The owners were warm and welcoming along with their Westie dog, Woody.
The cooked breakfast was very good. A selection of fruit juices and cereals was available but no fresh fruit such as strawberries, melon etc. which would have been a good addition.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was equipped with everything except a shaver socket. There was always plenty of hot water and a very good power shower. From our bedroom window there were wonderful countryside views with Glastonbury Tor in the distance.
Tea, coffee and fresh milk is supplied for the room (but no biscuits!) and use of a fridge and freezer in the utility room.
Wi-Fi signal was very good.
As the lovely farmhouse is in the heart of the countryside with no eateries nearby, it would be good to have somewhere to eat a sandwich or snack upon return form a day out.

As Just on a personal note, as a tall man I found the low doors and beams painful when I forgot to duck! 😂

This is a really wonderful b&b - a beautiful farmhouse that has been lovingly restored to the highest standard. We stayed in the garden room which has amazing light, double aspect french doors, luxurious bathroom, including bath for a good soak after a walk and a walk in shower. Enchanting garden and summer house. The bed topped it all - extremely comfortable and big, we slept SO well. Our friendly and welcoming hosts put thoughtful attention to detail to every aspect of the stay - fresh, delicious breakfast, quality teas, minimal use of plastic, local news and ideas. We were visiting for a wedding but will definitely return for longer. It's a also good stop off point if you want to break up the drive to Devon or Cornwall.
No negatives!

Very welcoming host( Louise) who made us feel as though we were friends coming to stay. Beautiful bedroom with extremely comfortable bed.
Spotlessly clean everywhere.
Absolutely delicious breakfasts, perfectly cooked on the Aga.
We took up some of Louises suggestions of places to eat for evening meals and so glad we did as food was good in both places.
Lovely quiet location and would highly recommend staying at Middle Farm House.
If we are in the area again, we would certainly stay.
Nothing at all.

We loved staying at Middle Farm House . A beautiful home with beautiful facilities amd welcoming owners. My little girl was so happy with our stay she sat up late to write a thank you letter .

We loved everything from the tranquil setting, the immaculately presented rooms, the super comfortable bedding to the warm welcome Louise and Roger gave us and continued to give throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, even catering for a member of our party with some ‘unconventional’ ways was done with charm and grace. The wonderful home cooked breakfasts were accompanied by some cheerful, interesting conversations to start off the day. The use of the idyllic summer house for a fish and chip supper and additionally being able to use the sitting room adjacent to our room of an evening, was a real perk. Louise also provided some great recommendations for places to visit and to eat. Would highly recommend a stay here for those looking for a touch of relaxed, comfortable luxury.

Middle Farm is like a boutique hotel but with the feel of a welcoming family home, tucked away in a quiet corner of picturesque Somerset. The rooms are comfortable, clean, stylish and spacious and all have stunning views over the immaculate garden, beautiful stone buildings and fields beyond. Lou, Roger and Woody made us feel like part of the family. We have already booked to stay again, this time with my parents who will stay in the stunning garden room with step-free access. Thank you so much for a restorative break and for your advice on where to visit. I'm now building 2.5 hour garden breakfasts into my daily routine :0)
We loved it all.

Beautifully renovated property and gorgeous spacious garden. It was easy to find and a wonderful getaway from London life and feeling like you could breath fresh air again and forget your troubles. The owners were really warm and welcoming and it was lovely to get to know them and the history of the area. They had great recommendations and we feasted on all the local delights.
Looking forward to visiting again.
