a great host, very clear and open in communication.

We had a small intimate event during our stay. And all along our stay it was most enjoyable and Shamuir was excellent in timely communication and providing support where needed even at last minute. Property neighbor John was also very helpful with helping random things like providing information for nearby things available. From the start of process from initial enquiry about the property and till the end of stay, Shamuir was very communicative and helped answer all questions. We even enjoyed a few farm fresh eggs. Overall, our family left saying that we have to come back to stay here on a holiday again and we are looking forward to our next stay here very soon again.

We celebrated my parents 60th anniversary and all had a great time. We interacted with the farm animals, gathered fresh eggs, played tennis, had a camp fire and even a few of the more daring took a quick dip in the chilly pool. The farm animals and seclusion of the property make it quite unique, yet with reasonable access to NYC.

Total relaxation.
This property has all the comforts you can ask for. There were plenty of areas to sit and relax. We spent most of our days pool side. The area is very private. The deck had plenty of seating. The bedrooms are all very spacious. The gentlemen who takes care of the animals was friendly and happy to answer all our (farm animal) questions.

Lovely property thank you, Shamiur! Farm fresh eggs were awesome. Your property manager is great and let us hang out with the farm animals. The pool and firepit were great gathering spots. The new tennis court and b ball area were really really nice. The house is large and very accommodating!

Memorial day getaway
We had great time at this wonderful property. Everyone enjoyed outdoors and secluded location gave us lots of privacy and relaxation. House is spacious and well maintained. We are looking forward to go back in the future.

Unique Tranquil Spacious Property
Home was great for our low key ladies weekend. Big rooms, 2 TV rooms where we played games, well stocked gym in basement, comfortable beds, big pool deck perfect for lounging and even some aerobics. Jungle gym would be great for kids. We didn't venture to the tennis court/basketball hoop but it looked nice from the house. On-site chickens provided fresh eggs each day and goats were fun to see/pet. The groundskeeper was super nice. We couldn't get Ubers out there and cell/wifi service was pretty poor, but those are the trade offs for tranquility! Alibi Beach Bar was 20 minutes away and was a great spot with live music for Saturday night dinner. Very happy with our decision to stay at the farm!

Wonderful stay
It is a wonderful house to stay. The house is clean and ample in space and has everything you need. Kids enjoy playing in the court and the playground. Farm animals are very friendly and intimate to people. Will definitely come back.

A+ tennis court! 3 good bedrooms
Our favorite part about the place was the tennis court! It was really nice, seemingly brand new! There was also a basketball hoop which we enjoyed playing on too!
The animals outside are fun to visit. Beware of the dogs barking if you arrive after dark. They are fenced in but it’s hard to know that if you’re arriving at night because it’s completely dark there! That caused us some distress not knowing where the barking dogs were when we arrived.
There was a nice swing set for the kids as well as toys inside for kids to play with.
The main level of the house was nice and the upstairs bedrooms were nice. Both of the upstairs futons were broken though. I would say the upstairs sleeps 8 (if 4 people share the master bedroom, two on a trundle).
The house has two big TVs but they can only be used for streaming (and only if you get good enough if a signal). There is no antenna or cable.
I would say that the place is more accurately a 3 bedroom house. The fourth bedroom is in the basement where it was very musty and the bedroom had multiple spiders within view. There were other really big insects in the basement area which made it hard to relax down there. Also the ping pong room lights wouldn’t turn on.
The location is right next to Bear Brook Valley which is super convenient if you’re in town for an event there. Besides that it would definitely be in the getaway category because there is nothing else of note nearby. It was 45 minutes to Morristown and very expensive to Uber there (and nearly impossible to get an Uber). There were some other restaurants and businesses 15 minutes away.
Shamuir does a great job responding to questions before and during the stay!

Amazing Stay
I can't say enough good things about this home and property. It was perfect for a weekend getaway with family and friends. The home was spacious, clean, and it had a wonderful kitchen for anyone that likes to cook. The property was gorgeous and the tennis court and pool were a crowd favorite. I'll certainly be coming back and staying at this home again.

Rural getaway
Super fun for us to enjoy some exercise and relaxation between tennis/basketball/ping pong and swimming (the pool was chilly in September!). Great kitchen for cooking and we also used the grill and fire pit for s’mores. A bit buggy but to be expected. Roosters, goats and two terrific dogs that guard them were enjoyable. Quick trips to trail ride and a walk through a sunflower maze broke up our days. Bring DVD’s .. the streaming is frustrating. Overall good trip.

Lots of amenities on-site!
Overall great property with lots to do. Having a farm on-site is great attraction for kids (however know that there are dogs that may bark at night). Pool is wonderful however not-heated. We had a great time once some little things were sorted out. Owner is responsive, courteous and professional.

Fantastic Long Weekend!
We were three families with 6 adults and 7 kids staying over Labor Day weekend. The house had more than enough room for all of us to spread out and have a good time! The bedrooms are large (quiet and comfortable rooms), the kitchen is big (we LOVED the griddle!), and there are several areas for everyone to hang out. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong table and the kids loved the playroom.. it kept them entertained on a rainy day! The property is large with its own tennis/basketball court (which we used everyday), a playground, a farm with animals, a campfire area, and of course the pool, which was used and enjoyed. It was easy to check in and Shamuir was such a responsive and friendly host. Amazing all around! We will definitely be back!

Great family vacation home
The property is met my expectations based on the VRBO reviews and pictures. We had a great visit. John, the neighbor was great super helpful and friendly. We loved the farm animals and the best part was Buddy and Bailey. The home is very spacious, big bedrooms. Only problems, no wine glasses and only 4 drinking glasses. No dishtowels or dishrags also no bathroom washcloths and limited bath towels and no pool towels. I would highly recommend this place but just keep in mind bring your own towels.

My family and I had a great time staying here. The house is beautiful and spacious enough for our group of 9 to stay comfortably. The pool was a bit cold and unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate much but we had plenty to do.

We spent a long weekend at Shamuir's place. We had plenty of room to spread out in the spacious house. The kids had a blast in the pool and the grounds are incredible with brand new tennis/basketball court and farm animals that the whole family enjoyed interacting with. The next-door neighbor/caretaker, John, was super friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful, check out Tranquillity Farms when you go.

Lovely Big Spacious Home
Check in instructions was simple and easy. We loved every bit of the house ! It was so spacious and had plenty of room for us all. Although due to the weather being in the 40s-50s with rain we wasn’t able to use the pool because it was too cold , but we enjoyed the ping pong table, gym, the farm and the basketball court. As the owner described the internet service lacks in the area, there will be times you lose service or won’t be able to get anything to load on the tv . Luckily I had service on my phone and I just screen Mirrored it from my screen to the tv. Over all I will definitely recommend this house! Thank you for opening up your home !

Great for Thanksgiving
We had a fabulous time during the Thanksgiving weekend. Basketball court was used. We love hiking on the property. The chickens and goats were a lot of fun to visit. The dogs were so friendly and lived seeing is every day.
