Great location. Comfortable. Quirky. Near to Glastonbury for those interested.
Personal preferences - we did not like the very old - and very worn wooden loo seats.

Loved the peaceful location and the amount of space in the property. It was great to see how the old was mixed with the new and the skylights really gave the place an airy feel. Also loved the view of the garden and the horses in the far field.
The consistancy of the hot water in the showers. One was always very hot while the other was mostly ok but one time the water was luke warm.

The cottage was really unusual and the conversion made really good use of the space. It was very comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location.
It was really hard to find, make sure to ask the owners for directions as the satnav takes you to the wrong place.

The location was not as we expected. Thought it was at least in a village. A car is a must

The layout of the property is good. Plenty of space relax in. Quiet area.
When we arrived, the owners weren’t on site and throughout the whole stay, we never met the owners at all. Our first job when we arrived was to clean the fridge as it wasn’t nice at all. The property is situated at the rear of the owners property, sharing the parking area. The garden is not enclosed and very unkept. The owner repeatedly kept letting his terriers out which are not kept away from the holiday cottage and roam free. This means with our dogs and their dogs is was chaos. A simple picket fence would be the solution for more privacy!
As we were working at a local event, repeatedly each morning we packed the car ready to leave. Despite clearly being hassled by the owners dogs, they did not call them in during this period. It made it really difficult and the owners dogs kept trying to get in the vehicle and also defecated near our vehicle.
We won’t be returning.

This was a lovely location for our break. There was plenty of space and we had a fantastic time.
It took a while to understand the heating.

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location for us. Quiet but lots of interesting places a short drive away.
The Bake House was plenty big enough for our family and our teenagers enjoyed having a room and mezzanine to themselves.
We all loved the log burner and the interesting decor. The outdoor space and views were great too.

Quiet location but convenient for country walking and sightseeing with numerous local attractions a short drive away (Wells, Glastonbury, National Trust spaces), pub a few minutes drive, local co-op & post office a bit further. Comfortable, characterful layout and decor, spacious property, good facilities and space to sit outside and parking; lots of internal stairs so not suitable for disabled or toddlers. WIFI was excellent but failed on penultimate day. Andrew the owner helpful in trying to fix.
Would have been helpful to have some printed information/recommendations in the cottage to get us started. We came well provisioned but offer of a welcome pack (milk/bread) might have been useful
