The whole family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home and country of Costa Rica! The road up to the home is a bit of a journey (but with 4 wheel drive no problem) but it is so worth it when you get to the home. The views are incredible from every window and deck. Wil, the property manager was so accommodating and easy to work with. If we return to Costa Rica this will be our choice to stay! Thanks again Suzanne, you have a lovely property!

We had a great vacation. We had 14 people in our group. Our kids loved the pool and the house has great outdoor seating. Wil was always available and super helpful.

What is beautiful place! We saw parrots and toucans flying around the property every day. The house is roomy and open with views of the gorgeous property. Will the property manager was nice and helpful whenever we had questions.
Highly recommended experience!

The property was just as explained in all the reviews and descriptions we read. We arrived later in the evening than anticipated, but Wil was in contact and had one of assistants (Monkey) meet us at the turnoff to the house. Monkey was very thorough and took us up the dirt road and through the 2 security gates to reach the house. Once at the house, Monkey took us through each room in detail right down to the light switches. The road is as described in other reviews, very drivable but need 4-wheel drive.
There were 12 people in our party, all over the age of 50 so we utilized all the bedrooms even the one with the entrance on ground level. This room is habitable but not as nice as the ones in the main house and the couple that stayed in that room enjoyed the seclusion but shared it with extra unanticipated critters from the outside (lizards, worms) as it is on ground level in a jungle.
We had four excursions and three catered meals with Wil Tours. We did the ATV Tour, the National Park, Monkey Boat Tour and the Cruise. Wil had given us a price for the Monkey Boat Tour and the three meals, the ATV tour was to be paid in real time based on single or double riders. When we went to pay Wil in cash (preferred) at the prearranged price Wil's wife very kindly let him know he had missed calculated the numbers and we owed more money per person. My advice, pay for the tours in real time. Alex was our adventure guide for all the tours, he was FABULOUS! Highly recommend him.Great Trip

located in the coastal rain forest, this property hosted my merry band of 13 kids and grandkids. Our property manager Wil was key to our excellent adventure which involved all kinds of self researched excursions and beach days. This area of CR is exceptional as a true taste of the culture. No large resorts or tourist oriented properties, many small sodas, groceries & bars. We visited eight different beaches abound,(we visited 8) along with three waterfalls (with swimming pools) among other attractions, many within an 1/2 to hour drive (don't miss the Don Emillo coffee plantation experience)! Outdoor grill, onsite pool and well equipped kitchen added to our comfortable stay. When you come, be sure to rent a standard or larger 4x4, you will need it to safely access the property and your laundry list of adventures!
Just an overall outstanding experience. We will return to this CR region soon!

This place is stunning. Unfortunately it is not properly cleaned and is overrun with ants.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Sea Breeze II. Great house, the location is a real WOW, and great support from the owner and property manager. We have to give this place full marks. We wish we were there now!

Wil and Suzanne were both great to work with. We booked our trip almost a year ago, and communication was great the entire time. The house is beautiful. Remember, you’re in the jungle. Wildlife abounds.
A few quick notes:
The house is in a gated community with a second gate leading to the house. Our group never felt as though we weren’t safe. Every door and window in the house locked with ease.
4x4 is highly recommended. Once you know the path, transversing is easy and Wil was great to meet beforehand and lead us to the house, and around the house.
Each room has a separate A/C unit and helps keeps the rooms cool, especially in the heat.
Booking excursions through Wil was tremendous and he and his team went above and beyond to make sure the entire group had a great time.
Overall, I can’t say enough positive and look forward to our next stay in Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

I don't know where to start. This house was amazing starting the second I sent an inquiry to Suzanne. She was beyond helpful and easy to communicate with during the whole process. To start, Wil, the house manager, was also very easy to communicate with and stayed in contact with me throughout the whole trip. There was someone waiting to show us the way to the house when we first arrived. You will absolutely need a 4x4 and yes, the road is steep and curvy but manageable (even in the rain). Upon arrival we were shown all the ins and outs of the gorgeous house. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished with everything you need. A reminder that you are IN THE JUNGLE so you might see some bugs or ants. Knowing and accepting that going into the trip, you will be fine. We never had any issues. There are 4 levels of the house so be aware of that before you book in case you have people with mobility issues. We utilized the washer and dryer which was lovely to have.Swam in the pool every day and bird watched each time we stepped outside.
We used Wil's chef services (delicious), booked an ATV tour, Manuel Antonio guided hike, and Monkey boat tour. Alex, Wil and Monkey are a wonderful team and all love what they do as it shows in the quality of service they provide. Our group ranged from 5 to 75 and everyone raved about how amazing this house is.
I would not hesitate to recommend this house and we cannot wait to go back!

We had an awesome experience at the property! The in-country host was just fantastic and helped us with a lot of the tours we wanted to go on as well as great places to eat!
I have to reiterate how awesome the in-country hosts were!

This home has security issues that we feel morally obligated to talk about that led to a burglary. The ground level had 2 sliding doors that could not be locked. We went to bed the first night in an unsecured home and had no ability to communicate these concerns because upon arrival the Wifi was not working and there was no cell reception. You will find that the review before us (Beware Scorpions) also mentions these security issues. We talked with management the next morning and we were told the house was safe. They restored our wifi but did not fix the doors. The next day when we were away the house was burglarized and we lost thousands of dollars of our property. After dealing with the police we had no option but to move to a hotel, against the homeowners wishes. We did not feel safe in this unsecured property. The homeowner never acknowledged this lapse in security, she told us the doors all lock and focused on her 5-star reviews. Having her minimize what we went through was frustrating. Instead of enjoying Costa Rica, we found ourselves dealing with the aftermath of being burglarized. Crime can happen anywhere but we should not have to advocate for doors that lock. This lapse in security could have been fixed as it was a problem for the previous tenants. Please self-advocate for yourself in this home. Check every lock with the manager. Text with the owner about your security expectations. We are still trying to resolve these issues and are grateful for VRBO’s help.

Would do it again!

My overall rating of the house is a “2.5”. While the house is in a beautiful location and we loved using the pool during the day, we ended up cutting our trip short when I was stung by a scorpion. Thankfully I was not allergic as I subsequently learned that if I were, I could have gone into anaphylactic shock. This would have been a big problem as emergency vehicles would not have been able to reach the house due to the very steep drive and that the closest hospital is 45 minutes away. We were not warned about the potential for scorpions in advance, so we were not on alert for that possibility. Following that incident, my family no longer felt safe staying there and we relocated to a resort in the Jaco area.
Other than the scorpion encounter, I was also disappointed by certain features of the house and the outside living space. Portions of the interior have been repainted. The neutral colors in the online pics have been replaced with a more Caribbean vibe and darker colors which make it much darker inside the house in the evening hours. Sterile LED lights throughout the interior make it feel more like a hospital than a warm, comfortable home and, because of this, there really wasn’t a good place to gather as a family in the evenings.
We would have happily gathered around the pool, but that area is also dimly lit without any working lights in the pool itself or around the pool deck. There is only one LED fixture and a couple of dropdown lights closer to the house by the grill, but this is insufficient as it does not provide enough light in the surrounding space.
Note that the ceiling fan on the pool deck does not work – which makes it hotter than necessary even while sitting in the shade. Additionally, the refrigerator by the pool does not work either. As such, if you want to have food and cold drinks nearby, this makes it nearly impossible and you have to continuously go upstairs to the kitchen for refreshments.
Finally, it’s important to note that while the house is in a secure location, the main gate of the development was wide open for more than a 24-hour period and it is not possible to lock all of the doors at the house. We eventually got over this issue, but it is something to note if you are security conscious.
This house has all the makings of a stellar rental. We really enjoyed the wildlife around the property which has toucans, macaws, and parrots constantly flying overhead. Stargazing is also amazing

If there was a piece of paradise…this is it!!! We were so blessed to have enjoyed this VRBO property!! The property is set on a mountain, secluded, with a view that had us in awe day in and day out. The starry nights were magical!! And the pool was enjoyed all hours of the day. Both the owner Suzanne and Will were responsive and attentive to every worry and question we had. Will went above and beyond with his care to make us comfortable and make sure we had all we needed and wanted. (We added Chef Services for a dinner that was phenomenal…and the best Tres Leches you ever had!!! We also had Will come and make us snacks one day…and taught us how to cook Fried Plantains!!) The perfect touch. Although the driveway is steep and an adventure it’s self, the location for us was perfect to Dominical!! Cheers to the most memorable vacation!!! Pur Vida!!!

If you are looking for a beautiful, spacious home in a serene, ocean view location, this is it.
The home is modern with excellent showers and a fully equipped kitchen. Whether lounging next to the pool or upstairs on the deck adjoining the dining room we were immersed in the beauty and peacefulness of the surrounding jungle and beach view in the distance.
The property manager was always available and helpful when needed.

This place was immaculate! The pictures are accurate. The property looks as posted. There is a sixth bedroom that is on the lower level, which is not inside the house. The drive up to the property was the scariest part of the stay, but once you get used to it, it was a breeze. The House Manager, Wil, helped us make our trip awesome! He offered a few different excursions that were super fun!

mesmerizing
The property is way better than the pictures shown online. The house is new, well kept and js amazing views from every room. The sunrises are priceless, the house is surrounded by rainforest and wildlife is seen all the time (toucans, monkeys, wild turkeys, deers, tapirs, etc)

Everything Costa Rica in One Place
The Real Thing- they make movies and write novels, create theme parks based on this place. Toucans and Capuchins, every variety of flower and tree, a true Garden of Eden. Every place we visited, every experience we had in Costa Rica crowned in perfection by returning, 4 wheel to the Sea Breeze II in Savegre. It is truly as beautiful as the photos and more so. We felt like birds ourselves perched high above the ocean at the tops of the canopies in a tree house made by humans.

Paradise
Our stay here was wonderful. Wil was responsive and always helpful. We used his business for several excursions and they were excellent. We also had his cater a dinner for our group and it was amazing. Wil was able to assist with any random needs.
The house was consistent with what you see in the pictures. The view of nighttime thunderstorms from the master suite was breathtaking. The house was in a space that was not visible to neighbors and the privacy was calming. The Casita is way cuter than it looks in the pictures. We did not use it during our stay but it would have been a more than acceptable place to stay. 4 wheel drive is a must to get to the property. I recommend making the first trip up the driveway during the day otherwise that first trip is a bit concerning.

Family Gathering for 80th birthday party
We had 13 people in the house ranging from age 9 to 80 and had plenty of space for all of us. Suzanne and Wil are fabulous to work with and always respond quickly when messaged. We did the monkey boat tour and the ATV tour with Wil and had an absolute blast- we all highly recommend these tours! We also had Wil come cook a meal at the house for us and it was delicious! We were in the pool every day as it was very hot/humid and loved the beautiful surroundings. We saw many animals and creatures including monkeys in the trees surrounding the property. Please be aware that you absolutely have to have 4x4 vehicle or you won't make it up to the property. We did not know this and had a van that was front wheel drive and could not make it up. Wil and Suzanne were very accommodating and helpful with finding a different car for us. I also should warn that the double twin room on the listing is actually a queen bed and you have to go outside from the main house to get to it. Our young kids were supposed to stay there and they were scared at night. That being said, it is totally fine for adults. Overall we had a great time and made many family memories! Thank you Suzanne and Will for your hospitality!

Family Vacation
After 2 years of planning our vacation at this property, it did not disappoint. My husband and I took our children and grandchildren ,there was a total of 12 of us. We had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool they were in it all day, when we weren’t at the beach.
Wil the property manager was wonderful. I had been in contact with him off and on for 2 years and he always responded and helped out. I highly recommend his ATV tour. We all went including the 2 year old and had a blast.
It was the vacation we had hoped for. Thank you Suzanne for you hospitality and Wil for your service.

Magical Vacation
There were seven of us enjoying our first time ever in Costa Rica. After the initial shock of the drive up to the house 😃 it became no big deal, though a 4 wheel drive is a must. The views are outstanding, the bird watching amazing and the house is very accommodating.
There were a few hiccups, none of which were caused by the house or property. The owner Suzanne and manager Wil were both easy to get a hold of if needed.
The manager, Wil, is nothing short of AMAZING to work with. He and crew cooked an amazing dinner for us on our first night, led us on three unforgettable adventures (zip lining, ATVing, and a monkey boat tour, (would recommend them to everyone) and cooked an amazing 60th bday dinner for our last night there.
All in all, one of the best vacations I’ve ever had even with the unusual amount of rain we had last week.

Hidden jungle gem😍
Beautiful, secluded, modern property that actually isn’t far from delicious cuisine and gorgeous beaches! The hosts are delightful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend getting an all wheel drive car. The best part of the trip was just lounging by the large pool watching the sunset. Would recommend!

Amazing home in an incredible location
We recently stayed at Sea Breeze II with 13 family members and had a great time. The house is beautifully appointed with plenty of room and privacy for every one and great common areas for gathering and enjoying each others company. The drive to the house is a real treat! Everyone wanted a chance to drive the car through the shallow river up to the house! The pool area got the most attention every afternoon and the upper deck was an ideal place to gather for coffee in the morning and say hello to the spider and white-faced monkeys that came to visit on a daily basis. There were also so many other incredible birds and animals that we were able to view right from the deck--the Tucans, green parrots and Macaws were a daily welcome sighting.
We had Wil and his family cook meals for us several nights. The food was delicious and it was a very special treat to just enjoy family time without having to cook or clean up afterwards. Wil was so attentive and friendly. He helped us with so many things including arranging for all of us to get our Covid tests before returing to the US before our departure. I can't say enough about the house, the location and the friendliness of everyone we encountered during this experience. Suzanne was so amazing from the very first moment we booked this trip--she was quick to respond to any questions and always worked to accommodate any requests.
This was a very special place for me and my family. The proximity to Dominical, Utiva and Ojochal makes this an ideal spot (while still close enough to Quepos for some of our more urban needs).
Thank you for providing us an incredible place to create some life-long memories Suzanne. Please also extend our gratitude to Wil for all his care and attention!

Paseo perfecto

Toucan paradise!
We had an amazing time last week at Sea Breeze II. The house has an amazing view of the countryside as well as the ocean. You can even hear the waves rolling in at times. If you are a bird watcher, this house is for you! Heck if you aren't a bird watcher this house is for you! Toucans and parrots will serenade you as the sun sets. The house has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The pool is fabulous along with all the outdoor areas. The penthouse is the piece de resistance of the entire of the property. The sitting area is the ideal place for a cup of coffee to start your day or a glass of wine to end it. Amazing property and very well maintained. Thank you Suzanne and to the property manger Wil for an amazing vacation. We will most definitely be back. Sincerely, Phil
