We checked in on a Wednesday and sadly my teenager woke up Thursday morning with a cold. The last thing that you want to happen the first full day of vacation. But, the way the house was laid out she could rest comfortably while we still were able to make the most of it, until the rest of us got her cold… then we were thankful for comfortable beds and easy to use televisions. We made the most of our trip and have great memories. The amazing woman across the canal, Chasten Whitfield, (a professional fisherwoman) came over to help our 8 yr old set up her fishing pole. She caught some catfish right in the canal and thanks to Chasten we knew not to touch them! We had minor things come up, a drain was clogged, sliding screen door fall off the track, and two outlets were not working. The property manager was so quick and helpful. We truly appreciated her help! Overall we made the best of a bad situation and even though it was not the vacation we hoped for, the pool was amazing while we were able to use it, the bedrooms were comfy and the house was clean and well stocked. We had a few requests that they graciously helped us out with and we look forward to staying here again when we are all healthy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PROPERTY!!

Amazing vacation. House was awesome. Fully stocked with all amenities. Great location. Pool was warm and beautiful. Owners communicated quickly regarding AC issue. Owners were Very considerate. They dropped off 2 bottles of wine to make up for any AC inconvenience. Would definitely stay again!!!

Property was very nice. A few issues. The toaster was broken and the water filter in the refrigerator was outdated. After contacting our property contact person the issues were taken care of within 24 hr. Very good service. The pool was very nice also!

I rarely give negative reviews but I feel it is necessary here. We were disappointed with the overall condition and cleanliness of the unit for what we paid. Furniture is uncomfortable, house was NOT clean. Open first aid kit with wrappers in kitchen cabinet, shower had mold, used napkins and left over food under kitchen trash can, stains on comforter, cigarette wrappers in dining area, cushions on outdoor furniture do not fit furniture and master BR is hot compared to the rest of the house. On a positive note, Kitchen was updated and well stocked and pool was nice. Most likely will not rent again for the $$.

We had a relaxing extended weekend stay with our teens while playing in the IMG tournament. Very clean home and in a quiet neighborhood. The layout of the home worked perfectly for us & the beautiful pool area was used as often as possible!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the newly updated property near AMI! My husband, 2 teens, and mother had plenty of room to spread out. We stayed in another property in this neighborhood a few years ago; the neighborhood is quiet and great for walking/running. My husband and son caught many fish off the dock, and we loved the pool! My teen son was happy to find that it had a basketball goal. The kitchen and house were well stocked, even including beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, beach towels, etc. It was easy to get in touch with the property manager when we had a few quick questions. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Rental process was easy and smooth. Home is nice with a great pool area, although it is very clear that this is purely a rental property for the owners. The furniture throughout is fairly uncomfortable, including the pool furniture, which consists of some plastic lounge chairs and a very small and upright seating area - no way to lie down and relax. The mattress in the master bedroom is shot and sags badly towards the middle. We were charged to heat the pool, but the property manager refused to heat the pool above 85 degrees (90 is pretty standard for this time of year), so even after being charged the pool was really too cold to use (the weather was cloudy and windy, so not ideal conditions). The kitchen is very nice and well stocked and the property was immaculately clean.

Quiet and relaxing canal with not much movement. Very close to Bean point with only a 25 minute boat ride and about the same to Jew Fish Key and Beer Can Island. Can't wait to do it over as soon as the property becomes available again.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay! Clean, bright and modern. The owners provided everything we could need from spices to sunscreen! The pool was amazing and the basketball hoop was an added bonus. The kayak was a breeze to use and the kids really enjoyed going out to the ocean and back. Cortez has great restaurants and AMI is only a short drive away. Would definitely stay again!

The house was recently totally remodeled and therefore, very clean and functional. The kitchen was great for cooking (the outdoor grill was great too). The pool area including the screen in area is where we spent most of our time. The neighborhood was very quiet and the place is a great location to bike to the beaches or for convenience to stores.

This property is a gem and we will be booking this home next year or any other time we go down to the area. The house is newly renovated and is absolutely beautiful and so clean. It was perfectly located to the bay which gives you perfect access to Longboat and Anna Maria Island. If you have a boat, this house is perfect. The house has the perfect peaceful JuJu and we had no issues just spening the time there. There was 6 adults and the house was so comfortable with us. Something that was not listed on the info for the house, is that the house is FULLY stocked with everything you need. Beach towels, Beach chairs, and Umbrellas. There is a regular coffee maker as this was something we were wondering and so we brought ground coffee. Everything is the kitchen was in perfect condition and so comfortable to cook in as we did most meals. My only wish, is that rental homes near the beach would have a small deep freezer in the garage for guest to potentially keep bags of ice. Having a boat and spending the day on the way, would have been awesome! This house was truly perfect and we cant wait to return again.. still without kids! ;-)

We were looking for something close to Anna Maria but also really convenient to groceries and other shopping and this fit the bill! Roomy, REMODELED TOP TO BOTTOM, beautifully decorated and furnished with everything under the sun it was perfect ! The pool was wonderful and the screen porch perfect for birdwatching and late night wine sampling’s. We loved it!!
