Everything was good

Location was good
We had to wait for one & a half hours to get into the property because the lock box code did not work and the managers would not answer the phone - just went straight to a message bank.
We would never go back there again

The stone cottage was lovely, seemed relatively new and the location is excellent for touring the region. The view is beautiful.
We were disappointed to arrive to a freezing cold cottage. The concrete floor lends itself to summer visitors but in colder weather we suggest you pre-heat the room for a while before handover, to make the cottage warm and welcoming. The stench from the sewage was overwhelming. The smell fills the cottage and the outside surrounds. It was so bad it restricted our sleep and time spent in the cottage. Suggest also, softer bed linen and wool blankets and perhaps floor rugs for colder climates. A small coffee pod machine is more the norm these days and would have been nice. There is a major problem with the entrance driveway. The ruts and potholes could seriously damage a car. We had to be extra careful and pick a line to follow when entering and exiting.

very clean with an amazing view. perfect for 2 people
it was a nice property, it needed some personal touches. it wasn’t very cosy

The studio was so cozy, perfect for 2 people, the fire was delightful, basic cooking facilities but we cooked a lovely meal each night. The best part was looking out the windows at the 4 peaks of Freycinet NP. Very handy having a washing machine & dryer & drying rack.
The shower is very tiny, we managed but less mobile or larger framed people would struggle.

Amazing surroundings/views and access to the walks/trails. Good bed and shower.
Left side of building flooded due to heavy rainfall. Probably requires some work to foundations to prevent this from happening. Television didn’t work - better off not having one.

Loved the location. Loved the open fire and the view was sensational!
I guess Tasmania is a little pricier than expected.

location was terrific with an excellent view. the unit was modern and stylish.
the stove cook top struggled to boil water. the shower leaked. the clothes dryer mounting was pulling out of the wall (dangerous). the air con was noisy. loose roof metal banged in wind. no WIFI. but worst of all, there was a chronic leak in the waste water. after taking a shower or washing clothes, a wet area developed in the garden. it became a stream of smelly water flowing down the access road. the water had eroded the road and cut deep potholes (a chronic problem) making access difficult. the smell made it difficult to open the windows. we contacted the rental agents who did not act. poor maintenance makes this a property to avoid.

Quite literally a 10/10 experience. Every trip my wife carries a packet of disinfectant wipes which are used to give a thorough cleaning of any location we stay at, however so impressive was the cleanliness and condition of the studio these weren't used!!! This place did not disappoint at all

This was an excellent appointed studio with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Cole’s Bay. The studio is very close (within 50 m) to a lovely jetty with benches to stare at the lovely view. There is also a convenience store/bottle shop, fish and chip shop and ice cream parlour within 2 min walk, so everything is catered for. Watch out because everything closes at around 8pm.
The bed was comfortable and temperature OK for our stay in late February. I am guessing that the wood burner would be very useful in colder months, but there was no firewood for us to use if it had been colder. The shower was powerful (although there was a small leak from the tray) and there was a washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom which was very useful.
There is a 2 ring electric cooker and a microwave so ample for self catering. There is also an iron/ironing board, toaster, kettle and a variety of teas and coffees.
The studio is about 5 mins drive from the Wineglass Bay car park so well placed for many walks whether you are an experienced walker or a novice.
The studio doesn’t have Wi-Fi, so take note.
I would certainly book again.
No Wi-Fi. The drive had a few pot holes but able to avoid them.

Great location , great bathroom , comfortable bed , ok kitchenette. Very happy overall.
Driveway needs to be resealed difficult accessing parking spot without a SUV

Location and outlook to Coles Bay and National Park; accommo facilities were very good including washing machine & drier which was welcome given we had been travelling for 5 days and doing day hikes. The next street over and very easy walking distance were 2 cafe/restaurants plus extremely varied and well stocked Convenience Store.
the kitchen plug was too small so water just ran out, impossible to do dishes.

What a wonderful studio so close to the centre of town.
Very comfortable bed, and the kitchenette had all the facilities you need. Upon arrival the studio was very clean and well presented.
It was not the fault of the facility, but we had very ordinary weather, with lots of rain, but we still had fun.

Good view and location. Was cosy and a great little apartment.
The shower was a little small

It was very comfortable and convenient to the general store and cafe. Loved that it included a washer and dryer.
We did not experience any staff, so cannot comment. It was a delightful stay and we enjoyed the Freycinet Lodge as a dinner destination.
Nothing to dislike.

The place was near by everything we needed. The mattress was perfect, so comfortable!
Clean and tidy room. Firewood ready to use and easy to light.
I wish they had hooks on the bathroom and shampoo dispenser on the shower and of course WIFI.

Beautiful semi-detached stone-faced studio cottage equipped with wood burner. Appreciated that the fire was already set and plenty of cut wood provided inside, with extra under cover outside. Very comfortable. Location excellent for Freycinet cruise and exploration.
Needed some extra fire-lighters to get the fire going the second night.

Cleanliness.
Well appointed
Wood fire with adequate firewood
Only criticism is that the tv at first did not function and required some fiddling with wiring to obtain a picture. Once done it worked ok

location, everything was provided in the accommodation. The view
driveway, outdoor lights (senor, kept coming on and off at night and the ones at the front were not bright enough to see at night

LOVED this little place. The beautiful view of the water and mountains from the lounge and bed was so fabulous.
Really well stocked place.
The oysters at the Geographe Restaurant were soooo good and it’s next door.
The shower was tiny. No towel rail. The driveway needs a little attention also.
