it had a nice view and we did see a bear on our trip.
There was no hand soap in the bathrooms. There were cockroaches in the kitchen. One of the king size beds was broken and sinking down in the middle.

Had a beautiful view
Everything else, kitchen table(s) they had two pushed together 1 of the tables was so lopsided you couldn't use it. The couches were so old you needed assistance to get out of them. The fire place had no wood, the fireplace tools were bent and broken. They left an 1/8th of a hand soap bottle, keep in mind I had 9 guests for 4 nights, 1 single ply toilet paper for each bathroom. The kitchen pans were so thin, it would burn the food I needed to cook. Thanksgiving morning I had to clean the oven before cooking my bird because the house filled up with smoke... terrifying as that was, not a single smoke detectors went off, 3 teaspoons, again 9 people. Patio furniture had a broken leg on 1 of the tools. Hand rails weren't attached going up the 2 flights of stairs going in. Some TV remotes missing, some had no batteries. Found lamps with no light bulbs. Property is poorly maintained.

perfect for large family
outside deck a bit outdated with hot tub… rotted wood… guest should be told to expect treacherous terrain when traveling up mountain

The house was very spacious and great for family time. Loved the hot tub and pool table also.
The roads were very narrow and a little scary at night.
The bears put a dent in my car and broke the handle. I had to get it fixed when I got home.

The house was fully functional and very clean! Met our expectations and was exactly what we needed for our size group! Would definitely rent the place again, BUT please, please know the house is very high in the mountains and the accessible pools are even higher in the mountains. Also if you like to bear watch this is the perfect house! :)
Recognizing the house was built in the 70's it could use a bit of updating on the outside other than that, it was a decent property!

Was very pleased with the house and the location was awesome to the activities we had planned to do. Everyone just loved seeing the bears roaming around!

Beautiful house-Plenty of beds and seating. Great hot tub. Quiet and peaceful location. Pool table and gaming table were both hits with the kids.
The decking was falling apart and one of our guests got a splinter in their butt from the benches outside. The playhouse was falling apart and bug ridden. The foosball table had no ball. The pool table was missing a ball.

The fireplace.
We had several problems. 2 of the 3 toilets were not working. It was dirty. I contacted the owner and she assured me that she would call her guy who takes care of the house and have it fixed...... nothing ever got fixed or cleaned. There were dirty masks on the ground, socks hanging from the tree, empty beer bottles laying around and a used condom under the bed.

As far as distance from restaurants/attractions, it was perfect. The parking for our four cars very snug, but it worked. The home was cozy. The linens and decor were updated.
The hot tub was not able to be used, a main reason we chose this property. There was also no view due to the overgrowth. The view and hot tub were highlighted about this property but both were absent. The property definitely needed a good cleaning. The inside looked spruced up but not deep cleaned and the outside needed pressure washing badly.
