This was our first trip to Quebec City and we are delighted! Property is perfectly located within walking distance to everything. I received several immediate responses from the owner, great recommendations and instructions. We will absolutely return.

Our visit was absolutely outstanding, truly one of the best stays we've ever had. The unit is gorgeous and has everything you'll need, including a washer and dryer! It is a classic loft and the exposed brick just adds to the ambiance. It is beautifully decorated and overlooks the street below. We traveled with our elementary age kids and the unit was well suited for them as well.
If you're traveling to Quebec City for the first time and wondering if this unit is in the heart of the Old City - let me confirm - it's right in the thick of it. You literally step out the door and you're in the action. For that reason alone, you should consider this property. Everything is walkable and at your fingertips, including some pretty amazing restaurants.
The host is very responsive and will typically get back to you within 30-minutes. We had a few questions about the unit and she was incredibly helpful. And truthfully, she went above and beyond on everything. She made sure we had parking. She made sure we knew where the grocery store was located...and more!
We stayed at three other places in Quebec City, including the signature hotel in town, and this was by far the best of the three. Your money will be well spent here.
My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I honestly can't say enough about our experience - we travel a lot and use VRBO often and this stay was truly the best we've ever had.

Location! Loft was stylish and comfortable and the location phenomenal directly above the action on rue St Jean with heavenly aromas drifting in from the shops below. Kids (older teens) popped out as they pleased for tasty treats and exploration. Bunk room is just that, big enough for the beds and that’s it (as described, depicted). Spent 3 days exploring the city and would love to go back. Julie was fantastic- thoughtful, prompt, and helpful in every communication! Excellent overall!

Very helpful and responsive host. Good location but some walk to parking and street is often closed to vehicles. We liked that there were no smelly air fresheners or fabric softeners, but there was a strange odor when entering. The oscillating fan helped on warm days when the AC unit struggled. We'd suggest adding more lighting. Some street noise, but not a peep from the neighbors. The foam mattress was nice & soft (if a little warm). Temperature-indicating shower head was neat, but the shower could use lighting and a soap tray. Could also use a full-length mirror. Would suggest adding a garbage disposal and fix dishwasher rack (missing wheels). Washer & dryer were nice to have (washer door should probably be left open slightly to reduce mold). Note there are a few steps in the entry (possible issue for handicapped guests or large luggage).

the property was as advertised. Julie was easy to contact and when we told her that the TV didn't work she sent someone to attend to it. It worked for a while then we could not turn it on. No way for the remainder of the visit. We visited at peak season so the street could be noisy at night , but most of the time very quiet inside. The lighting was minimal in the bathroom and if you wanted to read in the living area , forget it. It was in the heart of the action, no doubt. The elevator was a bonus and the shops very close.

We had a car so our host obtained a parking pass for the nearby garage. We don’t speak French, and initially the GOS only wanted to give us walking direction because it was close. We found it! Then, we toured on foot. Rue st Jean has it all! Shops, cafes and musicians in the square, all so similar to a European city. We took a 4 hour bus tour, which met at a point, 5 minutes walk from the rental! Again, super convenient. We saw Montmorency falls, st Anne de Beaupre shrine, a coppersmith studio and a chocolate shop. In town, the funicular took us to the oldest portion of the city which had a Main Street full of shops and cafes. All fun and great places to people-watch. Our rental was. Superb, with even a rooftop table for wine and cheese! We would definitely stay here again!

I we enjoyed staying here with our two grand children… It was a great place to see old Quebec ....Great restaurants abound around. We had an issue or two and they were resolved in a timely fashion. Julie and Michael were great to work with; we would return when and if we can get back to Quebec. It was a wonderful experience!!!

The loft is gorgeous and the location in the old part of the city couldn’t be better for sightseeing and dining. We especially loved having coffee and pastries each morning at Paillard. Julie was terrific to work with - have her organize a parking pass for you at the Youville garage.

We had the best experience at this property. The location and the loft itself could not be better. It is so well appointed, decorated and the original features are amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to any body I know to stay there.

The Lofts St. Jean were perfectly situated in Old Québec City. St. Jean is a lively street but it never kept us awake. The bed was very comfortable. The huge soaking tub and full-sized washer/dryer were a luxury. Julie was a very welcoming and responsive host. We would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Québec City.

This is a perfect location to experience old Quebec City. Plenty of places within walking distance to visit, eat, and shop. The loft is exactly as described, and beautifully furnished. I appreciated having soap, dishwasher tabs, etc. and not having to purchase or bring these with us. Julie was super helpful with details for parking, resolving a minor complication with building access and providing recommendations for places to see and restaurants to visit. Stay here! You won’t be disappointed!

Saint Jean Lofts
The property is perfectly situated in Old Québec. The vibrant neighbourhood matches the Loft themselves. The Loft is spotless and well maintained. It feels like a home away from home. The Host is extremely accommodating, and accurate with the details of the stay. The rooftop terrace helps to make the stay that much more memorable. This is my new work home when I travel to Québec not matter the season!

Beautiful space, perfect location
We loved our stay here! The flat itself is ideal. It is as beautiful as the pictures indicate. The view of Rue St. Jean is very cool as is the rooftop shared space. In terms of the location, absolutely everything in Old Quebec City is easily walkable. We also really enjoyed exploring Rue St. Jean beyond the city walls—awesome restaurants! We felt like for our interests, a combination of both the old city and the new, this location couldn’t have been better.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 10-day stay in the loft on Rue St-Jean. It was exactly as advertised, and well-appointed, and we enjoyed the space very much. It was a great home base from which to explore the beautiful city, with many major attractions and great restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend it.
