Love the different restaurants within the Hotel. Love morning coffee available just outside your door, or breakfast room service. Love Mimosas and Eggs Benedict for Breakfast. Love their offerings of Live Music.

Love McMenamin’s decor & vibe and how history and art is showcased in a meaningful manner. There’s something to learn about the local area everywhere you turn. We were lucky enough to be there for Monday night jazz in the basement.
walkability to the convention center not ideal.

Food was a little expensive but the quality of product was excellent, the building is amazing. Staff in the dining room, reception and bars, was top notch, friendly and helpful.
You guys need your own detailed website- the online booking didnt give enough details to understand how the building is laid out- its a pretty amazing place. Parking was a little bit of a problem- hopefully you can negotiate with city of tacoma for dedicated street parking. If you can find a spot near the hotel on the street you can park after 6pm and dont have to move until 10am the next morning. Remember to back in if the parking signs say to do so

Location is fantastic! We get munchies at the bar and any drink we order is fantastic! The personal is always fun and informative!!! We feel relaxed and welcome every time we visit. Everyone is friendly, that brings us back often! The atmosphere is so fun and no matter where we go we are welcome! That counts!!!! As minority quite often we aren't looked upon as welcome here it doesn't matter!!!! Thank you🌞
We love it here!!!!

There is no secure parking and for the area - this is a deal breaker. The actual hotel is a beautiful historic building and the staff (including Security who talked to us in the a.m.) were great. However, our catalytic converter was stolen off our car while parked RIGHT in front of the hotel. The end result is it cost us literally thousands of dollars for a one-night stay. We haven’t heard from the hotel at all even though security wrote a report. We won’t be back.

such a great place to stay!
I have to work for a living - absolutely no place in our room to work. Had to set up my laptop on a pile of books and work standing. Not fun ☹️

The breakfast was good, location is awesome. I love the decor and convenience of having everything in one place. Wish we had more time. Loved the art everywhere and write ups on people. Lots of cool history.
The price? I rent my airbnb 2 bed 2 bath condo for 145 per night in Scottsdale. Of course I also have a 5 night minimum. I can't really complain about anything other than that. Beautiful facility. Dinner at the tiki bar was not good, mostly fried food. Room was on the small side, but nice.

Great food, great view, great music
Parking was tricky, but not impossible. Figuring out how to get there was tricky, too, but that's my phone's issue.

We stayed during our honeymoon trip and loved everything about this hotel! The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was perfect and we enjoyed exploring all of the areas of the hotel and bars. Highlights were the free live music in the beautiful band room, the secret bar, the tikki style bar where we had dinner and drinks, and the tap room. We hope to return one day!
